Room and bathroom clean but rather dated. Woodchip wallpaper painted yellow. Crack in one wall. Furniture a bit dated. A bit like staying in student accommodation from 30 years ago. Bar and reception staff very helpful and efficient. Didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel because it was fairly pricey and alternatives within walking distance. Hotel was in a good location.

Room was very outdated, pillows felt as if they had been there since the hotel opened its doors 30 odd years ago and didn’t offer any support, my head was on the mattress most of the night.. Apart from that the staff was friendly and location was good.

Great old hotel, come experience a unique 300 year old structure, fully modernized with all the comforts. Restaurant was closed for dinner but breakfast wonderful, fresh cooked eggs, bread local jams and honey.

It's a very ordinary hotel. Because it's Sunday, you have to operate the machine yourself, but the location is very good. As soon as you go out, you will find the old town of Bayreuth. It is very convenient to various attractions.

Transiting hotel Fine transiting hotel, very easy to reach, very nice people, in the middle of the city. I would not stay there for more than 1-2 nights.

I couldn't find a campsite in Bayreuth, so I stayed at Poseidon. It was great because it accommodated four people. The location was right next to the central square, so it was perfect for a walk and a beer. I highly recommend coming with friends... But please be patient if you're coming with a partner.

It was an old hotel. Every equipment in the room was very old. TV in my room had no signal and didn't work. It was cleaned up in the room. When I checked in, a reception lady said only two times, "your name?" and "room number 17".

Old-fashioned villa and bungalow, very close to the city center, about half an hour's walk to the Festival Theater of the Bayreuth Festival. The breakfast is okay. There is usually no one at the front desk. The staff can only be seen during breakfast. It is a loose management.

Pretty comfortable rooms and great service though the rooms seem to be a bit old on the first view. But all in all a great hotel and a great price! The buffet at the included restaurant was also delicious!

Great location about five minutes walk to old city center, also conveniently located near the final resting place of Franz Liszt and the Wagner extended family if that interests you. Good hotel except they got the booking on arrival wrong so house guest and staff vigorously knocked on my door - demanded action- I went to front desk and staff embarrassed - problem fixed - parking fees waived thankyou but…… Aside from this debacle still a good hotel

Almost contactless service. Rooms are clean and everything you need is there. Nothing to complain about. Perfect for a short stay without great demands.

Checked in an hour early, the front desk reception was warm! The location is very central and convenient to everywhere! Parking 🅿️ is in the nearby P7 parking lot, very close!

As always, BB has hotels allover so it fits perfect with our overnight stays on our way south. Access code is both send on mail and shown in app if we arrive late.

My room was supposed to have a double bed, instead it was 2 single bed joined together which was very incovenient for us as it was moving.

Good stay… except the crevice! We enjoyed staying at the ApartHotel. It actually did feel like staying in an apartment. The room was spacious and clean. Our only complaint is that “queen bed” meant sleeping on two twin beds pushed together. Every time I wanted to spoon my spouse I ended up sinking into the crevice between the beds; no good. Other than that, good stay.

Attending personnel at the reception desk are not kind at ll. However rooms are find and location correct and location convenient.

We spent a week at the Heissinger Hotel for the festival. A very well maintained hotel. Spacious room (suite) with a terrace and river views. Very comfortable beds and impeccable morning service. The breakfast is excellent: quality products and plentiful. We also had a closed garage. We will definitely come back.

Very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly service and personal care from the owners and staff. The room was a good size and furnished. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the city and the Ölschnitz River. The very good breakfast with fresh fruit and plenty of coffee is an additional recommendation. The parking lot at no additional cost was also great. We would definitely like to come back.

A spotlessly clean hotel with lovely spacious rooms in the the main building. The staff were all fantastic and very friendly. Our only problem was the weird room perfume in our room. We removed it as quickly as possible, but the room still stank of it so much that we had to leave the window open the whole night.

We love this hotel. it was the second time we went to Bayreuth Festspiele and stayed here. It is very peaceful, great scenery, comfortable beds, great breakfast. You get snacks and drinks before opera and can have the transfer to the opera and back. Late-night dinner is specially organized for guests. Very much looking towards staying here again next year!

We were tucked away in the dependence where we had no view and a tiny room. But the swimming pool in the main building made up for it. The pool area was unconsciably overheated and the water measured 35 degrees Celsius.Man you could almost cook a lobster in that.Seriously, we had the pool all to ourselves and it was a godsend for my aching bursitis. Lovely family run pension. They provided information about the pension and area before our arrival, which was great. Fair priced and very nice breakfast. Also, they were kind enough to provide us with a kettle, so we were able to prepare formula for our little one without any hassle. Great cost/benefit for a beautiful area.

This is a great base for visitors to the Bayreuth Festival (why we come every year). Simple, confortable and very cheap. Also great for it's call and the many many great walks all around the forest and small mountains.

I like it here because I am Lorry driver and here with truck you can park (If you are quest in hotel) 10 min walking to the a stores and city not big but it is beautiful and calm😊. The property was very clean. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. Even though the water in the room was not hot, I would reccomend this hotel to other solo travelers.

The stay was excellent and breakfast plentiful and enjoyable It is a short 20 minutes walk into town which is just as well because in the heat or rain it is all but impossible to order a taxi even though the hotel staff tried their best. The only criticism of the hotel is that although I did not want my sheets changed daily, I would have at least wanted the bed made each day.

I wouldn't stay here in summer again, the room is unbearable and there's no Aircon. Woke up in a boiling room at 6am, great fun

A review of an overnight stay at Hotel Krone A wonderful stay at this olde worlde charm hotel. Frau Brendel makes one feel most welcome. The hotel is ideally situated diagonally across the road from the impressive basilica, 30metres from bus station and also 30metres from the (helpful) Tourist Office. The breakfast (included in the hotel tariff) was hearty.

Everything about the property was nice but the older staff member was nice but wasn’t very friendly about me not wanting to take the rest of my food with me because it would go bad before I could finish it. The young staff member girl with black hair was very helpful and understanding about my difficulties figuring out how the keys and parking worked.

Commenting on the Hotel restaurant, they serve authentic German and Bavarian food even outside of the usual tourist season. I really loved their Schäufle and their Bavarian sausages. You can order local Frankonian beer here as well if you're searching for that. Definitely a nice place to fill your stomach after hiking in the area.

Gotta say..I am pretty luck to live near this place. Siebenquell is my go to place for the winter. Enjoy the hot spring pool when the weather is below 0 degrees is amazing!! This place has it all!! 😉🤙🌟⚜

Very nice modern rooms and a great bar with a cozy atmosphere. The food in the hotel restaurant was also very good and the service was very polite. Be sure to visit the thermal baths. The sauna area is beautiful, quiet and beautifully decorated. We were delighted and would like to return.

Great place, good food, high quality and helpfully staff. However, on weekends there is no public transportation to the place. And the hotel does not offer a shuttle service to the next train station (abt. 24km).

Sehr freundliches Personal, wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Zimmer waren sauber, sehr bequemes Bett. Frühstück war auch sehr gut, man hat zusätzlich auf Wunsch noch Brötchen erhalten. Yesterday we had our summer party (company) with Josha, Edi and his team. Great great great. Delicious food, full attention in service and a great location. Can only recommend. Every Thursday there is a barbecue evening and on Sunday there is lunch. Stop by, it's worth it 😊

Good service when we checked in. The hotel and room were clean and very nice. Comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Only thing we had to go and ask for a second towel (which was no problem!), but other than that a fantastic stay!

The room was very clean and modern. Unfortunately there is no closet or dresser to store clothes. However, there was a rail with a coat hanger - right next to the bed. We didn't use it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back.
