We slept in a queen-sized bed for two nights and had breakfast, apart from that we did not spend much time in the hotel. The bed was confortable, the rooms very clean and spacious. The shower works well and is supplied with a soap dispenser, as is the sink. The breakfast was great! Everything worked well, though the price was a bit high (coming from abroad). It might be a standard price in Germany...

I have stayed here for three nights, my room was not in the main building therefore for getting the breakfast I had to grab my coat and walk. Great place to crash, we were on the road late and needed a place to stay. Pulled it up on Hotels site and saw good reviews. It did not disappoint. Clean, comfortable, nice atmosphere. One of the best hotels I visited. I had a lovely room. Eventhought I am tall and the ceiling was lower in the 3rd floor I myself quite enjoy the overnight stay. Breakfast was really yummy. :)

It's very clean and the staff is really friendly. My room had a bath tub with was wonderful. As the other guests mentioned the rooms may be lacking some comfort in a sense that I didn't feel as warm and homely as I like to in a hotel. However the rooms are spacious and provide every necessity. Please add some vegan options to the breakfast menu though.

The breakfast buffet was very good. Great selection of sausage, cheese and juice from the region. It is constantly refilled. You can sit comfortably outside and have a great view. Everything clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. Lovely again. Reservation is necessary.

How were we guests over the Easter weekend and felt very comfortable. Our family room was nice and big. The whole hotel is very clean and the entire team is very personable and friendly. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and delicious. We can confidently recommend the Berghof.

Great hotel! Very warm hosts who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We even had the sauna for private use! The host even cleaned it completely beforehand! Insanity! Lovely and established. In a great part of town, close to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Breakfast was amazing (comparing it to Hamptons and Holiday Inn quality hotels in the US. ) I think my only complaint is that there is no A.C. but that is more common in Europe than the US. With a beautiful view on the cathedral, it is very centrally located. Spacious clean rooms (more soap could be provided) and many options for breakfasts that are healthy and delicious. Because I came to this city to visit clients, the overall facilities are good and it is very quiet, especially there are office buildings on both sides, which block the road noise! ​​I stayed here for a weekend and the overall feeling was very good! Good property, close to the train station but small rooms as you can expect with Moxy. We traveled with our baby so the room was super tight with the baby bed. They ran out of bottles of water but staff are friendly and helpful so they refiled our bottles.

All in all, it's pretty okay. The rooms are furnished in a typical Moxy style, with modern decor. Just a quick note: the walls are very thin, so you can hear a lot from your neighbors. It's only about a 10-minute walk from the train station.

comfortable mattresses, curtains that close the window very well and you can sleep well. the entrance for the car is not convenient, first you need to register and then get the code for the barrier, during this time you need to leave the car somewhere. the room is small but the furniture is conveniently located.

No luggage storage was available between about 11 and 2 pm. The space below the beds was a bit dirty. Everything else was well described and alright for the price.

The facilities were clean and the station was close, so it was convenient.

For my first visit to Darmstadt, this was a great location. It's an easy walkable city with much to do. Scooteres to get out to lab where I was working and it was nice to just scooter back at the end of the day, grab dinner at one of the many restaurants on the block and relax among the people. Really enjoyed the room and accommodations.

This location is an oasis in the city center, where you can connect to any destination and return to the airport. It has everything necessary for 2 people to sleep very comfortably and wake up with all the best food and shopping options.

This is my favorite hotel and restaurant in Darmstadt. You can certainly stay at a more modern and fancier hotel than this, but the Bockshaut is right downtown, and kind of charming. The restaurant is excellent! I do indeed feel that this is the best restaurant in the city. The owner takes an interest in his guests and makes sure they are well taken care of.

I come here once a year from USA this is the highlight of my trip I look forward to it all year especially the goose around Christmas. Always get the house special you won't be disappointed. The sauce (gravy) is better than the 5 star place my wife worked at even she agrees.
