I spent four nights at Villa Ems and felt completely at home. The single room was perfectly adequate for my needs, lovingly furnished, and very clean – you can tell that the hotel has been built with passion.

The breakfast was varied and balanced – just the right start to the day. I was particularly pleased that Villa Ems has retained its nostalgic charm, which I remembered from before the renovation. At the same time, you can see the successful modernization: the owners have created a wonderful balance between tradition and contemporary comfort.
I would definitely love to come back!

We stayed there with the whole family (4 rooms) for a long weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. Everything was perfect. The manageress gave us a very friendly, personal welcome. Our wishes were taken into account, and the breakfast table was specially set for the birthday. Everyone slept well and felt at home. I definitely recommend the hotel 👍🏽

I was on the island for a short weekend trip in March and stayed in Villa Ems. Price and location were the deciding factors for me in advance. After my stay I can only say positive things. I felt very comfortable.
Located on the second floor (no elevator, but not a problem for me), overlooking the train station. You can't hear anything from outside when the window is closed. Some night owls still allow you to play “mouse” with the window open, but you can safely accept that. After all, you are in the middle of town. The single room was small but nice. Even in a very limited space, everything important was available and generally the room and the hotel were very clean. The great breakfast room is on the first floor and the breakfast there left nothing to be desired so that you could start the day well refreshed.
All in all, it was the right choice for me. Thanks for the great hospitality.

All-round successful autumn holiday in Borkum. The location of the traditional house is unbeatable - get out of the small train, cross the street once, and you get into the beautiful atmosphere of the traditional house. From here the island is easy to explore, in addition to long walks on the beach, we were also able to take part in a mudflat hike. The room was clean, well heated and had a direct view of the train station, but we didn't find it noisy. The nice owner gave us good tips for shops and restaurants. The breakfast was fresh and varied and left nothing to be desired.
At the beginning of next year there will be renovations - but please not too much, this house has its very own charm. We would love to come back.

There were wonderful days in the Villa Ems. You can't beat the location. The tourist train stops right at the hotel, restaurants and shops are right in front of the door and the promenade is less than two minutes.
The new owner is super friendly, we felt immediately welcome. The atmosphere is very informal and the breakfast is just great 👌 and on Sundays there was even more choice than already .. Really great 🔝 We were completely satisfied and are looking forward to coming back after the renovation 👍

If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, then you have come to the right place at Villa Ems. The hotel is very centrally located, right by the small train station. From here you can reach everything in a few minutes, be it the beach, restaurant or shops. The situation cannot be topped with that.
The rooms are clean, the staff and the owner very friendly and courteous and the breakfast rich and tasty. At all times, I felt welcome as a guest. I will book this hotel again next year

Very nice hotel. Lovingly furnished, clean with a good breakfast and friendly staff. Very good location. The only small drawback, there is no elevator.
