Breakfast is good, but only filter coffee from the pot for no extra charge. Staff are sometimes not very service-conscious, parking costs 3 euros per day despite large open spaces

It was very clean with very good decor, the room was extremely comfortable and high specification. The breakfast was unbelievable, best I’ve experienced in a while, there was definitely something for everyone’s taste

We are very satisfied! The entire team is friendly, helpful and always in a good mood and gives the guest a wonderful holiday feeling.

4-star-plus standard is not achieved, wellness/sauna/swimming area is good, but not accessible in rain and weather, bathrobes are provided, towels are not sufficient

one starter: very good combined cold, coconut-orange soup with a hint of chilli. The Service was very good, friendly, good eye for special needs. the small restaurant had a cosy atmosphere with upper end decoration

We can recomend the the "Bio" organic Restaurant as exelent. As main, we had a combination of chanterelle and filet of pork on rice. second main: wild salmon, on herbed kohlrabi with sesame couted potatos

Unfortunately we experienced some "technical" problems so we had to wait very long and some meals were not prepared properly. The other dishes were perfect though, especially the fish

Super cozy Biergarten Nice hotel and super cozy Biergarten. Only negative feedback is that the staff hardly understand/speak English and all menus are only available in German.

Overall the dinner problems dropped an otherwise 5 star rating to "only" 4 stars. Still I'd recommend the place and go there again myself

This hotel has been partially remodeled adding a winter Garten and a bigger dinning salon. But we know better its restaurant. Whenever we go to Burg first lunch /dinner is in Bleske restaurant

Good rooms, friendly employees. Only when the restaurant is busy one can come across as overworked because of the large groups they receive. So ask for a time when it is quiet.

Beautiful place in the heart of Spreewald. Very helpful and friendly staff. Gurken Museum is next to the hotel. Very relaxing and quiet place surrounded by the canals. 5-10 minutes walk to the town

Our friends had a wedding here, everything was top notch! Friendly personnel, the owner was extremely helpful and made everything uncomplicated and memorable.

Sauna also costs extra per guest to use. My partner's mattress was concave causing her back pain (first time for her in any hotel; my mattress was fine). Other than that: generally good service

Two Alaskans traveling in Germany. The hotel and in fact the whole town is not geared for American tourists. But that's okay, everyone we met was friendly and helpful and tolerated are very limited German

We ate several outstanding meals at the gasthaus attached to the hotel. Much of the food is locally sourced including the pork and beef. It was all top quality, very well prepared very well presented

If you get the chance to spend some time in this off the beaten path town in the Spreewald, you can't go wrong staying at the Spreewaldeck

Despite keeping the mosquito nets closed at all times, we still got bitten. The swimming pool, however, could have been cleaner. Unfortunately, we saw feces in the children's pool at one point

The room wasn’t fancy, but it had useful amenities and a well-thought-out layout that made it very functional. We were especially glad to be on the second floor

If you don't like the heat, you need to keep the door open, which gives everybody access from the garden to your room. Hope you can relax when you sleep. Before 6am, the lawn sprinkler went off

The Lounge next to the entrance is a good place to have a cold Beer After Work, even though that is quite expensive

We felt comfortable in the clean room and we also liked the good and tasty breakfast, the staff friendly and attentive. The old town and the Spree can be reached quickly on foot. We would book the hotel again at any time

We decided on this hotel in advance of our short break and were not disappointed; Booking and check-in went smoothly. At the friendly reception we received information about the place and a map of the city

This would be up there with the best places I have stayed in though out the world as far as value for money goes, remember this is a four star hotel so it is not your glamorise hotel as far as ambiance goes, though it is very comfortable all the same with staff that make the difference in this hotel along with it's central location

They were older bikes but seemed well maintained and were good for this purpose. Overall the Sorat helped make our visit to Cottbus a highlight of our German travels. A home away from home in a delightful region and town

Unfortunately, one rarely sees such courteous, attentive and entertaining hosts in the hotel industry! We felt very comfortable and the breakfast was more than plentiful and every day there were many small, tasty surprises waiting for us

Not to mention the lovely husband and wife owners that went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was the last night our trip and it made it very special. We'll definitely stay again if we come back to Lubbenau!

Excellent hotel! Beautiful and great room, great views and great staff. No AC IN THE ROOM! Only a cooling system. Asparagus and food were excellent . You must go on a kayak excursion through the river! Totally worth it!

It was okay, the prices were a bit high and there wasn't much choice on the card but the food was good.

I have absolutely no objection and endorse the arguments of britta fruit completely. the steaks were a perfect cooking point. everything was very fresh and well gewürtzt. the only drawback: tomato soup from the bag
