Lindner Congress Hotel Cottbus in Cottbus

Location is very Central in the Cottbus city centre. A modern ambience in the Lobby and Restaurant but unfortunately not quite in our room (Suite) 10. If reflected, the two rooms not a flower or a homely atmosphere were the 4stars are set up correctly, but unfortunately, very unloving, stubborn, a conference hotel room. Several small hairs on the white bed linen, small darker spots on the towels (not with the hotel cleaning check) the maid, the dust wipe on Cabinet and doors. When you open the small window in the bedroom of Dirt broke and fell on the window Board Inside. The views over Cottbus was very nice and invited on the larger window sills to stay, the bathroom was very well Equipped, a very beautiful corner bath and large shower, a very neat fitting. The staff was very Attentive and friendly, the Breakfast buffet lacked a rich but very confusing since it was a little labyrinthine,unfortunately, the sausage and cheese varieties the signs. Everything looked very fresh and tasty, unfortunately, the Obsalat was a "finished product" from the cooling chamber. All in all, a pleasant stay.

We were in the context of a birth day at the Lindner for Brunch. Since we arrived a little later, there was the difficulty that the children's buffet was not to see ad hoc. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of the fact. Another guest saw our child, which was overwhelmed with the food for the adults and pointed us to this. A question to the cheese buffet was answered by an Apprentice a little awkward"". A birthday guest of our round had immediate Feedback on a children's buffet, located in the Apple Station. This, in turn, led to an immediate conversation with the Chef de Rang (our guess). We felt with a little distance, about talking, a little caught off guard, which also shows the response of the objectionable things. For Brunch: The selection was fine. The dishes were immediately refilled. The quality of this was not objectionable. However, we would have liked more selection at the cheese buffet (only one type of cheese) and maybe a slightly faster Service in Clearing the plates cut, (it is uncomfortable to stack the plates independently, and to wait on the Service, if the table is full).
A further note would be that the permanent presence of a cook in the skin dishes. We and other guests had to wait several times for a few minutes, what but was excused in the case of only 4 or 5 courts should handle.

All in all, we were satisfied, but slightly annoyed that you have to seemingly be on time to enjoy the "full" Service"". Ultimately I am the paying guest, it is not interested what time is this Brunch was opened and with what ceremonial. The workforce is the responsibility of the hot "later," coming, guests also welcome, such as the "on-time".

The Bar was about 30 Persons. occupied. The older lady as a waitress was trying, but completely overwhelmed. If the not working Bar, for the "nightcap" out of the water is also sparkling wine, wine and Beers in the mini bar. In addition, the guest must be able to expect from a Viersternehoten more flexibility. If I should Lindner visit once again, I have drinks in the trunk.

My Suhl friends who also were staying at the Hotel, test emnächst Lindner in Leipzig. Since I know this Hotel and recommended, I'm very excited, whether it is in Cottbus only to "phenomena in the edge area", and Leipzig, the old quality shows.
