Have eaten here very tasty lunch, there was a free soup of the totally friendly service. The prices are cheap, there is even a small glass of delicious white wine (0,1) for 1€ ?.
I as a vegetarian haven't eaten a baked potato with chanterelles. My friend pork medallions with hash Browns and a homemade, delicious mushroom-cream sauce.
We can recommend the "Old Post" and we will come in any case again here.

Food was very good!
The ambience is also great (cozy and beautifully Rustic)!
However, the young waiter should take an example in the case of his colleague, what is the Care for the guests. Nevertheless, we were served friendly and the place is generally recommend.

Older, authentic and cozy Hotel. Very dear and friendly staff. Varied and delicious buffet Breakfast. Rooms are bright and friendly furnished. Older people should get a room in the lower floors because the staircase could be in the white guest house may be too steep. You can also dine in the wonderful here. Very tasty. The carpet should perhaps be at the next renovation due to little maintenance, easier to replace, since dogs are also welcome guests.

The offer the food Was tasty, okay. Also the price-performance ratio is in order. Only the cumbersome and somewhat strange nature of the reservation"policy" has surprised. A table, you could not reserve only for indoors, for outdoors. On demand whether you can change to the specified time, possibly even outside if anything should be free was answered in the negative, since you would block inside a table""...(????)

The "Alte Post" is a secret tip for all who want something authentic, excellent food, attentive service. The Central location next to the Church, 150 m away from the pedestrian area, allows, even in the absolute low season a beautiful holiday. Hotel is especially suitable for aged couples! We will definitely be back!

I was accommodated in the guest house, it was like a Mini Suite. Hallway, Bathroom, Living Room. Very comfortable. A small balcony with associated furniture. Nothing to complain about, only the carpet should be replaced or ground to be cleaned. In the evening a beer in the bistro at the front Desk (not busy) was difficult. Operation zero. So long walk to the Restaurant and order there. The second Time the same thing: a deduction of points. The Breakfast buffet was ok, everything was there,but not outstanding. Price /performance for this time of year is totally ok

Living in the next building. Had booked four days at the Hotel zur Alten Post. Accommodation in the Annex building on the other side of the street. Access was tight, dark and dirty. The stairwell smelled very musty. Room was on the ground floor on the street side.(no quiet), the rooms smell like in the stairwell.The joints in the bath/shower were moldy. A hair dryer hang on the hook for a washcloth.Outlet was not there. Despite immediate complaints, nothing was done about it.Supposedly no rooms free.Trip was canceled due to health reasons, a day earlier. Food: The tomato soup on 1. The evening was cold to lukewarm; the fish was dry; Breakfast: corn bread rolls were hardly refilled,scrambled eggs was cold. Parking: The area for Parking was too small. This is not a solicitation

Excellent Service, attentive and courteous.
The dishes were nicely done and of very good quality. The device is very
cozy. Here the price performance ratio is right. We were very satisfied and will visit Locally.
