Nice comfy hotel to crash few nights. Spend almost a week until I find a long term accommodation in Chemnitz. I was satisfied with the cleanliness and the friendly staff.

I had good experience with this hotel. Personnel was nice, she let me charge my phone for free and use WI-FI. My car was broken. So for me it was like refuge and place to be sad for couple hours.

The staff is great, rooms are ok, but I would never stay here again because the wifi is terrible. I depend on it as an international traveler.

Parking lot was always crowded and sometimes no spot was left. The bathroom is rather small. It's noisy because the main street goes by the hotel.

Very friendly staff, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Theres even bottle of water in room and a little cookie. Theres TV and Wifi. Hotel is near highway but i didnt even noticed it, it was quiet at night and i was sleeping well. Theres elevator there too. Recomending it.

Amazing view over Chemnitz from 17th floor. I much enjoyed the stay in the remarkable hotel, knowing the building from my childhood days, it's always been a small dream to stay there. Breakfast in the Panorama restaurant in 26th floor was awesome, too. Thumbs up! I'll be back 👌😁

It was ok. Average breakfast. Room was nice. Nice view and location. To small parking place in the front of the hotel. Beware of birds - parking is under the trees.

I traveled from Japan to Germany and I stayed this hotel 3 years ago. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was nice and you can see the whole view of Chemnitz from 26th floor dining. There is information about this hotel in German, French and English there.

Nice hotel to stay. But the fitness club is totally empty, only one treadmill. I didn't have a membership card so had to pay for wifi everyday. Though the wifi had very poor signal in room. Staffs are very helpful and speaks English.

A friendly welcome at reception with a quick check-in, followed by the lift to the 15th floor. The very dated and tired looking room added to the overall impression of the interior decor of the hotel. Average hotel. Very small rooms, small bathroom. Free Internet and sauna is the only plus. Has its own paid Parking.

The hotel is located on the 5th & 6th floor of this centrally located building directly at the tram stop. Very convenient, quiet and modern. The breakfast was good and service super friendly.

Pretty good Hotel from inside but very hard to locate parking, for those who stay here, Parking for the hotel is on first floor of Johannesplatz, Rooms are good. Breakfast has pretty nice collection of food choices. I would book again

Great location, nice big clean rooms, minimal service, urban/business hotel. Right in the heart of the "downtown" shopping area. Around the corner from the wonderful Archeology Museum. Lots of restaurant choices. Parking is confusing, with limited parking spaces on site. Several large parking garages with one or two blocks of parking.

The location of the hotel is great, directly at the city center, very close to shops and restaurants. The views from the bedrooms in the front side are great BUT they are facing the west side so if it's sunny and hot, the room can easily become a sauna in the afternoon. That was exactly the case at my arrival. And since the rooms do not have air conditioning, you can just try to ventilate by opening...

A nice hotel. Everything is clean. The service is friendly. They have a nice bar. You can park your car in the car park close by. Prices are fair

Nice Room and services. The Bed is comfortable and the Room is clean It has a nice location Carry your card with you otherwise you'll not be able to move in the hotel.

We ate here in the beer garden and it was delicious. Service is friendly. Location is currently under renovation, that's why one point less, because toilet use is only possible to a limited extent.

Nice location in Chemnitz to practise tennis, table tennis, bowling, ... all equipment can be rented there and no subscription are needed. The personal is also nice and helpful.

Lovely little hotel a bit far from the city center. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Arrived a bit after the reception closed (19:30), but luckily the owner arrived in no time. Parking was free, breakfast wasn't.

Hurry comfortable, the people inside are very warm; the weekend also will ask do you want to go, on the way can bring you; from the railway station and 10 minutes from the bus station is 5 minutes away; if it is in Hohenstein near to work, can stay here.

Very nice hotel with great rooms. The beds are your typical soft hotel beds but I like them. The breakfast buffet was nice and we got fresh coffee. It was small because there was only 1 other room occupied with us but if we needed anything we could ask and it was delivered. The staff was very nice. The city centre wasn't far and restaurants were all around. Sadly we couldn't try the hotel's restaurant...

It is excellent in terms of cleanliness and everything is well cleaned. I stayed for a total of two nights and when I entered the room the heater was off and the window was open and the room was very cold and also as usual in Germany the heater was turned off at night. So I spent the first night in a very cold room, and even the second night the room was still not well warm. I think it is better...

Nice surprise, alghough small room in size (individual), comfort and details are presented, from tv to wifi, local newspaper, bathroom small too but well equiped including mirror for close-look shaving. Ok for a budget stop. Beds are comfy and clean. Aside from the breakfast (cold cuts looked a bit dodgy), there was nothing to complain about. Very friendly staff

OK budget hotel. Nice receptionists. The walls are very thin so sounds from people in the stairs and in other rooms woke me up in the morning. And the curtains don’t close light out so gets light when sun is up. But alright hotell for the price

The hotel is located near town centre, the staff is really friendly. The food is wonderful. ***** A big minus is that you have to pay additional fee for breakfast. And also room is a bit pricey for what you get. ***

A nice, clean hotel in Chemnitz. It was a comfortable size room and the bed was comfortable. They had breakfast but I didn't have it any of the mornings.

A lovely Hotel. I was in a Deluxe room and it was spacious and very clean. I would also not go as far to say it was expensive. The breakfast had a large enough selection, but the breakfast room was really rather crowded.

Still a good place, however, the ongoing renovations are overdue. But friendly staff and great location.

View from the room was beautiful, bed was extremely soft. There was a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet, but the quality was unfortunately pretty bad. I expected more for 17 Euros for breakfast.

The rooms are very big and very clean. A very nice bathroom which is not missing anything. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast coffee is one of the best hotel coffee's I had! Only 4 stars because the free Internet is so slow that even Google takes very long to load and because I find breakfast (which is very rich) very expensive (17 euros/day). Parking is the same price 17€/day.

Good Hotel, nice rooms and great Breakfast. Unfortunately, even the Premium WiFi allows only one device and it sucks a bit that you have to log in again the Wi-Fi new, if you had to leave the Hotel. But otherwise it was a pleasant week

Hotel Amber is situated in an industrial park and is mostly visited bij business people. It serves An outstanding breakfast but the rooms nead an upgrade.

Typical Business room, clean, tidy and appropriately furnished. The Breakfast buffet is varied, fresh and something for everyone should be. Small drawback, the absence of it is yogurt or cottage cheese to cereal. The bathroom is clean, but something in the years come. The staff is very friendly and around the guest anxious.

A nice Hotel for super Events. As an event Agency, we have organized in collaboration with the Team of Amber a communicative network meeting body. Came to the office Golf club tournament about 30 entrepreneurs to a easy network in the evening. The meeting rooms are class, the cuisine is excellent and the Team is full of ideas and knowledgeable. I lodged in this hotel for just 1 day during an international conference at the University of Mittweida. It's location is great; just about 5 minutes walk from the main train station. The hotel services including room facilities and breakfast we're all great. However, the wifi reception in my room was poor and the receptionist just told me they can't do anything about it. Staff are friendly and the room was big. The bsthroom was little too small, specially in the shower! The room has no fridge which is wierd.

Very nice and traditional Hotel with the typical "German hospitality" . The breakfast was not as full as praised in their website and the coffee one of the worst I haveever had in Germany. The restaurant menu was very poorwith very few dishes but the quality was not bad.

Great place to spend the night. I have sent several of my business partners to spend the night here when they come out for meetings or other events. We often meet up at the restaurant on the night before to catch up and enjoy the nice food and beer.

We celebrated our wedding in this locality. Despite a rough start, as the planning is still in its infancy, we were at the end very satisfied. The staff was always friendly and engaged. The Buffet in the evening and at Breakfast was faultless. Our Suite was extremely spacious and clean. Conclusion: gladly again!!

We have on 26.09. our wedding at the forest house celebrated. Already in the preparation were very advise expertly and to our needs. The wedding was a dream. We had a all-Round carefree package. Our waitress was very attentive, accommodating and very polite. The rooms were excellent! All round, we can recommend the Forester's house in Grüna.

This is the place where you wanna celebrate your wedding for sure. I would. Is so romantic and a special place. Close to the medieval castle. I love the garden and the open space available here. Architecture is also awesome, medieval style.
