Very clean and organised place.

Overall good experience, except that A/C is not available in all rooms and the room gets really hot during day. Other than that great breakfast options, nice location and friendly staff.

Former Paprika Turm, was used as a dormitory for Hungarian workers. Center at short distance, parking available. I do recommend

Nice, modern and nicely furnished hotel. The room was big, clean and tastefully decorated. On the 10th floor we had a great view. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was also very good, everything you need was there. The price and quality are good, parking is 3 euros a day, we will be back.

A good hotel in the city centre with really good value for money. The old gypsy tower, as it was once called, serves its purpose here. It's a pity that the hotel only offers dinner on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Superb location of the hotel. Karl Marx monument is just 50m from it. When you book a room on 23rd floor you expect a great view, but unfortunately, it is ruined by a rather high and small window. However, breakfast is on 26th floor and if you are lucky enough to pick the table near window, you won’t be disappointed.

I stayed in a single room. The room has even a sofa. Nice view. Really great value of money spent per night (about 53€) However, it was too warm during that night and I needed to open the window a little. The noises from clubs and pubs around there then got inside the room. Bed was too soft.

Amazing view over Chemnitz from 17th floor. I much enjoyed the stay in the remarkable hotel, knowing the building from my childhood days, it's always been a small dream to stay there. Breakfast in the Panorama restaurant in 26th floor was awesome, too. Thumbs up! I'll be back 👌😁

It was ok. Average breakfast. Room was nice. Nice view and location. To small parking place in the front of the hotel. Beware of birds - parking is under the trees.

Everything is new, little things still have to work in. Better control of room allocation. Nice staff ... all difficulties resolved quickly. .... However, something should change as soon as possible in the parking garage situation or its use !!

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip at short notice. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating!

The rrestaurant offer very delicious food for dinner, the waiters very friendly and doing a very good job. The breakfast is really good and the start at 6.30am perfect for business travels.

They are a 3star hotel. But the services they offer are most definitely 4star services,they have different themes restaurants aaand every week on Thursday italian night buffé,also brunch es and many more Also thematically designed rooms for one to 4 persons room :)

Lovely little hotel a bit far from the city center. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Arrived a bit after the reception closed (19:30), but luckily the owner arrived in no time. Parking was free, breakfast wasn't.

Rooms small but ok. Clean and functional. Bathrooms very well-maintained. Parking in front of the house.

Hurry comfortable, the people inside are very warm; the weekend also will ask do you want to go, on the way can bring you; from the railway station and 10 minutes from the bus station is 5 minutes away; if it is in Hohenstein near to work, can stay here.

Still a good place, however, the ongoing renovations are overdue. But friendly staff and great location.

View from the room was beautiful, bed was extremely soft. There was a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet, but the quality was unfortunately pretty bad. I expected more for 17 Euros for breakfast.

Great hotel friendly staff make you feel welcome

The rooms are very big and very clean. A very nice bathroom which is not missing anything. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast coffee is one of the best hotel coffee's I had! Only 4 stars because the free Internet is so slow that even Google takes very long to load and because I find breakfast (which is very rich) very expensive (17 euros/day). Parking is the same price 17€/day.

Pretty nice hotel on the castle hill in Chemnitz, around 15min walk to city center, room was quite good, nice breakfast... catering in the evening was too slow...

It is a lovely hotel and a remarkable architectural piece. Perfectly located. Great service. The only thing I do not understand is that double rooms have two single beds standing next to each other. That would be a twin room, in my understanding.

I lodged in this hotel for just 1 day during an international conference at the University of Mittweida. It's location is great; just about 5 minutes walk from the main train station. The hotel services including room facilities and breakfast we're all great. However, the wifi reception in my room was poor and the receptionist just told me they can't do anything about it. At least I expected her to...

Nice, well-kept hotel in the center of Chemnitz (Saxony). Modern rooms that leave nothing to be desired. Great place for events of all kinds. Helpful and always friendly staff. Underground car park easily accessible via the hotel via elevator. Here the guest is always in the foreground. Staff are friendly and the room was big. The bsthroom was little too small, specially in the shower! The room has no fridge which is wierd.

It's too expensive for what they are offering

Nice comfy hotel to crash few nights. Spend almost a week until I find a long term accommodation in Chemnitz. I was satisfied with the cleanliness and the friendly staff.

I had good experience with this hotel. Personnel was nice, she let me charge my phone for free and use WI-FI. My car was broken. So for me it was like refuge and place to be sad for couple hours.

The walls were very noisy and thus the night was a bit interrupted.

The staff is great, rooms are ok, but I would never stay here again because the wifi is terrible. I depend on it as an international traveler.

Hotel Amber is situated in an industrial park and is mostly visited bij business people. It serves An outstanding breakfast but the rooms nead an upgrade.

Typical Business room, clean, tidy and appropriately furnished. The Breakfast buffet is varied, fresh and something for everyone should be. Small drawback, the absence of it is yogurt or cottage cheese to cereal. The bathroom is clean, but something in the years come. The staff is very friendly and around the guest anxious.

The Hotel is very centrally located and strives to provide professional and good Service. However, all of the hotel was excellent, the Hotel is already something. The Breakfast is super. The views of the Opera is also a nice gimmick.

The hotel is located on the 5th & 6th floor of this centrally located building directly at the tram stop. Very convenient, quiet and modern. The breakfast was good and service super friendly.

Great location, nice big clean rooms, minimal service, urban/business hotel. Right in the heart of the "downtown" shopping area. Around the corner from the wonderful Archeology Museum. Lots of restaurant choices. Parking is confusing, with limited parking spaces on site. Several large parking garages with one or two blocks of parking.

The location of the hotel is great, directly at the city center, very close to shops and restaurants. The views from the bedrooms in the front side are great BUT they are facing the west side so if it's sunny and hot, the room can easily become a sauna in the afternoon. That was exactly the case at my arrival. And since the rooms do not have air conditioning, you can just try to ventilate by opening...

It's a great hotel with a really neat courtyard and grounds. The staff was really friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed my stay there.

Very nice and traditional Hotel with the typical "German hospitality" . The breakfast was not as full as praised in their website and the coffee one of the worst I haveever had in Germany. The restaurant menu was very poorwith very few dishes but the quality was not bad.

Great place to spend the night. I have sent several of my business partners to spend the night here when they come out for meetings or other events. We often meet up at the restaurant on the night before to catch up and enjoy the nice food and beer.

Very nice hotel with great rooms. The beds are your typical soft hotel beds but I like them. The breakfast buffet was nice and we got fresh coffee. It was small because there was only 1 other room occupied with us but if we needed anything we could ask and it was delivered. The staff was very nice. The city centre wasn't far and restaurants were all around. Sadly we couldn't try the hotel's restaurant...

It is excellent in terms of cleanliness and everything is well cleaned. I stayed for a total of two nights and when I entered the room the heater was off and the window was open and the room was very cold and also as usual in Germany the heater was turned off at night. So I spent the first night in a very cold room, and even the second night the room was still not well warm. I think it is better...

Nice surprise, alghough small room in size (individual), comfort and details are presented, from tv to wifi, local newspaper, bathroom small too but well equiped including mirror for close-look shaving. OK budget hotel. Nice receptionists. The walls are very thin so sounds from people in the stairs and in other rooms woke me up in the morning. And the curtains don’t close light out so gets light when sun is up. But alright hotell for the price

Fantastic hotel set in the hills the staff are both polite, professional and very friendly. The restaurant is also superb both evening meals and breakfast was perfect. The rooms have just been upgraded and very comfortable.

Nice place for having dinner or a party. The meals are good but maybe a bit expensive. The Forsthaus for sure is worth a visit.

We celebrated our wedding in this locality. Despite a rough start, as the planning is still in its infancy, we were at the end very satisfied. The staff was always friendly and engaged. The Buffet in the evening and at Breakfast was faultless. Our Suite was extremely spacious and clean. Conclusion: gladly again!!

We have on 26.09. our wedding at the forest house celebrated. Already in the preparation were very advise expertly and to our needs. The wedding was a dream. We had a all-Round carefree package. Our waitress was very attentive, accommodating and very polite. The rooms were excellent! All round, we can recommend the Forester's house in Grüna.

This is the place where you wanna celebrate your wedding for sure. I would. Is so romantic and a special place. Close to the medieval castle. I love the garden and the open space available here. Architecture is also awesome, medieval style.
