I brought a small group here for a day trip - the atmosphere was quite nice and our service friendly- the food was just ok. Not what I've come to expect from Bavaria. I had Zweibelrostbraten and the sauce tasted like Knorr's, it was a bit disappointing. One of my travelers had the pumpkin pasta again it was ok but lacked spices, just a little bland.

Stayed here for a business trip. Ideal location bring only a short distance from the Aalen train station. However, the rooms are quiet so you wouldn't even know that the train station is so close. Me and friend stay here for one night, and we are very satisfied! Very central location, only one minute to the central square. Although not a huge selection the food is awesome. Staff is very friendly and professional. Room wise it depends. They're very different. Good view but loud street, no view but quiet, no balcony, awesome balcony, a room directly into the park. At least always a surprise. Breakfast is awesome.
