Hotel is charming and breakfast was a great assortment of European and American type meals. Staff was friendly. Our room was great and the bathroom was amazing. Very large by European standards. Definitely a wonderful stay!

Surprised that it's a 4 star hotel, should be 3 star maximum, maybe it's because of the location, right in the centre of old town?

Friendly staff and great location. Old building so no elevator makes taking large suitcases difficult and lack of ac means warm rooms during day. Is quaint. And friendly staff.

Very good hotel, right at the historic city center yet easily accessible by car. While it is true that some areas within the hotel are dated and could use refurbishment, I feel that many of the bad reviews which address this fact are exaggerated. The hotel team is truly wonderful and hard working, though a bit under-staffed at peak times.

We arrived in town and there was a festival going on. The lady who runs the hotel was so friendly and explained the reasons behind the event. She is very "genial", German-meaning pleasant and personal. The room was smaller but very clean. The furniture in our room had been carved. The breakfast was great. The location was great. We will definitely stay here next time we come to town.

Fine hotel, authentic Bavarian atmosphere in the centre of Dinkelsbühl old town! Friendly, hospitable personnel. Spacious rooms, good beds. Quiet at night. A good breakfast with a wide variety of breads, toppings and drinks.

Nice, cosy and delicate boutique hotell. 3 different houses. Vi had a rom at the top with panoramic view of the city roofs. Very Nice. Nice breakfast. Will go back.

Beautiful hotel, quiet location but also close to 'downtown' Dinkelsbühl, friendly staff, awesome breakfast and a very fine attention to detail. I have stayed here three times for work and look forward to my next visit. Even though the customer (AMM) I must visit is a 45 minute drive away it is worth it.

A very modern,clean and beautiful hotel. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is amazing. They have a big variety of fruits, cereals, meat and cheese. And you can decide how you like your eggs or crepes. The only thing that I didn't like was that our food (not yet finished) was brought to the bin and the table got cleared. Great old fashioned rooms and in our double room a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The floors are slant and this ancient hotel has had royal guests such as Gustav 2 Adolf of Sweden. In the dining hall hangs paintings of the famous visitors and it is an honor to sleep in such a place. The standards are cosy but not luxurious in general. We enjoyed our stay on the main square in this quaint old historical hotel. Bernd was a very friendly proprietor and made us feel very welcome.

Very nice atmosphere, good food, quick delivery and helpful waiters. The food was lovely, well presented and quantity wise also good. I've been told the wine choice was excellent, however I stuck to Vodka Lemonade. The only thing from getting it to 5 stars is the fact they ran out of Vodka after 2 servings. This is an amazing old world hotel in the middle of Dinkelsbühl. Lots of character in this old building and you can see that throughout, including the bedrooms, which were very comfortable and spacious. A very historic hotel with well appointed too.s. Kind and courteous staff who spoke great English. The breakfast was one of the better ones we experienced while touring Germany. The dinner was excellent and our best meal of our trip! Thanks for the memories.

You will not get more authentic place than that, house from 1440, well preserve traditional building with excellent kitchen. Must visit place.

Cute, quaint, picturesque. The staff are friendly and the rooms are huge. The only negative is the Wi-Fi is really spotty...which I don't think is the hotels fault.

This comment is on their restaurant. It was our first time having lunch at the restaurant since November of 2020 before the COVID lockdown. Even though it was a little rainy and cool day, we really enjoyed our lunch at their outdoor café. Service is great, and food is very good.

I brought a small group here for a day trip - the atmosphere was quite nice and our service friendly- the food was just ok. Not what I've come to expect from Bavaria. I had Zweibelrostbraten and the sauce tasted like Knorr's, it was a bit disappointing. One of my travelers had the pumpkin pasta again it was ok but lacked spices, just a little bland.

This place makes you feel like you are back in 1600’s... Best hotel I have ever stayed. Romantic, clean, comfortable, decorated with antique furnitures... Great breakfast and hospitality. Owner is a very kind lady. Her husband is a painter. You can also enjoy his nice paintings and even buy them.

We had a wonderful two nights in Dinkelsbühl, the hotel was very endearing, close to one of the city gates and perfectly located for the sights of the city. A lovely breakfast, charming owners and the attached artist's studio completed the homely vibe. Book the four poster bedroom if you can, room No.1, a lovely room in a lovely hotel!

The restaurant: We had a good dinner there, very good service. The tipical food menu is really interesting but I'd like to had more wine options.

A lovely cosy hotel that is not far from the town centre. Room cost is not expensive, the room I had was very much old world charm with exposed beams and smaller windows but with a modern bathroom . Service was friendly and breakfast was a tasty buffet with many different choices. Bonus that everything was easily within walking distance.

Nice little hotel in this bavarian town, the clerk was very welcoming aswel as everyone working in the hotel. Breakfast was good too.

When we arrived, there wasn't any hot water. We asked about it at the reception and it was only fixed that evening. The wifi also didn't work. Overall, a good place to sleep at, but don't get your expectations to high...

A cosy hotel in the amazing town. They have a really good kitchen with some authentic food. The hotel is styled in the time period as the town. It is a comfterable and beautifully made hotel. Cannot wait to come back!!

The room was very nice and spacious, but a bit loud since it was on the ground floor. It had an "older"/"authentic" style, which I loved. The neighbors from the higher floors across the street could see into the bathroom, specially the shower so we had to turn it on first until the window got covered by the vapour. Good breakfast and friendly and attentive staff!

This is a 5 star hotel, at least a 4. Such a quaint, clean, perfectly located, quiet hotel with staff who care. Superb dinner. We loved Dinkelsbuhl. Walk around the walls and see the beautiful quaint town.

Very nice small hotel in the old town of Dinkelsbühl. Everything was in great shape. We stayed in a family suite that was spacious and very comfortable. We slept five comfortably. Super clean, practically furnished rooms. The bakery below the hotel offers a great breakfast and the city center of Dinkelsbühl is within walking distance. Check-in and check-out worked very well, I can recommend the hotel.

Clean, modern and new room. Darkening was unfortunately not entirely possible, but I had sleep masks with me.

The height adjustment of the shower is unfortunately defective in my room and the bathroom / shower floor is not really clean. Rooms are simple and modern, but everything you need is available.

Right in the centre of Dinkelsbuhl meant we were able to wander and observe the attractions of this beautiful town. The staff were friendly, and our lack of German was no problem as several spoke reasonable English. We had our evening meal and breakfast at the restaurant and both were of high quality.

We used the hotel as a stopover with two motorcycles, which can be parked in the side alley which is very handy. The staff are very helpful and pleasant and is very good value for money for Dinkelsbuhl. We had food in the evening which was very nice too. The building is old and full of charm, just as I like it, I would not hesitate to return.

Our lunch yesterday - a bit of a disappointment. To start with the salad: a good portion, lots of green salad, underneath some tasters of carrots, radish, etc. Unfortunately some of the green leaves on my plate were rather leathery and bitter. The rooms are not bad, the shower is tiny. The noice of passing cars, and the lunatic priest that thinks 6 a clock in the morning is a great time to ring the church bells long and loud are - points. Sleeping with earplugs each night is noty idea of a fun holiday. Lovely town, just wish they banned all cars..

The most lovely place to stay in Dinkelsbuhl. Rooms have modern amenities and are large enough to stay in for a few days. The bathrooms, are sufficient albeit the shower is small by US standards (1 meter X 1 meter). The beds are comfortable and the bedding warm. Very nice country inn - lovingly managed with family care and a good menu. Absolute feel-good factor with short waiting times and very good quality of the food. Very good advice and loving treatment of the guests. We felt very much at home and enjoyed watching the next generation at work.

Room was ok, with some discrepancy. Bed was automatic very good one, while rest of furniture seemed a bit old. Bathroom was ok and very clean. Good breakfast but need to improve presentation of the buffet. It's very close to the city wall, and has free parking just in front of the door
