Stayed for 1 night, before heading back to the UK. Only booked it on the day - was just looking for somewhere with a car park. Free parking outside but I opted for the secure underground parking - a bit pricey at 25 euros. Lovely room which looked like it had been refurbed recently. Fantastic bar area - great selection of drinks. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with a best buffet breakfast ever. The room we had, had a shower in the bedroom what means little privacy after you shower. A separate bathroom with toilet would have been better. We stayed for 2 nights and we had to pay €25 a day for parking underneath the hotel, what in my opinion should have been free and a courtesy of the hotel.

We stopped off for one night heading home from a European Road trip. The hotel is modern and stylish in a pleasant location, all staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the breakfast was equally as good with a large selection of food to suit everyone. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in a very nice location and has really great service. I especially write separately about the restaurant section. The service is at a high level and the staff is very friendly, fast and helpful. One name stands out here. I will come again for this person. JUSTIN. We could not be more complimentary about this hotel. I/we have been staying periodically over past few years, always on family visits. It is conveniently situated between the train station and 'downtown'. Rooms are stylish, functional and super clean, those situated in the back are particularly quiet, bright and airy; with excellent bedding, spacious (but slightly slippery) shower cubicle, efficient...

Hotel was a large franchise but was not impressed with our room would prefer a separate bathroom not as part of the living areas. Restaurant staff unfriendly but friendly with German speaking guest. Apart from these two things it was comfortable and the was good.

A nice hotel. Clean and orderly. The breakfast is great and the rooms are large and comfortable. There is a small kitchen with a minibar, kettle and sink. The bathroom and shower are a good size. Everything is furnished in a very rustic style, but still looks modern and tasteful. The only thing that should be changed is the bathroom fixtures. The shower head has had its prime. The cables for lamps...

A very cozy hotel with a special design. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. A small tea kitchen belongs to the room. We were able to lock our bicycles safely. The breakfast was varied. If you stay longer, I would make sure to get an apartment with a garden view. Otherwise you look at the parking lot and opposite is a residential building. Blinds prevent people from looking inside.

Little bit awkward not to be able tot speak to someone, but the very nice breakfast made up for that.

I was at an wedding event and I didn't sleep there but the first impressions was very good.

The hotel has a new and an old building. I stayed in the new one. The room was good and clean. The breakfast was worth the extra. Something for everybody, hot and cold, was served in the new building.The staff was professional. The restaurant is located in the old building but i haven't had a meal there. I can recommend this hotel.

Just for one night, but surprisingly cosy, great service and menu. And a great terrace for parents with children. We will be back

All dishes were made to perfection. The sliced roast beef is especially good and tender. This restaurant has room for medium to large size groups.

Rooms with no AC , just a fan to circulate the hot air , the matress was old and with broken springs , one off the worst nights i had in a long time due to the room being hot and an incredible back pain in the morning. At least the staff is nice and friendly , i fly all over the world working but this is not a hotel i will return

Right off the town centre, a few minutes walk from railway station. Private parking, charged at 12 euros per night. On site restaurant was shut down hence 4 stars.

In the center of Duren w/ free but tight parking space. Hotel clean and comfortable, probably just renovated including bathrooms. Rooms maybe hot during summer. Typical German breakfast. Worth the money.

Lovely family hotel. We’ve had a comfort room (more than enough space) with balcony and couch. Beds are good. The staff is very attending and nice. Food is excellent (breakfast & dinner). More than enough walking routes near the hotel. You could even drive to a village for site seeing or if you’re interested in WWII.

The hotel was nice enough, but the staff were never around when you needed something.

Super nice little hotel, very quiet and clean. Very warm welcome. Shops are easily accessible by car, as are restaurants for eating out. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Rather cheap category. Breakfast options could be more plentiful. Rooms on the top floor are to be avoided in summer as they are very warm. But the landlady is nice and tries hard.

I visited the restaurant for the first time. The occasion was a wedding/round birthday. The buffet was very delicious. Could have gone more often, but eventually it was enough. Other guests should also have something. 😉 A very special praise goes to the service. The ladies were more than attentive, friendly and helpful. Whoever wants to convince themselves, do it, it's worth it.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed. Very nice owner, good food and beautiful nature. The themed rooms are all unique, stayed in the witch and arabian nights themed rooms. 5/5 would always recommend.

Talk about personality! This hotel has tons of it! Friendly and social hosts and basic but nice rooms. Each room has a sci-fi/fantasy theme. Nice location with possibility for a nice morning run :-). Breakfast could be better, but for the asked price it's more than sufficient! I will most certainly stay at this hotel again.

I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Even before you get to the restaurant, the beauty of the building will take your breath away. A large house of beautiful cobblestones with wooden logs holding up the roof and walls. Stunning. The service is lovely, proactive and knows what you want before you know it. And the food... is to die for. An absolute must-to-visit if you are in the area.

Excellent place. Rooms we're very nicely furbished, clean and comfortable. The TV was a bit old, so a bit difficult to operate. High qualitiy food, with enough to chose from, even if it was a bit expensive. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location excellent for an evening walk. Would recommend if you want to stay in the area.

Very nice hotel with lots of parking places, I could park my motorcycle in a garage. The hotel has a very nice terras, not too big but good and clean rooms, a bit hot in summer times (no airco). Hotel seems well maintained. Staff was kind and food and drinks good. Hotel is just in between Vicht and Zweifall. We did an evening walk to Zweifall and back, very nice 1 hour walk. I want to come back here

Reasonable budget hotel with restaurant attached. The rooms are basic and a little dated, even the "superior rooms", which are just a little larger with a free bottle of water. The restaurant is clean and serves food quickly. The hotel does not have any air conditioning, which was a major problem when I visited during a heat wave. The staff don't speak much English, which is quite unusual in the area...

I booked a single bed but to my great surprise, I was given a double bed for no extra cost. The room was big enough, clean and cosy. The washroom was pretty good as well. But the wifi sucks big time. Very slow.

The hotel was close to the office I was visited the autobaun for travelling from the airport. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfy. Our stay at Friends Hotel was very good! The room was roomy and very clean. Not much of a decor but cleanliness is important to me. The hotel is close to busy road so with the windows open it will be very noisy. I can see it being very hot in the summertime. Fortunately for us it was a 2 comfortable evenings. The location was excellent. Three minutes from the Autobahn. Next to a petrol station. In the same building as a Chinese restaurant.

We had a lovely week at Dormio Eifeler Tor. The park itself is well maintained, has a nice pool to cool off on hotter days and also a good selection of bakery items / coffee to go for the mornings, making for a comfortable stay. For kids - ours range in age from 0 to 7 - there is plenty to do even though the park is on the small side. We made good use of the pool, the soccer cage and the two playgrounds...

All in all, quite ok experience, mainly the location, the house itself, the things to do in the resort and in the surroundings, but also quite some things to improve: - Internet quality is completely unacceptable for year 2025, having to reconnect every few minutes and then still not able to load much - The pools could use a couple of extra slides or toys for the kids, one small waterslide for 4 pools...

Great resort on the outskirts of Heimbach, with an amazing view over Hasenfeld village. Great base for cyclist ready to do some climbing (❤️ climbs to Mariawald, Schmidt, and Kermeter). The resort is very kid friendly, which, unfortunately, led us to wake up every morning around 5 AM due to crying babies 🤣. Supermarket on premises was OK, better to go to supermarkets in Hasenfeld.

The location ist very nice. A big downside for families with kids is that many guests park their cars all day and night in front of the guest houses, although this is officially not allowed. But there seems to be no enforcement of car parking rules, thus nobody makes sure, that cars stop at the houses only for un/loading and are driven to the big parking space across the road.

We had an amazing experience in this resort. There was some confusion when we arrived We arrived late, so there was a bit of waiting to get the directions cleared, but once we got into contact with the reception by phone, things were sorted out. It would have been better to have personnel at the desk at all times, but that's the system they applied. The houses are situated on a hill, so the drove down...

The location is hugged by mountains, giving a breath taking view from the balcony. The apartment is plenty of space, with bedrooms and a bathtub. Kitchen is equipped with plenty of glassware and tableware. It is a dishwasher and they give you a few tablets to use. The stove is large, and the pans and pots are enough to make a good meal. Nice hotel in a good location. I found it irritating that the reception is only open in the mornings and you get your room key via a mailbox with a code (after calling the phone number on the door). The rooms are nice and smell nice and clean.

I booked this hotel for a continuing education course. Check-in was seamless via the safe. I parked in the large parking lot in front of the hotel beforehand, but was able to reserve a free parking space on site in the morning. Good to know: If you book the parking ticket through Parkster, it's free overnight (I arrived in the evening), so I didn't have to pay anything in the end. The rooms are bright...

The hotel is located right next to the “Erft” river and is a beautiful little house with very nice brickwork from the outside. There are 3-4 parking spaces directly in front of the hotel and a larger parking area about 20 m further on, which unfortunately you have to pay for but is not expensive. The room in which a double bed and another pull-out bed was constructed in the sloping wall were very interesting...

The hotel is great. Everything is very familiar. Super nice people. Breakfast is served and there is a variety of things you can take from the buffet. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel. If it is occupied, there is a parking lot just around the corner, but there is a charge from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. I don't know the parking options for large vans, but a call there will certainly solve...

Nice and clean room, spacious bathroom, nice shower. Could park in front of the door every night. The drive to Cologne Messe is approximately 45 minutes. Breakfast is complete and delicious fried eggs are baked on request. Bottle of water in the room. Room had a total of 11 sockets, very nice :-). The receptionist was courteous and welcoming, however, the housekeeping services were severely lacking. Upon entering our assigned room, we were met with an unpleasant odor and discovered that the toilet was in an unsanitary condition, and the overall state of the room was unkempt. I promptly voiced my concerns and requested a room change, which resulted in a marginally improved accommodation. However...

The hotel was clean and excellent value for money. Basic room but does the basics very well. 10 min walk to train station and only 40 min train from köln main station. Rooms were very warm but hotel did provide a fan to help. Overall a good stay for affordable prices

Check in was problematic, could not figure out who we were or find us in the reservation. Internet was hard to log into, needed twice assistance from front desk. Rooms were large, modern, functional. Location is great in the. Idle of town.

Everything was available and a nice reception. We felt we were in good hands. The house was equipped with all things of daily life.

Good place if you're looking to stay in the area. Houses are OK. Although some more cleaning would be needed. The place is located closed to the lake and closed to highway and local transportation. Great place if you want to rest for some days and hace some walk around the area.

FC lost to BMG, but the restaurant can't do that. Was there as a tourist and found the location very comfortable. It's probably more of a local meeting point, but if you're nearby, you can have a cold drink with a clear conscience. Beer garden available. Didn't eat any warm food, so no idea what the kitchen is like.

These ladies are so good and I really can say the steaks are the best.

Excellent location not far from the motorway but in a traditional setting. Spacious,clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly staff. The restaurant was closed ( for holidays we thought) but a nearby pizzeria resolved the problem . Breakfast in the hotel was excellent.

Very cosy Hotel - excellent service and a very good restaurant - we enjoyed a very well prepared dinner. The winecard also present German wines - which was highly appreciated. The breakfast is good and you can be served a very nice egg fresh from the farm. A nice stay.

An excellent hotel with all the amenities you could wish for. The restaurant was obviously very well liked in the village as most patrons seemed local - always a good sign! Their sun terrace was marred a bit by the digging work being done in the streams just beneath. That didn't stop me from spotting both a heron and a couple of kingfishers just a few metres from where I was dining! The room was modern...

Pure and undistilled pampering. A fine selection of drinks, gregarious waiting staff and mouthwatering seasonal dishes that are fresh and house-made served in a cosy setting. I came here expecting good food but my expectations were surpassed by a wide margin. 10/10 would go again.

Best dinner we had during our stay in Eiffel, sitting in the evening sun on their terrace. I would recommend Iberico pork chops with caramelised onion and rosmary potatoes. But everything that came past us looked really good, and a bit more polished than most restaurants in the surrounding.

We had a lovely meal at Friedrichs restaurant but I cannot comment on the hotel facilities. The hotel is situated overlooking a stream. Its such a picturesque location food good too. You can eat inside which is good if you dont want the attack of the flies whilst being outside. This happened as soon as the food appeared and spoiled the ambience for me.

This hotel is tip top and a real pleasure to stay at , I stayed here for two nights and found it to be very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The lady in reception was particularly friendly , I seem to remember her farther was English and she was very kind and helpful. Ps sorry about hitting two stars earlier !!! I was just scrolling down the page and boom of went two stars where my finger touched...
