We stayed at the Alekto for one night and were very satisfied. The hotel is centrally located yet quiet. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was also excellent—varied and good.

The room was big and nice but the shower was a problem as it wets the whole bathroom, making it a mess. It is conveniently located near the train station and a small mall.

The room was clean and the single bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean. You have a hair dryer, shower gel and shower cap. Staff was very friendly and helpful

much of the Hotell is made new ( e. My room ) in some corners is built for the field, but only if you pay attention to it. The food was down-to-earth good and also at a good price

My Conclusion: absolutely to recommend even if there are small points for improvement

Lovingly privately run hotel with great food in the evening. Unfortunately, Corona breakfast is not that great. Rooms are good and functional. Unfortunately, my room was facing the street and therefore noisy for me.

Great hotel, room was a bit small but there will also be larger rooms available. Shower tap was difficult to regulate, a more modern thermostatic tap is actually necessary

Breakfast was well presented and more than enough

Everything was good,clean. A little bit waited for entering hotel room. Bed was not comfortable because of soft pillows and mattress. But it had very nice place for children, small farm with animals.

Good hotel and service and clean

So one side of the room had slanted walls with big push out windows. (Felt like we should have been in an old inn in a village. Restaurant was good and packed. Waited a longer than normal time for our food

It was a good location for us as,we had a car. So popping into Dresden was very easy to do. It was in the top of the building where the roofs come together

However the bathroom was roomy with a good shower, and the bed was surprisingly soft and we slept well

I didn't really know where the sauna and other extra things were. There is 3 building and you need to move outside between them. The breakfast was in an other building

This place is amazing!! We left Holland to support Ukraine with food, clothing and medicin. After allmost e days of barelly sleeping we arrived here 5:30AM

We could sleep untill 12 and leave at one and still pay for only one night. Thanks to the lady (who spoke very good English as well) for helping us when we had nowhere else to go

The hotel was centrally located to allow us to drive to Seiffen - about 10 minutes away. The room was very comfortable and the views from the top floor of the castle were excellent

Schloss Purschenstein has an excellent restaurant, with delicious food and generous portions, and a maitre d with a warm and jovial personality

We got the best room in the castle the suite and the room was big and beautiful. They have a sauna and pool then the big hall room where you have breakfast. Some of the staff was not friendly but the place was amazing

The barrel vaulted cellar of the main tower has been converted to a small swimming pool with outside sun terrace (or snow terrace in winter) and there is a sauna and a steam bath as well, although the steam bath was out of service when we stayed

This family-run hotel has excellent cuisine, an excellent breakfast buffet, very friendly and attentive staff, and a consistently helpful manager. If something is missing from the buffet, it is immediately replenished

We ate at the restaurant 2 out of 7 days, which means it was very good. The burger and the hirschbraten are definitely to try for any non-vegitarians.

Were there as motorbike travelers and hikers. Were (even after late arrival) always well and tasty taken care of and had rooms that lacked neither charm nor comfort. Booking absolutely uncomplicated

We were a week a guest in the noble crown. We have felt ourselves very well. The room was not too big but totally sufficient. The furniture was modern and the beds very comfortable

I went to dinner with the family. The food was delicious, the side salad was fresh and the service was very nice. The detour to get there is definitely worth it.

Of course there are a few small things here and there that are getting old or in need of repair, but this has little or no effect on the comfort and feel-good factor and, given that the focus is now naturally on the newly furnished hotel, it is understandable and is justifiable

Very nice country hotel, in a quiet cul-de-SAC. Beautiful views over meadows and the cows from the large terrace. Clean, cozy rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a very good Breakfast buffet

Great small family hotel with a panoramic view of Dresden. Unfortunately only until the end of 2018. Then the company will expand and, at first glance, in a not so quiet, rural and romantic area in Bannewitz

Doesn't matter for now, though, in terms of the current rating. The hotel has cozy rooms with cozy furnishings. The furniture is hand-carved (four-poster beds and side cabinets) and the rest is passable too

We like that this historic was rescued from decay by an extensive renovation in the mid 1990's. We loved having a bath tub as well as a shower. We loved the big comfortable bed. We loved the location in the town centre

We did get a call from hotel around that time and they gave instructions on what to do- but the whole situation was strange. Breakfast was very very very good- all of high quality, good choice

Stayed just for night on the way to Berlin. The hotel is right in the center of the city- we had issue finding a way to drive close to it, in the end we parked few minutes walk which was okay for us

My wife and I were in February ,arrived a little early at 7: 00 am,at the reception quickly place things put into the Luggage storage and went for a walk in Dresden. Good helpful staff,excellent Breakfast

Great Hotel, very Retro. Anders was an all-around good, there is only a little bit of free hotel Parking.

The only negative point is the slow wifi. After all, it is free of charge. As the Internet is, in my experience in German Hotels are almost always a big disappointment - it is also "only" average poor

Inconspicuous from the outside, the location is very convenient, the train station is right opposite. We recommend a room facing the courtyard as it is much quieter. Bathroom is modern and very thoughtfully designed

Stunning panorama from where it earned it's name, superb rooms and tasty food, perfectly situated on the outskirts of the famous "wooden toy town" Seiffen.

We had booked via a voucher (Jochen Schweizer ) a Night. The food (Breakfast and Three-course evening meal ) we had to book ,it would have been according to the book (Jochen Schweizer) 55 euros

I had asked for a different Appetizer to the waiter, he has also ,unfortunately, a different operation then came and brought the Appetizer (unfortunately, the tomato ) is very bad

For 20 euros per Person we would have imagined something else ,too simple for the money

Hotel Goldenes Fass is a very beautiful SPA oasis with different saunas and relaxing areas. The room what I ordered had a bath top with whirlpool. Comfortable bed and everything was clean

The difficulty is the drive getting to Seiffen. For us it was one hour of country roads one way and about an hour leaving heading to Erfurt. This hotel was wonderful and great value!
