A place to switch off, relax and feel good. Varied wellness area with many oases of peace and a great roof pool with a very nice view. The culinary selection of dishes also invites you to indulge. I would love to come back and look forward to the next time.

It is a very nice hotel with a lovely staff, but.. 300 EUR/1 night/2 persons is ridiculously expensive: average (but clean) room, lunch and dinner is nice but not special (for the price), not so nice area at saunas. Great breakfast, great restrooms, lovely cats:)

Beautiful location, great food and a super attentive and friendly Stoiber family who want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. There were two of us with our dogs for 4 days. A varied breakfast and salad buffet for evenings, as well as a very attractive offer as part of the half-board. Great hiking trails can be reached directly from the hotel.

Class Hotel with great location/view. The reconstruction and enlargement has increased on the whole, both in terms of the top equipped rooms and the Fitness / Spa area. The new menu is also a MUST-see for all who want to eat well.

Wonderful 3 days we spent here. Great Location. Very friendly staff and a family atmosphere have ensured that we felt completely comfortable and cared for. Our room with a fantastic view. The panoramic swimming pool and the large Spa area made for relaxation and the food was great. We will definitely come back again. Absolutely to recommend!

The Hotel forest schlößl is unique in what relates to the family atmosphere. The rooms are top notch. The culinary delicacies in the Hotel as well as in the newly established forest lounge enchant every palate. The Spa area is beautiful and the new pool invites guests to Relax. All in all, Top!

The private and very personal touch are great! Rooms are clean and comfortably equipped. This lovingly compiled Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired! You can look forward to the expansion in the fall!

What should you say or write! I can't think of anything negative to report. I would need a lot of time to mention the many positive aspects and the list would be forever long. Maybe just so much, next year you are back in the Bavarian Forest and our accommodation is already fixed. It can only be the Arracher Hof! Excellent Price/Performance Ratio. Beautiful rooms - very nice family - great stay room nice beer garden - great location. The only drawback: to recommend half Board for vegetarians. Very nice hosts, very accommodating and friendly. The children had a lot of fun with the many farm animals and driving the tractor. The daily feeding was always a highlight. The farm is a very good starting point for activities and excursions. Everything is easily accessible in town. Thank you again for the beautiful days on your farm.

Very nice hosts and a cozy, small farm with opportunities for children to learn/practice how to deal with animals. The smallest apartment was very comfortable and clean. No complaints! We'll be happy to come back sometime :) it was an unforgettable holiday in beautiful Lower Bavaria.

We had the wood room for 6 days at the end of August including half board. The boss and her son were very good hosts, we felt very comfortable with them! Very good and varied dinner, as well as a very good breakfast buffet. The hotel is very well maintained and everything is very clean. We can only agree with the very good reviews. Lovely again!

A place to really enjoy the peace and quiet. A very warm welcome and goodbye. The order cannot be surpassed, the rooms are very tidy and nothing is missing. We have been vacationing in the Bavarian Forest for over 40 years. And every time there is a meal at the Rappenhof on the agenda. It's one of those old characterful hotels with a huge dining area on the ground floor and the guest rooms above. The Rappenhof is in a quiet location despite good connections. Stayed here for new years eve in the beautiful Bavarian forest. The hotel is not an old castle even if some rooms or an outside view from one angle looks like one. The hotel consists of a main building and some satellites. Some of those are connected by underground tunnel walkways. Some of the satellites like our 4 flat house are rather old and you must walk outside quite a bit to reach the Restaurant...

Nice hotel located in a tiny village in Bavaria near the border or czechia. The rooms are nice but I could not use the shower properly because of the roof. There is WiFi but you have to pay for it and you can only use it in the lobby and restaurants which is a downer. Besides that the food is okay. The breakfast is very geman and dinner is a buffer with also mostly typical geman food that goes well...

You can only find the new sauna area if you ask around. It is poorly described as you have to go through the old sauna area. The outdoor pool is wonderful, the indoor pool is very noisy with many children and you can hardly swim. Dinner is great! With 4 stars one expects liquid soap and conditioner. Too bad this was missing.

The hotel consists of several buildings, which are all connected to each other, but result in relatively long distances. The staff is extremely friendly, cleanliness is spotless. We traveled with our granddaughter to the hotel the rooms are clean and taken care of and the hotel staff were all very nice and helpful.

Unfortunately we could not use the sauna because it was always occupied and there were no appointments. The breakfast buffet was very good and varied. At dinner the desserts were too powerful for me.

The food is excellent and the location is great! The people that run the place are very friendlly. Nice beer and a very nice terrace! On weekends they were cooking their specialities in a wood fire! Very clean and quiet! The area is wonderful! Prices are very good for the services they offer! If you go to Neukirchen, have a stop there!

We went around 8:00pm and it was a short menu so hard to tell how good this place can be. I just got German potato salad which was average grocery store quality. I did taste the sausage and it was good. This place accommodates groups well and is a nice atmosphere right near the museum in NeuKirchen.

Our stay was wonderful, the boss was very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The hotel is wonderfully decorated, old fashioned and modern at the same time, we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was also very lovingly prepared and left nothing to be desired, as was the room. The surroundings were also great and invited to go hiking :)

The decor may not be the latest, but it is very clean. But every wish is met. Food is good and plentiful, and there is still cooking on a wood stove. The landlords, especially the boss, are very nice.

The Hotel-Gasthof Zum Bach offers tasty dishes in the rustic and beautifully decorated vaulted restaurant. The rooms are nicely furnished and correspond to the standard. We have always felt very comfortable and have already spent two short breaks there. The hotel itself is calm and comfortable. Rooms are nicely renovated and the location is nice. The only negative thing was the service, as we felt quite unwelcome from the second we arrived until we left. These things are highly subjective, but the person serving us (who we believe was the owner) was rude and unfriendly. Why? We do not know.

Very good facilities, friendly staff (although they speak a very poor English, they were trying to help). I'd say this is perhaps the best hotel in the city. The restaurant is open until later than other guesthouses in the area. A menu in English would be helpful.

Room was clean, breakfast quite good and variate. Omelette and warm food missing. Decent coffee tough. Only the boss is speaking English. The value for the money was good and I will return if I will need to visit that location again.

No local beers. Food was better than expected and quite a lot. Waitress was very unfriendly. Three stars mainly for the food and price. Typical bavarian food with a twist. Schnitzel filled with camenbert for example. Interior is part fancy part oldschool.

Beautiful hotel with a swimming pool, all inclusive from breakfast and lunch to afternoon coffee and cake and a hearty dinner with nice people in the evening in the bar, everything is there, not far from the Czech border, interesting for shopping!

The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. There are lovely hikes in the surrounding area, and there's plenty to do for children. The rooms are clean and functional. We had a terrace. The pool was 28°C and the whirlpool was 32°C. Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style. Drinks are free. Everything was excellent.

A great short trip. The room and food were top-notch. We lacked nothing. The meal times meant there weren't any crowds at the buffet. We used the indoor pool every day. Excursion tips are available at reception. We especially enjoyed the various activities for the kids, including cotton candy, magicians, and more.
