Class Hotel with great location/view. The reconstruction and enlargement has increased on the whole, both in terms of the top equipped rooms and the Fitness / Spa area. The new menu is also a MUST-see for all who want to eat well.

Very nice Hotel with very nice rooms and, above all, of course, the new suites! The Mix of rustic and modern, in my opinion, perfectly realized! Wonderful 3 days we spent here. Great Location. Very friendly staff and a family atmosphere have ensured that we felt completely comfortable and cared for. Our room with a fantastic view. The panoramic swimming pool and the large Spa area made for relaxation and the food was great. We will definitely come back again. Absolutely to recommend!

The Hotel forest schlößl is unique in what relates to the family atmosphere. The rooms are top notch. The culinary delicacies in the Hotel as well as in the newly established forest lounge enchant every palate. The Spa area is beautiful and the new pool invites guests to Relax. All in all, Top!

The hotel itself is calm and comfortable. Rooms are nicely renovated and the location is nice. The only negative thing was the service, as we felt quite unwelcome from the second we arrived until we left. These things are highly subjective, but the person serving us (who we believe was the owner) was rude and unfriendly. Why? We do not know.

Very good facilities, friendly staff (although they speak a very poor English, they were trying to help). I'd say this is perhaps the best hotel in the city. The restaurant is open until later than other guesthouses in the area. A menu in English would be helpful.

Room was clean, breakfast quite good and variate. Omelette and warm food missing. Decent coffee tough. Only the boss is speaking English. The value for the money was good and I will return if I will need to visit that location again.

No local beers. Food was better than expected and quite a lot. Waitress was very unfriendly. Three stars mainly for the food and price. Typical bavarian food with a twist. Schnitzel filled with camenbert for example. Interior is part fancy part oldschool.

We had the wood room for 6 days at the end of August including half board. The boss and her son were very good hosts, we felt very comfortable with them! Very good and varied dinner, as well as a very good breakfast buffet. The hotel is very well maintained and everything is very clean. We can only agree with the very good reviews. Lovely again!

A place to really enjoy the peace and quiet. A very warm welcome and goodbye. The order cannot be surpassed, the rooms are very tidy and nothing is missing. We traveled with our granddaughter to the hotel the rooms are clean and taken care of and the hotel staff were all very nice and helpful.

Unfortunately we could not use the sauna because it was always occupied and there were no appointments. The breakfast buffet was very good and varied. At dinner the desserts were too powerful for me.

The location is good. The swimming pool and the sauna are quite ok. Despite the lack of staff, the employees tried very hard. The rooms in the main building are no longer brand new and the old carpet in the main building smells very musty. That would have to be fixed.

We were guests in the Bavarian Forest in January. There is no elevator in the entire house, so guests with even mild disabilities can hardly enjoy their stay. We booked an apartment with half board. The apartment itself and the entire hotel complex is very clean. At dinner you can choose between two main courses, which tasted very good. You also got another portion if needed. Furthermore there was always a salad buffet, a soup and a dessert. I cannot confirm negative reviews that have already been given.

The apartments are located in separate buildings within a few 100m's of the main hotel building with restaurant, sauna, spa and kids play area. Came to this hotel today by chance on a bike tour and stopped for a cappuccino. There was a great buffet of cakes that we could help ourselves to. So delicious, I loved it. The hotel is in a great location and is very beautiful. We will definitely book a stay here one day. We will meet again!

Nice and clean hotel right in the middle of Viechtach's historic town center with shopping and eating nearby. Single rooms are very small but double room are ok. Fridge and water kettles are missing. Great breakfast buffet but the restaurant menu is pretty limited.

Thanks for the cosy stay at your hotel. We spent 3 nights at your place and made use of the overwhelming wellness offer. "Erlebnissauna" is not what a Sauna purist would expect but it was a fun experience. Food was delicious and personal was always kind! The room (112) could have been more modern. Well suited for a short stay. The hotel is centrally located and restaurants can be reached quickly. However, the hotel is already getting a little old, and some things could be improved or beautified. The sauna is very nice. Breakfast extensive and delicious.

The hotel was great. Our room was solidly furnished, we didn't miss anything. We could always have breakfast with a great view over Bodenmais. We had a german road trip over 4 weeks. In this hotel we stayed 5 days to see the national park and the beautiful bavarian wood. the view from our balcony was amazing (we had room 32). the way in to the city is about 10 minutes, but no problem. we have never seen such a breakfast any time before. just gorgeous!

Simple hotel right on the market square. A very friendly owner, who also meets special requests. Sure the decor is not the newest, but it's all clean and the rooms are spacious. Unfortunately for family reasons the restaurant is currently closed. But it is already very well arranged.

Wonderful child and dog friendly hotel

Almost nobody of the staff speaks English and some are really unfriendly. Anyways it is very clean, good food - but not great variety - and very family friendly. Amongst the downsides of not speaking anything but German, we've been charged 30€ more than expected, but we couldn't understand why, and our email exchange before our stay was completely non-sense.
