We arrived early and the let us check in no problem.
The room and bathroom were impeccably clean.
On the flight over from the USA, I lost a diamond earring, and thought it was gone. It must have got caught up in my clothing somewhere and fallen out in the hotel.
The cleaning person found it and placed it on the table for me to see. I really appreciate their honesty.
Breakfast is a must, wonderful way to start the day.

Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff and good food.

The room was large, warm and had an excellent bathroom. There was a lovely view of the local countryside.

The restaurant is well above average and the food was excellent, though fairly expensive.

The staff were all helpful and courteous.

The area is very quiet, but good for cycling and walking.

Hotel was nice, internet wasn’t.

Great hotel, nice rooms, well located and very, very well managed : ask for Petra the owner. She will take care.

Because of huge traffic on the way from Poland we arrive to Gronau at 11 p.m.
Every hotel was closed. We couldn’t find any spot to sleep, and then the nicest host ever when she was almost leaving home she checked in us because see saw that we are in need, and don’t have where to stay.
Kindness like that doesn’t happens very often.
Rooms clean, a lot of towels in bathrooms, good breakfast.
For sure will come back there and can recommend this hotel.
