Left in pain after the worst massage and staff don't seem to care this ruined the whole stay for us the hotel and everything in it is very expensive the 2 stars are for the Vivre restaraunt staff who are great! It was really hard to communicate our concerns as unfortunately staff couldn't understand so now we are left with a big bill.

Amazing hotel by the forest 7 min away from the city. Breakfast Buffet quality is real good. diner at the restaurant was delicious. friendly staff and Amazing Spa & Sauna. thanks L'arrivée team.

A voucher for an arrangement was purchased at the hotel (1x overnight stay, massage, dinner, breakfast; price €308). When the voucher was redeemed on site, an additional payment of €700 was required, so the stay was canceled. Despite contacting the hotel several times and numerous objections, the error was not recognized. Conclusion: €308 paid to the hotel for nothing, no refund received.

We used this hotel as a stopover travelling from the Eurotunnel at Calais and onwards to Bavaria. This was our first time here although we have been making this journey over the last 25 years. Our usual stopover just outside Dortmund was unavailabe due to the Main road being closed for the weekend. So, we found L' Arrivee on TA and decided to book a room. And we were glad we did. This is a fine hotel with quiet comfortable bedrooms. Also we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant here and a good breakfast before we departed the next morning. Also I am a car nut and like to take care of my car. And L'Arrivee has a lot of safe, secure parking. So I think we might have just have discovered our new regular stopover on our way from the Eurotunnel terminal and onwards into Deutschland.

Nice hotel in a nice location on the outskirts of Schwerte. The reception is well laid out, staff are attentive and rooms are clean and functional. My only grip is that, there is no blinds in the bathroom so when the sun comes up, it wakes you up irrespective of whether the curtains are closed or not. There is a great pub a hundred metre down the road, and has some fantastic meals available.

The experience was disappointing considering the price. While the room was decent, it only had two single beds which made it uncomfortable for my partner and I to sleep in the same bed. Additionally, the spa was underwhelming and felt rushed, leaving me feeling unfulfilled and unsatisfied with the overall experience.

Great hotel, everything complete, not much to complain about except the pillows 1 a little small and soft for my taste and the supplement for the dog very excessive.....Parking 1 a little far away. Otherwise the rooms are large and well equipped. The full European breakfast, not just German....

Passing through and with little choice and exorbitant prices everywhere, I came across this magnificent hotel by chance, located not far from the highway. Very large, fully equipped room, same bathroom, nothing to complain about. Hearty and complete breakfast with very good service. Very good night spent.....Just 30€ for the dog supplement is excessive even for a hotel of this category. Perfect welcome in several languages.

My report refers to two stays. The first time, the orange carpet in the room was surprisingly covered in green stains and the bathroom was covered in silverfish. The reception tried to be professional during check-in. However, the software crashed during check-in. The rooms were not available until 3 p.m. I found the spa area to be very good for a hotel of this category, both the paid treatments and the saunas and the swimming pool with whirlpool. The Rustique was very busy during the first stay and the kitchen was even better than the service. I sat for several minutes without a drink before a waitress took pity on me and asked about it. I found the room perfume in the room very intrusive. The second time, the room was nice, but the steps on the second floor unfortunately made the transition from one part of the building to the other not wheelchair accessible. The breakfast was adequately extensive, but I was bothered by wasps in the restaurant. I found the breakfast better than the evening meal.
