I liked the tastefully renovated old premises. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It’s an interesting hotel with a history and has its own special charm. The breakfast was excellent, a huge choice of everything, fresh veggies and fruit.

I love the style of the hotel and the staff is very friendly. The bed is a little bit noisy and the walls are somewhat thin but that is not a problem. The breakfast buffet is very delicious, a lot of choice and also healthy options. We also fancied the bar, many choices for good drinks.

The hotel is ok, a bit old but it has some “charm”. Don’t expect luxury but beds are good. DO NOT dine here. For the first time in my life I had to send the meal back to the kitchen. It was inedible.

Interesting hotel main building with period decor, even a suit of armour! Rooms are in a modern wing and are good. Service is very good. Food is good but if you are a vegetarian, like me, be aware there are only 2 choices so if you stay 3 days or more..... Also no restaurant or bar service from 10am to 5pm. No lunch or coffee - you must get in your car and look elsewhere. Pool closed for maintenance...

It is a beautiful old hotel, one time it was a grand luxurious hotel but it has lost its shine a bit due to maintenance issues but nothing some handy work can't fix. it's old glory can been seen all around, beautiful marmer floors, extremely detailed decorated walls and ceilings, you will not find this anywhere else. This hotel is very big if you see inside. It is old style hotel and many room type for tourist or business man. There are many floor with elevator. The breakfast is same as everyday. Staff can speak english very well. Near the hotel there are bar b q restaurant like buffet . In the hotel underground they have big room for party. It can take 70 peoples there with convenoence.

Great location and competitive pricing. Breakfast was great and the place was lovely and clean. 10 minutes walk from the centre of Gummersbach and close the the connections for rail and road. Loved it.

The Staff is very friendly and very helpful. I loved the breakfast its a wide variety. The location is perfect, the city center and train station is in walking distance from here. Really love this place!

Clean and nice. The staff at my two days, however, the absolute need for service. The views of the opposite house front was no less beautiful, especially as the room was at the very bottom, and everyone could look in the window. Breakfast was adequate and quite good.

Good location for Köln Messe visitors. Very decent breakfast, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Only carpets need some attention.

The hotel is clean and has its own style. A stay for work in the near area for a few nights is ok. Köln is more than 40 km away. There is a large parking place, just 30 meters away. Keep care for speeding control when you arrive. That's all.

Breakfast is pretty good. The only thing is the bed is kinda uncomfortable with only one pillow that was hard to get settled in. If your on business be mindful the some of the staff don't speak English.

2x for 3 weeks was already in the Hotel. Very clean, good Breakfast for all Wishes fulfilled, WiFi. A very friendly and courteous staff. In particular, the good Fairy, Mrs K., who has patience of an angel. In fact, a beautiful nice surroundings, beautiful nature.

Cheap but good accommodation place for those who just want to rest, to sleep, or passing through would like to.

A very excellent Hotel with very good leadership. The managing Director is a warer Gentleman and as a businessman, always correct and loyal. He pays his bills always on time. Is always very well selected and truly enjoyed a very good nursery. Rarely so a Nice contact. A High on this perfect management !!!!!

Was there a few times a couple of years ago. My best memories of Germany start from here with hotel and service. They were very kind to me during my stays and the food that Eric cooks is amazing.

This hotel is conveniently located to shopping and sight seeing areas. Very large, clean rooms with friendly staff. The food is excellent and the portions are large. Good selection on the menu.

Very decent and inexpensive Hotel. Very large rooms. Beautiful 70s-oak-style. The Restaurant is also good.

First: We didn't stay there (unfortunately)... If the rooms are only half as comfortable as the dining room, you can only give 5 stars ☺️ We stopped in there and enjoyed Bergische waffles and apple strudel! Very nice, fast and friendly service and everything freshly prepared! Thank you and : We will definitely come back here again.

For me one of the best country inns in Germany. My room, the location, the architecture, the outdoor area, the great kitchen and the excellent breakfast: everything was 1A. But I would particularly like to highlight the sovereign, competent and authentically friendly staff. I felt extremely comfortable here. M.E. 5 stars are not enough.

Wonderful coffee and Apple strudel. This was a short visit in the middle of a walk. We will go there again.

Also in the case of "Local" is very popular. Honest, varied and in addition to the classics, seasonal food. That's not something you find nowadays, unfortunately, so well cared for and in such an idyllic atmosphere. And no, I'm not in business or private connection with the Shop!

We felt very comfortable in the suite, which is very well equipped. The bathroom is very spacious and the shower is a dream. Our dog was also very welcome. The breakfast was very varied. Highly recommended. Price-performance is right!

Very good hotel with nice staff. The connection is optimal whether you travel by train or car. Beautifully furnished room and super comfortable beds.

Very large rooms and very nicely decorated. Quiet. The breakfast was also very good. What was perhaps missing was a kettle in the room with coffee powder. Opposite there is a shopping arcade, and the city center is not far within walking distance.

Great 3 star hotel with a very good breakfast selection. Very friendly staff at reception, at the bar, at breakfast and also the cleaning staff - all not 3 but 5 stars. The rooms are very clean and very modern. Air conditioning individually adjustable, shower/toilet everything was great. Parking is available in the hotel's own parking lot (of course for a fee, but very moderate) or in the public parking...

The hotel is really very nice and has a good location. The rooms are a good size. The beds are not very wide at 140cm, but they are really comfortable. There were two very comfortable pillows per person. The light source is a bit dark. Which wasn't bad in the evening, but was noticeable in the morning. Very nice little pension in the Bergisches Land, friendly owner. Clean and lovingly furnished rooms, great breakfast.

The room is very small and also the bathroom. There were beds two single and the room as DZ was given. The beds can also be used to bring together and close. Wifi is fast and everywhere accessible.

One of the few venues where you can be sure the price can be performance and the quality is 100% fit....
