Policies and conditions
- Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 2 years old stay for € 20 per person per night when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 5 years old stay for € 15 per person per night when using an existing bed.
People no matter the age stay for € 30 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

Our stay at "Zum Schwanen" was amazing! The huge free parking just a few steps away on Schwanenplatz was a great convenience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and Christian went above and beyond, accommodating our special requests and providing extra storage for our equipment. Super nice guy and great chef!

My stay was great. Good room, service, rates and location (spend a few days doing meetings in Cologne and region). Surely will consider for future trips.

Convenient place to stay in the centre of Wermelskirchen. Good breakfast buffet !

I had a horrible night in this place. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Bed was completely broken. From outside and also inside there was noise all night long. Asked the night service to do something about it (2am) and they told it’s my own problem.

Nice hotel. The only drawback is the waiter who is not present all the time: if you arrive early, you will have to call him by phone.

Nice Hotel with great kitchen. My room was great equipped, with new bathroom, large TV with PC, coffee maker, etc.

We have dinner booked two rooms and were moved to 22 o'clock and it was not opened despite this arrangement, this is the biggest mess I've ever seen!!!!

My first time in Germany and I am shocked this is called a 4 star hotel. They are not prepared at all for international guests...I do not expect people to speak perfect English, but the staff was rude even to German speaking guests (perhaps because they were Arab and Turkish?). Even more odd FULL payment was required up front which is generally not a standard practice...then they kicked us out of the rooms after we had decided to stay another night and had paid...
Rooms had an awful smell, were not cleaned, and guests were LITERALLY forced to buy their own toilet paper after they refused to provide more! Not to mention wifi is advertised but doesn't work.
I do not recommend anyone that is not German to stay here! In the US this would be a $40/night motel at best...not 4 stars at 120 euro a night. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
