Alpchalet Schwanstein
Located in the small town of Halfrech, it is a family hotel in a log cabin, a ten-minute drive from Neuschwanstein Castle. The surrounding scenery is pleasant. The proprietress is actually from Wuxi. I didn't expect to meet a fellow countryman in this remote area of Germany (Wuxi is also considered a fellow countryman). It was a pleasant conversation! Communication was easy. The hotel is self-service check-in. When you arrive, you will find an envelope with your name on it, which contains keys and bus coupons, etc. There is a form at the front desk to fill in the breakfast time, which is very convenient. There is a restaurant next to the hotel. The steak is good and the decoration is also very stylish. The hotel room is large, very clean and tidy. There is a small coffee machine in the room. We live on the first floor. There is a yard full of grass behind. It is very comfortable to sit and drink coffee and bask in the sun. The key is that the boss is a Chinese couple. Communication is convenient and feels friendly. Everything is great. Thank you for the warm hospitality of the proprietress!

In summary, it is very good. The breakfast is rich, with smoked salmon, ham, etc., as well as scrambled eggs, fried eggs, etc. The room is comfortable. Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator, and the luggage must be carried by yourself~

The location is great, there are plenty of parking spaces, the room is spacious, and it's easy to check in. It's perfect for a stay.

Right near the Austrian border, and the feet of Germany’s highest mountain (just under 3 km) the “Zugspitse”, this chalet is a magnificent place to stay.
Very friendly and helpful people, very nice (and very clean) rooms with excellent beds and nice bathroom. Good pricing and an excellent restaurant ( managed by a different owner ) is literally next door.

An ideal hotel for a night or two when exploring Füssen and visiting Neuschwanstein. Staff and owner were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of parking onsite. The restaurant was closed when we were there unfortunately but breakfast was included.

We wanted to see Neuschwanstein Castle during our time in Germany, so we decided to stay at Alpchalet Schwanstein for the weekend.
It was such a wonderful experience! The hotel was quaint and charming. Our rooms were lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the balcony with a view is something we will always remember. Try to wake up for sunrise if you can, it was extraordinary!
The staff was very kind and accommodating. We loved the breakfast, as it was the perfect fuel for a big day of sightseeing. Also, if you have time to check out the restaurant connected to the hotel for dinner, it is cozy and delicious!
All in all, we loved Alpchalet Schwanstein and would feel happy to recommend it to future travelers!

It was clean, clean, and had a coffee machine, coffee pot, and refrigerator. It was the best hotel I've encountered in Germany for the price. The breakfast was very good, especially the view of the snow-capped Alps peaks outside the window. I really want to come here again
