Really bad experience. On February 10th at 19:55, I sent an email requesting information about the possibility of checking in after 23:00, as my flight, along with another guest’s, was scheduled to arrive around 23:30. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a response. Both of us completed the online check-in process prior to our arrival. However, upon reaching the hotel, we found ourselves unable to enter. The entry code provided by a sms for the parking was incorrect, and despite trying for almost an hour and calling the provided number, we received no response. The emergency contact number was inconveniently located inside the reception area, making it inaccessible until we were already inside. We attempted to retrieve our room cards from the machine in the reception area. This process worked for the other guest, although he had to re-enter his credit card information despite having received payment confirmation during the online check-in. For me, the machine charged my card again (resulting in a double payment) and failed to issue a room card. After 20 minutes of speaking with the emergency contact, I finally received a room card. Upon checking out, I mentioned the incorrect parking entry code and the double payment issue. I was informed that the code I received via message was not the correct one. Regarding the double payment, I was told that the online payment (made with an agency card) could be canceled, and the payment to my card would be retained. This solution is not acceptable as the payment was company-funded. Throughout this ordeal, I did not receive any apologies or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and the poor handling of these issues. I expect a prompt resolution to the double payment issue and a formal apology for the inconvenience experienced.

Overall I had a good stay and would recommend this place. Good for the price, clean, everything worked in my room, staff was ready to help. Breakfast buffet was versatile and generous, which kept me on for the most of my budget tourist day.
There is something that does not depend on the hotel personal: sound penetration may be disturbing if you have noisy neighbors (one night there was a couple who "had fun" loudly, it kept me awake).
Things that can be improved:
1. Better training for new staff.
- I prorated my stay and the reception lady did not extend the magnetic key correctly, so when I was back at the evening, it did not open my door.
- there is a sign wich you can hang on the door handle if you want to skip room cleaning. 2 days in a row it was ignored. Possible the worker wasn't taught what this sign is for or could not read neither English or German on this sign.
2. The gym. For such a price I see a gym as extra, so thank you for at least having such a place. From other side, if you advertise it as a part of your hotel services, I think it sould be better fit for the task and hotel level.

Again, my total impression was positive.

The hotel has started to show its age, it's nothing fancy, but it's functional.

Room was clean though very out dated, certainly the bathroom. Shower didn't drain. Pipes were noisy throughout the night. Service was good though had to ask a few times to get stuff. Double bed but only a single duvet and a single pillow.

Perfectly acceptable business hotel with standards close to the ones you'd expect in Turkey, Romania or Bulgaria. The room was large, the noise insulation average but sadly Hanau is saturated with old German limousines and wanna-be döner gangsters...so the noise from outside is intrusive and going out around the hotel is not enjoyable.
Breakfast was fine, cleanliness too and even the bed was OK despite the two silly little duvets vs a whole one.
Ok if you must stay in the center of Hanau.

Few staff, but they managed everything very well. Friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Very good location. Not far from the main train station and city center. Price OK. I really enjoyed my stay there. Will definitely book it next time.

Hotel has undergone restyling, last time I was there in 2011. Staff is courteous and very helpful. Modern furnishings, the rooms are large. I would bet something more on cleaning. Large bed, if a little hard. Hotel It is located in a strategic and comfortable place, easily accessible, with ample parking (even if too expensive for me 10 € / day).
