Where to stay in Hanau

I can only recommend this place. Welcoming staff, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much.

Beautiful little hotel with comfy beds and a bed and breakfast feel. Right near Habau, but far enough away to make you feel like you are in the country. Fantastic restaurant.

The staff is always helpful and knows my name. The food is excellent. There is terrific access to the old City The internet is First Class and FAST

Nice hotel, staff is very responsive and polite. Never regrets to stay in this hotel during my business trip. The location of the hotel allow to go outside for a dinner otherwise you can enjoy the small menu offered by the hotel. Breakfast is diversified. Room are quite and clean.

No body was at the hotel when we arrived. Had to call, and a very nice young lady showed up. Let us in the building, gave us our room key and took off. We couldn't ask any questions or know about the town or how to get back to the airport.

Very good hotel in nice part of Hanau

Room was ok and decently sized, beds are awfully soft. No fridge or air conditioning. Reception is staffed from 7-22h.

I stayed at the hotel during a business trip for 3 nights. Hotelrrom was huge, room 415. Fast wLan. Parking garage was charged extra 12Euro. I liked the bath as well. It was big and warm. Breakfast was ok.

We booked this hotel last minute for a business trip to Frankfurt. We slept in this Dependance of the "zum Riesen" Hotel which is around the corner. You have to check in in the main hotel, where you also have the breakfast. The staff is professional and helpful and this main hotel looks good. The Dependance is and old family hotel above the still existing restaurant. The rooms are small but clean....

Fabulous breakfast! This charming, small, non-corporate hotel has kind staff. An easy train ride to the Frankfort airport, the location also allows for a nice walk down to the park and bike/walking path by the river. As an American arriving jet-lagged, this was a calming and delightful way to enter a new country.

My new favourite hotel. I stayed for a week on business. The style is quirky and fun and nothing like the plastic modern hotels we have to stay in most of the time. The breakfasts were heavenly. The decor is ...... I have no words. The train station is just a 2 min walk away with regular trains to Frankfurt and the airport. The cleanliness was excellent and the mother and son team were impeccable hosts...

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. But it wont suit everybody. There is no air con, pool or after hours service. Stayed here twice. Once on.the day of arrival to Frankfurt and once on day of departure - 25 minutes from airport. We are a Family of 5. Very cosy with a classic style. Super nice and attentive host and a heartful breakfast (including eggs made by order). It's clear that the Irmchen family have been doing this for quite a while and doing it very well!

Stayed mid Feb '17 for a week on a business trip, very comfortable room that was quiet, lovely home service with excellent breakfast, nothing was ever to much when asked for. They aim to ensure your stay was relaxing.

The breakfast is very good and many varieties with great location and causy atmosphere. And no problems for parking in big city like frankfurt.

Comfortable but old and not always well clean due to the presence (but just in a couple of rooms) of some spiders that get in from the window, opened to let getting in some fresh air before going to sleep in summertime. Many rooms are wide. The breakfast focuses on bread, ham, nutella, salmon and yogurt but not too many other alternatives available.

We stayed in the Main-Lust on our tour on the Main Cycle Path. Nice and quiet location. Clean rooms, modernized bathroom and a large shower is available 👍🏻 Nice, flexible staff and we were able to put the 🚲 in the garage. Breakfast very plentiful and prepared with a lot of love. Value for money is right 👌🏻

First of all, the hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable. There was no inconvienience during the stay. Karina tried to reflect the needs of the guests as much as possible. Basic services are required for a fee, but other than that, it is a very good place to stay and recommended.

Extremely quiet rooms, but no frills: just wifi, tv and frigo bar. No air conditioning makes the stay very warm in summer time. Staff is kind and speak english. Brekfast is focused on german tastes, with some sweet food, but the quality is below average and the care for details is not at the top

Hotel is listed as 4* but I think this rating is very dated. The hotel feels quite dated, restaurant and seating is more like a canteen. Breakfast is adequate but not lavish. The hotel was clean and quiet. Exactly what you want while traveling. It was very conveniently located to a grocery store and pleny of walking, running ,or biking trails. Ample surface parking at the hotel. Very quiet and relaxing. Good food in the restaurant. I would definitely stay there again!

The property was very clean. I didn't like the fact I'm from Philadelphia, Pa and was unable to change the language on the television. Every channel was on Germany, which i understand but there still should be an option to change to English

Nice clean room. Even with a massage chair. After a 29km hike that was just the thing. Very friendly hosts. At breakfast we were asked if we would like scrambled eggs, fried eggs or boiled eggs. Then it was freshly made. My breakfast was perfect! The evening before we were easily exchanged money for the drinks machine. The beds are very comfortable. We were super happy. Thanks!

Pretty ok hotel, don't know why the low rating. Room and the bathroom was clean and nice. The only downside is the fact that there was no internet in the rooms as the signal was too weak.

Modern hotel at a low price. Clean. Friendly welcome. One point deduction of the many cables lying around on the floor in the room. That fitted sheet was the wrong way round.

The hotel is very clean and is located on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the building. But you can't have breakfast here.

It's a great little efficiency hotel. I had a seminar at Heraeus for a few days. Perfect for a business trip. It's an easy walk to the entrance. Checkin was a little difficult because I arrived late and they close early, but they made accommodations to be there for me.
