Where to stay in Hanau

sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer in Top Lage.

No body was at the hotel when we arrived. Had to call, and a very nice young lady showed up. Let us in the building, gave us our room key and took off. We couldn't ask any questions or know about the town or how to get back to the airport.

Very good hotel in nice part of Hanau

Room was ok and decently sized, beds are awfully soft. No fridge or air conditioning. Reception is staffed from 7-22h.

I stayed at the hotel during a business trip for 3 nights. Hotelrrom was huge, room 415. Fast wLan. Parking garage was charged extra 12Euro. I liked the bath as well. It was big and warm. Breakfast was ok.

A world class hotel in a small town!

Few staff, but they managed everything very well. Friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Very good location. Not far from the main train station and city center. Price OK. I really enjoyed my stay there. Will definitely book it next time.

Hotel has undergone restyling, last time I was there in 2011. Staff is courteous and very helpful. Modern furnishings, the rooms are large. I would bet something more on cleaning. Large bed, if a little hard. Hotel It is located in a strategic and comfortable place, easily accessible, with ample parking (even if too expensive for me 10 € / day).

Great hotel, friendly staff, comfortable rooms- stayed one night with 3 kids under 5. Lovely breakfast that was free for the kids. Child friendly. Will definitely stay there again en route to Austria. Keep it up!

Beautiful little hotel with comfy beds and a bed and breakfast feel. Right near Habau, but far enough away to make you feel like you are in the country. Fantastic restaurant.

Nice hotel, staff is very responsive and polite. Never regrets to stay in this hotel during my business trip. The location of the hotel allow to go outside for a dinner otherwise you can enjoy the small menu offered by the hotel. Breakfast is diversified. Room are quite and clean.

Best hotel when in Hanau area with easy access to Stenheim

After a flight cancellation, we were driven away to stay in this hotel. What a treat! From the greeting at reception to the bar staff, to the breakfast team and the chef's... outstanding. It must have been a difficult time for them because so many people had their flights cancelled. But you would not have known it. Smiling faces and great attitudes all around. Lovely breakfasts with a huge variety...

Breakfast and dinner were great. The reception staff was extremely polite and nice.

This hotel offers kind service, a parking place for cars, tasty dishes (moderate variety but all dishes are delicious and comme il faut), free gym (quite small but enough for a smart training), and relatively good infrastructure. All rooms are equipped with a hair dryer and a wardrobe, mirrors and many lamps. My main problem was that I did not get cleaning service (or new towels, etc.) during my four...

Ok hotel. Clean. Breakfast is nothing special but ok. The restaurant isn't so good.

Check-in was a bit slow but friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent, would just appreciate a second coffee machine.

The reception staff were fantastic...Restaurant staff also amazing...The Tuesday BBQ was wonderful...The breakfast perfect...our whole experience was only positive...They have a great games room in the bottom floor and great parking all free of cost...Perfect we will be back for sure very soon..Thank you for making us feel so welcome..

Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Wir hatten im Vorfeld ein paar Änderungen an unserer Buchung, was problemlos geklappt hat.

Nice clean room. Even with a massage chair. After a 29km hike that was just the thing. Very friendly hosts. At breakfast we were asked if we would like scrambled eggs, fried eggs or boiled eggs. Then it was freshly made. My breakfast was perfect! The evening before we were easily exchanged money for the drinks machine. The beds are very comfortable. We were super happy. Thanks!

We booked this hotel last minute for a business trip to Frankfurt. We slept in this Dependance of the "zum Riesen" Hotel which is around the corner. You have to check in in the main hotel, where you also have the breakfast. The staff is professional and helpful and this main hotel looks good. The Dependance is and old family hotel above the still existing restaurant. The rooms are small but clean....

Fabulous breakfast! This charming, small, non-corporate hotel has kind staff. An easy train ride to the Frankfort airport, the location also allows for a nice walk down to the park and bike/walking path by the river. As an American arriving jet-lagged, this was a calming and delightful way to enter a new country.

My new favourite hotel. I stayed for a week on business. The style is quirky and fun and nothing like the plastic modern hotels we have to stay in most of the time. The breakfasts were heavenly. The decor is ...... I have no words. The train station is just a 2 min walk away with regular trains to Frankfurt and the airport. The cleanliness was excellent and the mother and son team were impeccable hosts...

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. But it wont suit everybody. There is no air con, pool or after hours service. But and it is a big BUT this place has more character and friendliness than almost anywhere else I have stayed. I will admit it is odd, but in a lovely way. Stayed here twice. Once on.the day of arrival to Frankfurt and once on day of departure - 25 minutes from airport. We are a Family of 5. Very cosy with a classic style. Super nice and attentive host and a heartful breakfast (including eggs made by order). It's clear that the Irmchen family have been doing this for quite a while and doing it very well!

Stayed mid Feb '17 for a week on a business trip, very comfortable room that was quiet, lovely home service with excellent breakfast, nothing was ever to much when asked for. They aim to ensure your stay was relaxing.

The breakfast is very good and many varieties with great location and causy atmosphere. And no problems for parking in big city like frankfurt.

Comfortable but old and not always well clean due to the presence (but just in a couple of rooms) of some spiders that get in from the window, opened to let getting in some fresh air before going to sleep in summertime. Many rooms are wide. The breakfast focuses on bread, ham, nutella, salmon and yogurt but not too many other alternatives available.

Modern hotel at a low price. Clean. Friendly welcome. One point deduction of the many cables lying around on the floor in the room. That fitted sheet was the wrong way round.

The hotel is very clean and is located on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the building. But you can't have breakfast here.

Great value for money

It's a great little efficiency hotel. I had a seminar at Heraeus for a few days. Perfect for a business trip. It's an easy walk to the entrance. Checkin was a little difficult because I arrived late and they close early, but they made accommodations to be there for me.

Breakfast essential, but complete.. You had several choices depending if you like sweet or savoury. Good position in front of the Main, good to walk or run. Good restaurant.

We stayed in the Main-Lust on our tour on the Main Cycle Path. Nice and quiet location. Clean rooms, modernized bathroom and a large shower is available 👍🏻 Nice, flexible staff and we were able to put the 🚲 in the garage. Breakfast very plentiful and prepared with a lot of love. Value for money is right 👌🏻

Mattress could be more comfortable The rest is good. Location is close to the center. The restaurant have delicious food and the breakfast is enough.

First of all, the hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable. There was no inconvienience during the stay. Karina tried to reflect the needs of the guests as much as possible. Basic services are required for a fee, but other than that, it is a very good place to stay and recommended.

Extremely quiet rooms, but no frills: just wifi, tv and frigo bar. No air conditioning makes the stay very warm in summer time. Staff is kind and speak english. Brekfast is focused on german tastes, with some sweet food, but the quality is below average and the care for details is not at the top

Pretty ok hotel, don't know why the low rating. Room and the bathroom was clean and nice. The only downside is the fact that there was no internet in the rooms as the signal was too weak.

Very clean, the breakfast was really tasty. Before looking for the parkplace (hardly possible on the street) I suggest to go to the reception and to buy a parkplace in private parking for 6,5euro. HOWEVER: you can pay for the parkplace, but there is only one entrance card to the parking on the next street you have to give back right after you park. There is no lift to the rooms and the rooms are on...
