Very good place for a one night stop on the road. Self check in is possible at night if you use Accorhotels app and credit card. Rooms are simple but comfortable and clean.

Conveniently located near the Danish border, we've stayed at this budget hotel on two occasions. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room, the general atmosphere and the quietness. Watch out for the *very* hot water from the taps.

Very neat, clean and friendly personal. Only thing that was missing was some information on when breakfast is served etc. A little pamflett in the room is always nice to read.

Very friendly staff at the Ellen Hotel in Harrislee. The location, right next to the boarder is good for a stop over on the way to or from Scandinavia. Or for a shopping trip to Flensburg. There is enough car parking space outside the motel rooms also for two cars if necessary. No feedback about the rooms as I haven't been inside any of them.

A room under the roof is very hot when the temperature outside is 31 dog C. Changed room to one on the first floor, then ok. Nice breakfast. Prices in the higher end.

Cosy family hotel a couple of km north of Flensburg. Large room for 2 adults and a child. Friendly manageress and the staff. Decent breakfast. Recommended.

It's a Hostel not a Hotel, but it has a friendly relaxed atmosphere and a nice courtyard.

It is what it claims to be: a hostel. The rooms are very simple but unfortunately not very clean, there are drawings and dirt on walls and bugs in the ceiling lamp. The room smelled awfully much like cigarette smoke. However, the personell is very helpful and nice and made the stay very easy and convenient for the one night I was staying!

Pretty much what you'd expect from such a cheap place. The host is friendly, beds are kinda uncomfortable (expected though), it's fine for staying a night. One thing that was pretty bad though, they didn't have any soap in the bathroom which is a pretty big deal during COVID

Last weekend we were guests at the Boardinghouse Flensburg by Zimmer FREI. We can really recommend this accommodation warmly. Super clean, well-kept, classy furnished and an absolute TOP location! Any time! Even the coffee in bed is secured by a fully automatic machine. If you are lucky you can get a parking space right in front of the door. Now we are waiting for our things that we have forgotten...

We felt very comfortable! The booking was very uncomplicated, the rooms perfectly clean and tidy. A few special requests such as an additional pillow and a few blankets were ready with a friendly greeting card the next day. Highly recommended!!! Price / performance fits mega here! The stay was ok. Employees are hospitable, and the people we met in the reception all spoke english. The rooms do not have aircondition, so you have to use the windows for air. that worked well enough for this time of year. Loud place, you can hear a lot from the other rooms. Girl at the desk kept talking to us in german, eventho she earlier knew english fine.. very weird. Great breakfast though :) Doors do not lock themselves, so remember to!

I am a bit torn here. The staff and the overall vibe were nice and friendly. The location, however, is an issue. While the city center and the train station are within walking distance, the road is quite busy and loud if your room faces the road. Beautifully furnished and equipped apartment in a central location, unfortunately with a very poorly accessible parking lot.

Clean and spatious rooms, old fashioned but that has its own charm. 24/7 reception and a good breakfast.

Hotel is very clean and well managed. Rooms are large spacious and well lit and the bathroom has underfloor heating which I find really snug. Bed linen is crisp and new with comfy mattress and soft pillows. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Large modern rooms. Excellent bathrooms. Really excellent breakfast. Well placed at the bottom of the harbour and just down the road from the walking street. And the best part was the staff, which were competent, friendly and helpful. When the reservation was confirmed they asked if we wanted extra pillows. A small example of the godt service.

Stayed thete for a work related trip in Flensburg. Location: it is next to Flensburg ZOB and the walking street. Several restaurants and bars are at walking distance. Location wise it is 5/5. Service: The staff was helpful and as expected. Both (check in and check out were fast) Room: The room was clean, and had good aesthetics. I checked out early morning, so couldn't enjoy their breakfast.

It was a nice hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had some issues with my room with the minifridge lights flashing, but they were quick to send people to help. The breakfast was ok, like your average hotel breakfast menu. It is close to a police station and hospital so there were lots of traffic passing by with sirens on. It was not too loud however if you had your window closed

The hotel facilities are very nice and the location is amazing. We were however not impressed with the lack of roomservice. We did however recieve a couple of clean sheets and towels when confronting the front desk to change ourselves.

Room is good and comfortable. Minibar(empty) fridge is a good thing to have and here I have it. Full floor carpet at room and it is not my favorite thing. Service is good and breakfast was also good. Seem to be peaceful rooms at least on the back side of the hotel. No excess sounds like traffic sounds are coming to the room.

Friendly Personnel. Simple, very clean hotel. It is definitely not a luxury hotel ( the rooms are relative small, sink in the room, no closet ), but we felt very welcome and we will come back again.

Very good stay. We unfortunately stayed only for one night and regret that we stayed for so little. The breakfast was delicious. Vegetarian, complete and a very friendly host. Bedrooms clean, bathrooms super aswell. Seems that they managed the corona thing good as every bathroom is asigned for each one of the rooms. We will definitely come back and stay in this hostel. Great hostel for a nice price. Apart from not having a bathroom in the room not too much to separate this from a small hotel. The shared bathrooms are very clean and modern with plenty of space. Beautiful hostel, right on the historic harbor. Interior looks like it was built out by cool craftspeople with industry background who are focusing on interior decorating and renovation now. Nice classy open air restaurant downstairs with affordable local beer and right across the street from a bunch of old/replica wooden tall ships and a ship museum. I thought beer in Germany was less expensive... hotel is decent, comfy mattrace, big screen TV. Reception 24hrs. They are a little bit heavy in terms of covid, it's much less limited in Scandinavia. In the restaurant separated boxes and facemask obligation at all times. But Ok, maybe its for the better. Prices very good in relation to quality.

I am guessing we arrived at a very busy time because there were no parking spaces available. The staff was really friendly though. The room at first sight was lovely. Huge window facing the street. Because of the extreme heat and no air conditioning we had to keep the window open, listening to party music and street racing well into the night. There are no power outlets at the desk which seemed odd...
