We were made to feel welcome from the very beginning. It is clearly a very well run family hotel. We were able to check in early and were allocated a parking space, despite not booking one. The room was very clean, tidy and had everything that we required. We headed out for food but coming back, the balcony was an amazing addition. Vacation for two ... we were several times in the classic art. We had different rooms ... which were always clean. The breakfast is extensive. The friendly owner is very courteous and attentive. We will be back soon

Very nice owner, clean rooms and a rich breakfast. The hotel is on the "main street", but it is very quiet. Parking spaces are available in front of the house and on the street.

We were there for the weekend. A small hotel centrally located in Heimbach. The equipment is practical and always very clean. We felt comfortable, even if the rooms were a bit old. The breakfast is varied, adequate and delicious. We will be back.

Lovely place, host was very welcoming and helpful. Room is clean. Wifi was good and the bed was very comfortable.

We were kind skeptical due to all the bad reviews, but decided to give it a go. We were very surprised. Yes, the rooms are a bit old (and so is the hotel), but it a was very clean and comfortable. The hotel owner is extremely kind and helpful. No bad words for that man at all. The location is amazing. I would recommend it.

I stayed here for one night. It is advantageous in the sense that it is close to all touristic areas (by car). I enjoyed the balcony especially in the morning! The receptionist guy was very nice and informative.

A small hotel in the village. Rooms quite large and comfortable with a balcony. Although the hotel is not new, it is kept clean and the rooms refreshed. There is free WiFi, You can buy the possibility of using a small cramped kitchen max for 3 people. Internal parking for 10-15 cars.

Owners are very nice and helpful. Room had bathroom with shower, balcony and free wi-fi. All clean. Breakfast was awesome as well.

A wonderful hotel with a unique feel. Friendly people and very good food. The unique atmosphere of each room, and the decorations of the reception and dining room will appeal to fans of literature (fantasy and otherwise).

Talk about personality! This hotel has tons of it! Friendly and social hosts and basic but nice rooms. Each room has a sci-fi/fantasy theme. Nice location with possibility for a nice morning run :-). Breakfast could be better, but for the asked price it's more than sufficient! I will most certainly stay at this hotel again.

Very nice and quiet Resort. We had a fantastic Penthouse Suite with lots of room for a great price. We'll be going there again for sure.

23/04/2022. There was an annoying 'guard' stopping our pizza party, with the argument that it is an 'open fire', while it's actually a portable pizza oven (fully closed) on butane, that we were using on our terrace. Nothing 'open' to it. The guy also stalks around the park in the evening and at night and if there is too much noise, even just loud laughing inside of the house, he will ring the door...

Great view of the Rur-river valley and an excellent starting point for exploring the nearby hiking and biking trails. There are two restaurants and a small supermarket on the premises, as well as e-bikes for rent. Mind that due to being situated on a slope the roads are rather steep.

Everything is nice and we'll layed out. Kids can have great time here. People who are interested in trekking and cycling will have good time here. The only restaurant which is inside the resort is not good. Food is pretty average except for the pizza. If you go to this resort in winter, you will have a hard time keeping the home warm. The heating Equipments can't handle the large space.

We stayed with 2 adults and a dog in 4 Person Flat with Luxus equipment in house H. The surrounding area is really nice. In the park are a grocery store, 2 restaurants, tourist info, bicycle rent, a swimming pool.

One of the best place I visited ever. Nice ambience, good people, awesome scenery. Only one problem you can face is that it is too far from the market place. There are few shop which are open from 7 am to 10 am on weekdays.

Idyllic “Gasthof” with a nice atmosphere, perfect for a quiet relaxing weekend away. When I arrived I has some issues with my booking through Booking.com (which had nothing to do with the gasthof) and my booking didn’t come through. Luckily the room was still available and I was able to book it there on the spot. It’s owned by a friendly and helpful dutch couple which made the communication for me...

We very much enjoyed our stay at Gasthof Burg Hausen. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. Everything was clean, including the shared bathrooms. We enjoyed the breakfast. Guests should be award that the restaurant is not open everyday.

Very nice place with friendly staff and decent traditional local food. The garden outside is just awesome, just under the trees and with a playground few meters away, so families can enjoy food and drinks while kids have their fun

Excellent service with an authentic attitude of hospitality. Delicious traditional meals, lots to chose from. If I'd live in Nideggen I'd go there every week. One star is missing due to the very strong mix of the Aperol Spritz and the very limited vegetarian options in the main meal section. Thanks for making us feel at home!

We stopped here for dinner after a day at the Rursee in August 2020. Safe the say we had an excellent meal in the beer garden. A really good food menu, and very good portions. Would happily recommend to anyone to stop here for dinner. We had Jägerschnitzel and pork Medallions, both were excellent! Staff we also very friendly. Our dinner for two was around €45 with drinks.

Very very friendly personel, and the food was very very good. After a small week in the Eifel tasting different schnitzels, this was definitely the best!

Great place to stay. Beautiful sight and surround area with lot's of possibilities to hike, bike or drive though.

What a lovely hotel! It feels like a bed and breakfast with the amazing service and friendly staff. Every meal was excellent and the beer, wine, and spirts complimented the meals or very enjoyable on their own. Your not in a city out here, but the rural charm and attractions kept us busy and having fun. I recommend a visit to the Castle Niddegen and a swim at Lago Beach with some cocktails to enjoy...

We had a lovely stay! Everything was great; the food, the people (so friendly) and we got a huge room and is was all clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel and specifically the restaurant was of high quality.

Child-friendly, very nice, very good service, large portions, I ate steak myself and the second schnitzel I tasted both very, very good. Wife and child too. There is also a delicious vegetarian menu! It's worth stopping by.

Very lavish menu. Very well prepared Indian dishes. Good and friendly service. Unfortunately, cutbacks in dessert. The chocolate tart that I ordered tasted like meat because it was most likely baked in the oven for various meat dishes. If that is improved there will be 5 stars.

The food was really very good. The portions were also sufficient. The service was very nice and attentive. The waiting times weren't long. On the contrary. The food for our child was way too much. Too much for a child's portion in my opinion. It was a little cold overall. But we would go again.

Good location, nice view on high hills (depends on the location of your room), nice rooms. Clearly family business (what is good). Restaurant is so so - like 3 different eating places, 1 pretty far from the kitchen/breakfast bar.

Wonderful place and people. Stayed there while we explored the Hurtgenwald, and the hotel, restaurant, staff, and owners could not have been more enjoyable. We will be back to Hotel Roeb.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully clean, the owner has focused on a simple, fresh decor. Our room had an extended view over the countryside which could be enjoyed from the balcony. We enjoyed a good dinner with good portions and a well stocked salad bar. The duvets were lovely and soft and the breakfast great.

What a pleasant stay my family and I (5 in total) had in our spacious family room. Excellent atmosphere, friendly and professional staff and management. The restaurant is run very well (great meals), and the cleanliness in the hotel and allround is superb. Compliments to Heinz and his staff! :)

This is probably one of the best hotel experiences I had anywhere in the world. In fact it cannot be called a hotel experience because we felt really at home. I think nothing more to add here. We will definitely be back.

We were there for dinner on Saturday, September 11th, our special requests were met and the service was very friendly. Definitely worth a visit because it is extraordinary and beautiful.

Lovingly furnished and comfortably designed. Both the boss and the staff are very friendly and service-oriented. The kitchen offers fine home-made dishes that are really convincing. Simply delicious 😋 Gladly again and see you next time.
