Great find in small town, 30 mins from Nurnberg Such a great find! It is a wellness hotel so tremendous gym equipment, pool, cold plunge and sauna. Massage and beauty appointments available also. The hotel is renovated and refurnished, great place for transit, really calm and at the same time you are in the middle of shopping zone, free parking (as well with vand), good breakfast, easy check in, nice staff. Car broke down and I needed a hotel for the night, we booked 4 rooms as we are a large family, Staff where very helpful and polite, The receptionist wanted to test her English out so we spoke English the whole time, beds are great and dogs are alllowed for 12 € more.. Breakfast was fantastic

The rooms are small, but very clean. It is a quiet place, that allows some really good rest. The employees are very nice and help wherever possible. I stayed there a week and one day we asked one of the employees if we were allowed to move all seats in the reception area together to have a quiet party. Its a great place to stay if you are looking for a bread and breakfast place in herzo . It's a beautify Hotel run by lovely German couple the Mullers . The owners are very relaxed and sweet people and are pretty friendly with the guest. Most of the rooms come with a small kitchen and the bungalows are quite spacious so its a pretty good place if you planning to stay at herzo for a while

Basic but ok Very basic. It’s an Apartment in a building 100 yards away from main hotel. Room has two single beds with very thin soft pillow, room was boiling hot with no air in - open the windows. I would recommend staying in the main hotel.

Very nice place. Unfortunately, a homeless person lives there. Whatever you smell. I don't know why the church needs to put the gentleman right there. It seems the homeless shelters are full.

I found my stay excellent. The staff was extremely polite and courteous. The kitchen took a little longer because a guest ordered 5 kg of oven cheese and this seemed to have priority. I couldn't quite understand why, the waitress said he would eat even more table decorations otherwise. So I continued my stay and went to the sauna, when I found bent boards in one of these saunas, and in the next one...

When I wanted to enjoy my frog legs in the restaurant, a fairly fat but also very fit man at the next table looked at me. He only had a pork schnitzel baked with oven cheese and asked me if he could try it with me. Unfortunately I had to say no, but offered him the chance to lick the plate. He wasn't averse.

I received a very warm welcome here. The entire service and facility is first class! However, I have a small criticism: Apparently another hotel guest had smuggled a rutting boar into the hotel. There is no other way to explain these grunting and roaring noises to me. Also strong odor nuisance.

Great stay at Smart Inn Extremely friendly front desk. Breakfast was included in my package. They also provide bicycle in case you wish to go around. Have Gazebo to relax & sit outside. Have adjacent Italian/Indian restaurant. Lidl supermarket is also nearby at 350 m distance.

This is a lovely family run hotel that actually made us feel like part of the family from the moment that we arrived. Nothing felt like too much trouble. This friendly and welcoming hotel is run brilliantly but a lovely family. The room was great and the breakfast each morning was a real treat. Nothing was too much trouble and I was well looked after throughout my stay. The outside pool area with well kept rose bushes was an ideal place to relax and both the local bus and train services are very close by making travelling very easy. I will be back soon

When i arrived the evening there was cold in the room...the hotel is a bit like a maze, different paths in the morning/evening. Kinda obsolete I would say. The breakfast on the other hand was very good.

Hotel has convenient location close to motorway. The rooms were spacious, clean, but looked little bit outdated, however, well equipped. I have always liked this Hotel due to its close proximity to my office. They have decently sized rooms, with almost all rooms with kitchen facility. Provide bikes for free( 5€, refundable deposit). Last but definitely not the least, there breakfast menu is awesome. Reducing one 🌟 as they a bit on the higher range in terms of room rent keeping in mind it's Erlangen (not so big city)!

The rooms are small and cozy, the beds are comfortable however the pillows are way too large. The showers are walk-in, however there is only a little glass wall to stop the water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. The water pressure is pretty low.

A good modern hotel, conveniently located in 20 minutes walk from the downtown and just a couple of hundred meters from the S-bahn station, in Siemens campus. Friendly and helpful personnel. Everything was satisfied, but need to keeping house clean because there were too much smells by foot odor from the floors. It was terrible. Also, while sleeping, everyone in the room needs to wake up in force when someone wants to go to the toilet because of the automatic sensor lights.

It was a nice, quite place. But the price was crazy. There was only breakfast included. And the nearest place to visit takes around 5 euro with bus, around takes about 30 minutes. Sort of middle of nowhere. Without visiting with a car, it is a nightmare, given there is abosutely nothing around.

Excellent breakfast; this the breakfast is worth staying there. No problems with the car - for downtown Erlangen a big plus! It is a good place to stay because is near to center, my room was very quite. In case of a next trip in this city, I will choose this hotel definitely.
