Where to stay in Herzogenaurach

If only all hotels were like this! Big, modern hotel with very modern, well-maintained rooms. Everything spotlessly clean. All of the staff members were welcoming and helpful, even going the extra mile to print out some forms we required due to travel restriction changes. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, as was the breakfast buffet. Also, very family friendly - they provided colouring pencils...

I have search high and low for a nice hotel room with a private jacuzzi in the room, not far from home. So happy I have found this jewel 💓

Cheap rooms and very modern. A car is a must to arrive, but it's very close to the Puma and Adidas factories so ideal if you want to shop there. We stayed there as a stopover for a long journey and were impressed by their Suite room.

Very nice place. Unfortunately, a homeless person lives there. Whatever you smell. I don't know why the church needs to put the gentleman right there. It seems the homeless shelters are full.

I found my stay excellent. The staff was extremely polite and courteous. The kitchen took a little longer because a guest ordered 5 kg of oven cheese and this seemed to have priority. I couldn't quite understand why, the waitress said he would eat even more table decorations otherwise. So I continued my stay and went to the sauna, when I found bent boards in one of these saunas, and in the next one...

When I wanted to enjoy my frog legs in the restaurant, a fairly fat but also very fit man at the next table looked at me. He only had a pork schnitzel baked with oven cheese and asked me if he could try it with me. Unfortunately I had to say no, but offered him the chance to lick the plate. He wasn't averse.

I received a very warm welcome here. The entire service and facility is first class! However, I have a small criticism: Apparently another hotel guest had smuggled a rutting boar into the hotel. There is no other way to explain these grunting and roaring noises to me. Also strong odor nuisance.

Great value money and what you get! The hotel is renovated and refurnished, great place for transit, really calm and at the same time you are in the middle of shopping zone, free parking (as well with vand), good breakfast, easy check in, nice staff. Really small rooms, do better the cleaning (i can see what is done and not done as a former owner of the hotel and even the cheaper one) and NO hot water...

Car broke down and I needed a hotel for the night, we booked 4 rooms as we are a large family, Staff where very helpful and polite, The receptionist wanted to test her English out so we spoke English the whole time, beds are great and dogs are alllowed for 12 € more.. Breakfast was fantastic

Spacious clean apartment, very good breakfast with a lot of choices. Location in a small shopping mall with a good bakery, big supermarket and a lovely Vietnamese restaurant.

The rooms are small, but very clean. It is a quiet place, that allows some really good rest. The employees are very nice and help wherever possible. I stayed there a week and one day we asked one of the employees if we were allowed to move all seats in the reception area together to have a quiet party. It was possible and we had a great time until around 12:30 AM. Ofcourse we left everything as clean...

Simple hotel in walking distance to Erlangen Old Town. Rooms have basic equipment, but are clean. Staff is very friendly.

When i arrived the evening there was cold in the room...the hotel is a bit like a maze, different paths in the morning/evening. Kinda obsolete I would say. The breakfast on the other hand was very good.

The rooms are small and cozy, the beds are comfortable however the pillows are way too large. The showers are walk-in, however there is only a little glass wall to stop the water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. The water pressure is pretty low.

This hotel is perfect for what it is. A place to sleep that is great price value. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The bathroom is spacious. The only downside is that they don’t have family rooms so if you are a family then you’ll have to take two rooms

"The Niu " seems to be a new brand within IHG. The room appears lightful and fresh and is clean and well equipped. I also like the color concept and the open space work area in the lobby. A good modern hotel, conveniently located in 20 minutes walk from the downtown and just a couple of hundred meters from the S-bahn station, in Siemens campus. Friendly and helpful personnel. Rooms are equipped with tiny kitchens, which is a good bonus. There are few supermarkets nearby, bakery downstairs and a couple of restaurants across the street.

Hotel is good with service. But no restorent in hotel not near but 2miles. Need to check if you have car as bus is very far away and very poor transport connectivity to these hotel

Everything was satisfied, but need to keeping house clean because there were too much smells by foot odor from the floors. It was terrible. Also, while sleeping, everyone in the room needs to wake up in force when someone wants to go to the toilet because of the automatic sensor lights.

It was a nice, quite place. But the price was crazy. There was only breakfast included. And the nearest place to visit takes around 5 euro with bus, around takes about 30 minutes. Sort of middle of nowhere. Without visiting with a car, it is a nightmare, given there is abosutely nothing around.

Really nice hotel in a great location close to train station and main high street. Very clean and tidy. We only stayed on B&B basis but the choice and quality of breakfast food and drink was amazing. My only gripe, and it's a small gripe, is that there are no drawers in the room. Plenty of wardrobe space but no drawers so underwear and socks were stored in the safe. It is a good place to stay because is near to center, my room was very quite. In case of a next trip in this city, I will choose this hotel definitely. It seems strange for me the opening way of the doors. Seem unsafe because you can hit someone if he/she is passing on the hall when you open the door.

Hotel receptionists are very nice and helpful, but the facilities are not doing well. My first night was so hard since the room was like a furniture. I had to attend a business meeting with 0 hour sleep since the air conditioning did not work. I reported this the day after and the receptionists took an immediate action.

I location is good as close to eating places, close to train station and shopping area with reasonable price. Room and service are acceptable with good English speaking person. They have some old folks at reception which serve at slower pace but good to see the employed senior citizen. Cleanliness is one of the value prop for this hotel and do appreciate the ladies who perform their task in great extend...

The hotel is not big. After arriving at the hotel in the afternoon, we waited until the check-in time but were not able to check in immediately. The room was not ready yet. We waited for half an hour before checking in. It is very convenient to go out for shopping. Erlangen is not big. The town is very comfortable and it is also very comfortable to walk around. It is also very close to the bus station

The hotel offered us standard rooms, comfortable beds, rather small bathroom, everything clean and well maintained. The breakfast was one of the richest I've ever had at this level. We stopped over for just one night on a longer trip, there is just one place - small pizzeria - to dine within a walking distance.

A somewhat old fashioned hotel, but in a good sense! Very helpful, polite and friendly personnel, neat chambers. A hotel just to sleep and have a good breakfast in. Most excellent of the hotel is the location. In the centre of the old town, at a quite spot, just behind the central park. Nearby is Steinbach brewery (Top location!!).

A very nice stylish Hotel, located in the centre of Erlangen. You can reach almost everything on foot or a Bicycle from the Hotel borrow. This Service I find easy top. Car Parking there is, of course. In the vicinity of the University hospital, the Botanical garden, the margravial theatre and the city Museum. Thumbs up!

Thia place is very net and clean. The room is big with complementary drink place on the table. Has had kettle for a late night coffee. Restaurant was great and the room was clean, tidy and spacious. Rooms don’t have air conditioning but there is a fan in the cupboard. Free lollies are a nice touch.

Modern, nice building, cozy apartement, large, good bed, large terrace doors, nice view to the trees behind the building. You can park your car before the door. Price is very good. Good bakery, other shops not too far, 2-3 mins by car, 5 with bicycle.

The room was very comfortable, equipment all ok, and the hotel is very well located, 10 minutes from the Siemens Healthineers Training Center and also 10 minutes from the center of Erlangen. Breakfast with plenty of choices, a very special point for delicious honey!!

Love the idea of this hotel. Great friendly staff, comfy rooms! Next time I want to stay in a Nachwachsendem room. With ceilings made from straw and a shower developed by NASA! So cool!

We did not stay at the Hotel but were part of a birthday party so we just came for breakfast and later hung around a little. The staff was super nice, the breakfast was great and mostly local products. Besides the whole place tries to give nature back as much as possible. We loved the rooftop lounge! This really is a place Worte to check out and support.
