We stranded in Hilden as our car broke down in the middle of the night and we had to find a place to stay for us and our baby. All team members of the hotel were so helpful and kind, provided additional space for us to let our baby nap and feed her until a rental car was arranged. This is a great hotel with an amazing breakfast, super friendly personnel and very nice facilities (pool, sauna, roof deck, parking, restaurant etc.)! I would absolutely recommend a stay!

The staff were very friendly (although did wake me up for something that was their own mistake). The rooms were clean and the showers are great, lovely and hot and high pressure. The swimming pool area is also really nice for relaxing. Lots of choice for breakfast but would be good if they offered something to take if leaving before the restaurant opens in the morning.

Great old hotel in the heart of Hilden. Within walking distance of everything with a great Italian restaurant connected to it. Great breakfast and staff. My room was perfectly fine but nothing too exciting and there is no AC due to the age of the building but that's to be expected in Germany. Lovely experience.

Very reasonably priced, extremely pet friendly and all the staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The new owners have made big changes and are in the process of updating the hotel whilst keeping its typical German Gaststätte character

A nice hotel on a very beautiful spot: you can see the Rhine from the hotel and you are walking distance from the palace and park. The hotel itself was very warm in summer, with no airco, that was a bit too bad. Furthermore the hotel is clean, the people are friendly (in a German way) and the food is good.

I really like this place, its just near the river an amazing quiet and nice place, you can sit outside and enjoy your beer or whatever you ordered, the service is good and fast.

The location is convenient, close to the station, and there are many affordable restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets nearby. When I checked in, the receptionist only spoke German, so communication was a little difficult, but at other times there were people who spoke English.

We were here for a fantastic meal about 2 years ago and were very impressed. Since then the concept has changed considerably. No amuse bouche only baguette was the first noticeable difference. Rhythmic gymnastics team arrived for a competition on Friday. We occupy the hotel for two nights. There are 14 of us and they offer us 2 rooms in the hotel and 5 rooms on the ground floor (motel type). Good breakfast at 13 euros per person, both sweet and savory with renewal of products as soon as they run out.

It was a nice hotel, inexpensive, and easily accessible to the city. It was clean, too, and the bed was incredibly comfortable!

There was no one there so I didn't know how to check in.

Stayed for 2 nights, i discovered the room cleaning was not provided by the hotel, but only upon request, and needed to be asked, never happened in hotel of that level, nobody told me that at the check in. Remained 2 days without it cleaned. No coffee machine and water boiler in the room. Very strange for a 300 euro per night hotel room. At the check out they did not even apologize for that issue.

A good hotel with very friendly staff. They have a good kitchen with a huge variety of meals for all. The rooms are nice, clean but a bit dated except for the renewed bathrooms.
