Stayed for 2 nights, i discovered the room cleaning was not provided by the hotel, but only upon request, and needed to be asked, never happened in hotel of that level, nobody told me that at the check in. Remained 2 days without it cleaned. No coffee machine and water boiler in the room. Very strange for a 300 euro per night hotel room. At the check out they did not even apologize for that issue.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay in Hotel Alberga. Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent. Our room was large with desk and chairs for work. The shower was the best we've ever had - great pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent with great choice of cereal, fruit, cheese and freshly cooked eggs. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The welcome was professional and helpful. Very clean and spacious room which I could easily darken with blinds during the summer night. The location is really far away. It takes more than 30 minutes to drive to Dusseldorf and more than an hour to drive back during the morning rush hour. The parking lot under the hotel is 12.5 euros per night. The facilities are quite old, but fortunately they are relatively clean and there is plenty of hot water for bathing.

Great personnel, super friendly. Slightly outdated decor but well maintained. We don't recommend the restaurant linked to the hotel because of poor maintanence but they do serve large food portions and their staff is kind.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the smash burgers! I've been searching for good burgers for years, and I'd also eaten here before, so they definitely changed the recipe or did something, because the burger is incredibly delicious! Rooms at first look amazing, but it was very cold in basement rooms and the heater didnt want to start running. People passing by can see in your room from the streets. Workers at reception are not always there.

We were one night in the Hotel and we are very satisfied. The room was spacious and very clean, with laminate instead of a dusty carpet, very friendly staff, rich buffet breakfasts, and a price/performance ratio, you can see the difference. Underground parking lot is available as paid service even for the outside parking you have to pay. "Die Krone" is a really nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly, really nice people! Rhythmic gymnastics team arrived for a competition on Friday. We occupy the hotel for two nights. There are 14 of us and they offer us 2 rooms in the hotel and 5 rooms on the ground floor (motel type). Good breakfast at 13 euros per person, both sweet and savory with renewal of products as soon as they run out.

Clean, quiet. I have used it as due to a fair (Messe) nothing was available in Essen area. It did require a bit more travel with public transportation, but it was manageable. Google Maps shows the proper ways to get there. Let me also mention the extra kindness to provide me an iron (which is not basic here, but could still be managed) without extra costs. Really kind. We stayed here for 9 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was good, had a closet for clothes, no drawers, room was spacious, bed comfortable, staff were great. The only thing is their Buffett breakfast is too expensive, 17.50 Euro per person. There is a bakery up the street behind the church, it had some great breakfast sandwiches, so we chose to eat there. Our brother from Konya, the owner of a clean Turkish hotel. We have a sister from Aksaray who is responsible for everything in the hotel. It is a perfect boutique hotel. In a quiet town hilden where you can relieve the tiredness of the day, buy a 2 ticket to Dusseldorf 45 minutes by train. 2,80 euros is my one-way recommendation.

We had a breakdown late in the evening and needed a place to sleep. Since the time we arrived almost around 1200 PM, we were kindly helped at the door by the owner I think who was picked up for us by someone sitting in the lobby, and we got a spacious room very comfortable. It was great that he was able to help us at the last minute.
