dear sir or madam the hotel is very good, fine details and quality overall. our room was exceptional good, with a bathtub in the middle. Breakfast fine dinner and the buffet was not good, there the hotel could do something to allow menu to chose from. The pizza was not cooked, potatoes not tasting well and meat was only one choice. This Hotel has or had a great reputation but did not live up to my expectations. The room they provided us was extremely small for a couple and the overall impressions of the Hotel facilities was not as expected. Room for improvement I believe.

A really fantastic experience! The hotel, surrounding gardens and activities, food and staff were all really great. The staff especially was very kind and attentive, making it a very welcoming and comfortable experience. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing and invigorating experience to stay at this remarkable hotel!

Lovely place. One of the best hotels on earth. Now to be picky, the music needs to be better in the lounge/bar at Tenne. They need a better wine list across the hotel... more good Spatburgunder and Riesling. They need to update the gym. Other than that, I absolutely love this place.

Have been here on a seminar, excellent place for seminars, with great food. The spa facilities are also very good. Aside from work, my wife and I will come for a relaxing weekend.

The hotel was chosen because we wanted a hotel in Mettmann where were visiting friends. The good thing is 24 hour service and enough parking space free of charge. People were very friendly. Currently staying, beddings and towels are extremely clean. You could find what ever you need in the room without unnecessary luxurious details. Breakfast has more than enough options.Great value. Friendly service.

we stays in 10/2023 in this hotel. nice place to stay near Dusseldorf , actually located in Mettman but very close to the surrounding cities. Had a nice 2 nights stay , breakfast also delicious!!

Excellent staff , excellent breakfast and evening meal ( the buffet salad is superb ) . Sauna , gym , Good night's sleep.

Basic room with fridge and bathroom, but the bed, the mattress is very firm. I found it uncomfortable. You also get 1 pillow, which is flimsy

Great personnel, super friendly. Slightly outdated decor but well maintained. We don't recommend the restaurant linked to the hotel because of poor maintanence but they do serve large food portions and their staff is kind.

Clean, friendly staff, not so far from Dusseldorf, quiet area, good chinesse restaurant in the hotel, fair price. In total: excellent price/value ratio !!!

I have stayed at this hotel with my father and partner many times before. A small and cosy hotel with a super friendly team. Across the road from the best pub in Mattmann, Tibtap. With parking underground and discounted when staying at the property, there is no other place I would stay when visiting Mettmann Or Düsseldorf. With easy and direct access to busses and trains you can make your way around...

First of all, the food is great, the concept is great. It has a real American vibe. That being said. The room wasnt up to standards. 1. A heavy cannabis smell in our room. 2. The duvet was beyond dirty. 3. The pillow is like a piece of cardboard, that flat. I told the staff about the cannabis, she was more amused then shocked. I was not. It gave me a nasty headache.... Cool place with an awesome atmosphere. The family burger was very tasty. They are using kebab bred as buns. Some of our group were so happy about the delicious desserts! All waiters are very friendly.

Wonderful experience! We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was massive and had a whirlpool. It was great for some much needed relaxation. Only real complaint is the confederate flag flying next to the US flag. As an American who does not support the flying of that flag, it feels a bit tone deaf to fly the fake flag of a failed uprising that has become a symbol of hate, next to my country’s actual...

Hotel is very cozy, has a free parking and the owners are very kind and helpful. The view from the rooms to the garden is fantastic.

Friendly and helpful owner. Hotel is some 10 minutes from Dusseldorf. Expect traffic jams on the highway in the morning.

Rooms at first look amazing, but it was very cold in basement rooms and the heater didnt want to start running. People passing by can see in your room from the streets. Workers at reception are not always there.

We were one night in the Hotel and we are very satisfied. The room was spacious and very clean, with laminate instead of a dusty carpet, very friendly staff, rich buffet breakfasts, and a price/performance ratio, you can see the difference. We recommend the Hotel on each case, and at the next visit to Mettmann, we already know where we will stay again...!

The food was fantastic, a huge compliment to the sauces, they were just awesome, you can taste that the sauces are freshly made by us, since I'm a trained chef myself, I taste something like that immediately. The portions are made for real men, finally men get something for their money. The service was very courteous, friendly and always on the ball. Price-performance ratio is absolutely justified...

Nice hotel, the rooms have just been renovated and sometimes still give a somewhat unfinished impression. The restaurant was closed, it was Sunday, what a shame. Sauna and pool are simple but neat. The area invites you to go for a walk when the weather is nice, very dog-friendly! Despite the small flaws for me 5 stars in the evaluation, because I would come again.

The Hotel was just great. It is centrally located and has many opportunities for activities. The Zimmner beds are a dream, a wonderful box spring beds, you sleep like on clouds. The Pool is ebenvalls super, there is nothing better than to swim in front of the Breakfast table. The Kröhnung the whole of the Restaurant was that it was incredibly good. So I was perfectly Happy, and am looking forward...

I found the restaurant through an appointment for a private meeting. As soon as I entered, I felt catapulted back into a distant past, and therefore felt at home straight away (although I found chairs really uncomfortable for long periods of time). The menu is clear, but the dishes are really tasty. Simple German cuisine, freshly prepared ... what have I missed that ... the staff friendly and the prices...

We had a very pleasant evening in the Jägerhaus. The service is friendly and competent and the hearty cuisine was delicious. All in all, we had the impression of having stayed with a host who goes about his trade with passion.

Nice little establishment with friendly staff and good food. If you want to grab a beer while watching a game on the TVs, you're at the right place too 😉

Friendly multilingual staff, clean and spacious rooms with a nice view. Nearby Düsseldorf but far enough away from the busy centre. Good breakfast buffet. 24h reception is a big plus. Not always parking spots on the front parking but always a spot within short walking distance.

Clean hotel with a bit old furniture, service is friendly and helpful. However parking here is a mess. Underground parking lot is available as paid service even for the outside parking you have to pay. The underground parking is a narrow spot where you will have to be pretty good in exact parking and snakey to get out of your car. Guaranteed dent and scratch area. To pay for this gives you a rip off...

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. We stayed due to an early visit to the Neanderthal museum. Good value for money and quiet.

I cannot thank enough Gabriela for her warm welcome and wonderful service. I have never felt like home in any other hotel in my life like I did at Hotel Garni. She, her husband Toni and all staff were VERY VERY VERY wonderful!!!! The hotel is also very clean, and the breakfast is excellent!

Small hotel. Very nice staff. Clean. Slept very well. Decent breakfast. Enough sockets to charge my bazillion smartphones and laptops (5 actually). Free parking spaces behind the hotel. Wifi is good.

Room was too small. WiFi connection was very slow. The mattress was uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep. The breakfast was good, the bathroom very clean and the staff very kind.
