The hotel was chosen because we wanted a hotel in Mettmann where were visiting friends. The good thing is 24 hour service and enough parking space free of charge. People were very friendly. Stayed for 2 nights, i discovered the room cleaning was not provided by the hotel, but only upon request, and needed to be asked, never happened in hotel of that level, nobody told me that at the check in. Remained 2 days without it cleaned. No coffee machine and water boiler in the room. Very strange for a 300 euro per night hotel room. At the check out they did not even apologize for that issue.

Great personnel, super friendly. Slightly outdated decor but well maintained. We don't recommend the restaurant linked to the hotel because of poor maintanence but they do serve large food portions and their staff is kind.

Very friendly staff, hotelrooms were pretty and clean. Breakfast looked good, parking right in front of the hotel. Only small remark is: the walls are thin so we could hear when people would make noice or talk loudly. But besides that, perfect. Would go again.

Underground parking lot is available as paid service even for the outside parking you have to pay. The hotel is in a great location, with various shopping options (Norma, Netto, etc.) and excellent public transport connections. It's even possible to open the window completely. (1st floor)

Rhythmic gymnastics team arrived for a competition on Friday. We occupy the hotel for two nights. There are 14 of us and they offer us 2 rooms in the hotel and 5 rooms on the ground floor (motel type). Good breakfast at 13 euros per person, both sweet and savory with renewal of products as soon as they run out.

It was a nice hotel, inexpensive, and easily accessible to the city. It was clean, too, and the bed was incredibly comfortable!

We stayed here for 9 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was good, had a closet for clothes, no drawers, room was spacious, bed comfortable, staff were great. The only thing is their Buffett breakfast is too expensive, 17.50 Euro per person. There is a bakery up the street behind the church, it had some great breakfast sandwiches, so we chose to eat there. The staff were very friendly (although did wake me up for something that was their own mistake). The rooms were clean and the showers are great, lovely and hot and high pressure. The swimming pool area is also really nice for relaxing. Lots of choice for breakfast but would be good if they offered something to take if leaving before the restaurant opens in the morning.

Great old hotel in the heart of Hilden. Within walking distance of everything with a great Italian restaurant connected to it. Great breakfast and staff. My room was perfectly fine but nothing too exciting and there is no AC due to the age of the building but that's to be expected in Germany. Lovely experience.

You can't find a Speck of Dust in the whole place. The most comfortable bed and pillows. The staff very polite, kind and attentive. The automat in the lobby has drinks at a fair price. Perfectly fine My stay in Ratingen was perfectly fine. I have no complaints. The taxi to the airport is expensive and there's a €5 additional drop off charge so that should be taken into account, when "saving" money on accommodation near the airport.

I missed a refrigerator in the room and if you come late in de evening to the hotel you can not park the car. Also there was not a watercooker and cofee or thee in the room. But all the other thing were good.

I can talk a lot about the advantages of this hotel, but I want to highlight the most basic ones. The owners of the hotel have made this place so comfortable and cozy that you will feel like at home. Stayed here for some training recently and the hotel is great. It's modern and spotlessly clean and the owners and staff are incredibly helpful We had a dinner with a group of about 30 people on both nights we stayed and the food was excellent. Breakfast was great too. Lots of choice and they would make something for you if you asked I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Velbert
