I love the small town of Langenfeld. so beautiful here. The staff is kind, the room is great, and the breakfast is fantastic. I like that my room had a door to section off the bathroom and entry from the bedroom/sleeping quarters.

All is perfect... But lack of clima 🤪 when on outside was 35C is non comfortable

Well, what can I say, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was not too bad but quite small. It was clean. The bed was terrible, the matress was far too soft in the middle. The bathroom was small, actually quite right. The breakfast wasn't too bad. There was a good choice. In summery, it wasn't worth the money I paid.

Family-run small hotel, with friendliest staff, excellent food and cosy rooms. We stayed at the gorgeous and recently renovated room 102 and had an excellent experience overall. The staff cannot be more caring and polite. Every aspect of the hotel is properly taken care of. Easy and convenient to reach by car, on a quiet neighbourhood.

Lovely stay at the Romantik. Staff very friendly especially Herr Cam and gentleman on front desk. We attended a family party and the food was very good. Will definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area.

What can I say, what a lovely little gem in the countryside just outside of Solingen. Very neat and clean, the building is very well maintained and the rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. It has a decent air conditioning unit in the room and whilst I was only able to stay for breakfast on the day, the food was superb. If your looking for a "Romantic" getaway, look no further. Highly recommended

Very good hotel in the middle of langenfeld. Room perfectly adequate and nice restaurant underneath. Very handy for buses and train station.

Short stay Room was clean and bright. My room was above over the bar terrace which was a bit noisy if you want an early night. Breakfast was not a buffet but you could ask for what you wanted. Very convenient location for shops and restaurants and for travelling into Cologne or Dusseldorf.

We stayed 4 days in the city hotel Langenfeld and can only recommend it. The rooms are small but nice and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful (not in buffet form). The entire staff is friendly and motivated. We'd love to come back.

Rooms are too small, the bathroom is very small, you can't move without bumping into something. Bed is not comfortable. No air conditioning, so the room was quite warm. Breakfast is not bad.

Hotel was good, location not so much; teenagers walking by threw rocks at us while we were waiting outside. However, this isn't the fault of the hotel

The room was what we expected - a place to lay our head for a night. It seemed misplaced in a neighborhood that needed renovation. We were asked to park on the back-side of the hotel, which seemed like a driveway to a run-down mall with no parking. The hotel was nice enough on the inside. If you just need to get some shut-eye, this will work. I wouldn't stay here as a destination.

We were here for a fantastic meal about 2 years ago and were very impressed. Since then the concept has changed considerably. No amuse bouche only baguette was the first noticeable difference. Lovely hotel in paradise. 10 minutes from city center and 10 minutes to highway. Lovely quiet rooms in the middle of nature. Only thing I would recommend mosquito screens to be installed to avoid those little devil's coming into the room in the summer time as hotel is next to river and mosquitoes love this area. The place was empty (but it is August...), yet we wanted to book again on the weekend and it was fully booked, I therefore strongly recommend a reservation (and probably a week ahead). Overall, everything is very good, the room is clean, not far from the train station. There is only one minus. In the morning there was no hot water in the shower, I waited 15 minutes for the cold water to flow, hoping that hot water would come, but there was no hot water. I had to bathe in cold water.

This was a great place. The room was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. The staff are wonderful. There was a good restaurant next door and a good Thai restaurant in a close walking distance.

Inexpensive ... get what you pay for. The property is quite dated. I guess is it mostly a hostel? We had individual rooms with bathroom, but it looked like most rooms were just bedrooms with shared bath.

Awesome place with good amenities

The price is alright. Staff is also friendly but the worst part is checking in if you come late in the evening. The reception closes at 10:00 and after that you cannot reach anybody via phone (also not via the emergency hotline!) If you need anything, you can forget that you’ll get any help.

We stranded in Hilden as our car broke down in the middle of the night and we had to find a place to stay for us and our baby. The place to stay is great. The staff is very friendly and caring, even sometimes they call to make sure everything is fine (for example, when you return after midnight). During the three days of my stay, I did not find a single sin (although, I am not picky). Everything is clean and well maintained, including the restaurant and the pool. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are comfortable.

Good hotel with decent rooms. The people at reception were helpful. Preferably ask for rooms which do not face the Rathaus-galerie as the other side rooms have a problem of sound due to vehicles all night long. Breakfast was European and was good for people eating meat. In the scrambled eggs I found small stones which was very unlikely.

Our brother from Konya, the owner of a clean Turkish hotel. We have a sister from Aksaray who is responsible for everything in the hotel. It is a perfect boutique hotel. In a quiet town hilden where you can relieve the tiredness of the day, buy a 2 ticket to Dusseldorf 45 minutes by train. 2,80 euros is my one-way recommendation.

We had a breakdown late in the evening and needed a place to sleep. Since the time we arrived almost around 1200 PM, we were kindly helped at the door by the owner I think who was picked up for us by someone sitting in the lobby, and we got a spacious room very comfortable. It was great that he was able to help us at the last minute.

My girlfriend and I had a comfortable and pleasant stay, our room and bathroom was clean and large, the location was convenient, the breakfast was brilliant and most of all, the staff were friendly, welcoming and treated us kindly. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and that didn't disappoint either - great service with good, honest food. We'll stay again when we're next in town.

Great price compared to other hotels during the Christmas Market season. Even included buffet breakfast. Not the most "luxurious" of hotels but everything was clean and tidy. Great for a couple of nights or quick stopover.
