The room was really big enough for 3 persons. It was very clean and well equipped. It had a nice view to the mountains. The breakfast was fine. The staff were friendly.

We found this hostel on our way to Italy and called to book for a room late at night. It was not a problem that we arrived at 23:00. They Whatsapp'ed me a parking spot where they were waiting for us with their shuttle bus. Then the shuttle bus drove 20 minutes +- up a mountain to reach the hostel in the middle of nowhere (ask for the wifi). It felt sketchy at first, but it was an awesome experience...

Nice apartment great location but were in the neighboring building. The only complaints: you cannot lock the bathroom, there are not wardrobes in all rooms and the TV was a bit intact.

We spent a few nights at the Alpenhotel as a family with our young son. Our stay was just a dream. The kitchen is excellent, we haven't eaten so well in a long time. The staff is very friendly and tries to fulfill every wish. We would definitely book again.

Wonderful location. I was there for a wedding. It was the most romantic. It is a place to take as a base to explore the Allgäu. There is a place to buy Bergkäse on the corner that is award winning. Very recommendable.

the hotel is very good, it has many rooms also suited for huge groups. I was there for a Company Meeting with around 100 people. everything was perfect, rooms, food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. I didnt have time to enjoy all the leisure stuff like swimmingpools, bowling, videogames, ping pong and more. I believe I will return here with my family.

Everything was very nice and well taken care of. The Hotel has a lot of small details for the guests that make the stay really enjoyable. The wellness area is wonderful with a dim lighting that helps to get into relaxation mood and wonderful views to the mountains. Water lounge with resting area (with hammocks and beds) is very extraordinary and relaxing. All the details are taken care of. Very well maintained, super good organized ( they clean your room when you are at breakfast , so you are not disturb later in your leisure time) and clean hotel.

Our third time here, brilliant each time nothing to fault. Staff are kind and professional, making you feel very welcome and cared for. Hotel offers a wonderful pool and an excellent wellness spa. A very nicely renovated house. Top modern apartment. Super WLan supply. Fly screens on the windows, handicraft room, bicycle cellar, ski cellar, laundry room, washing machine and dryer, sauna, whirlpool, breakfast... what more could you want. We stayed in hotel Berwanger Hof for a week. For some time together for the two of us. And as a base for cycling tours around the Allgäu. The place is great. Very nice location: quit, with a wonderful view. Nice spa (to relax after cycling or treat yourself to wonderful, professional massages). Amazing food. And everybody here is super nice and attentive. Simply everything we hoped for.

We ended up walking the very steep Rosengasse in Bad Hindelang and found hotel Sonneck and one last available room at € 173,- What seemed like a lot of money turned out to be worth every penny of it! Excellent family run hotel. We had the "feel-well" package with breakfast, dinner and afternoon cake&coffee. Dinner is excellent, you can tell that the chef (dad of the family) is putting his heart into it. The mom, running everything else, takes excellent care of the guests. The grandma makes amazing cakes for tea-time. Rooms are cute and well maintained.

This "hotel" could be made into a real one. What is obviously missing is a cook and a dishwasher. The latter would be easy to obtain, but with the cook it becomes more difficult. The Hotel is very nice, the full service very nice and accommodating. It's all there, indoor swimming pool, a Spa tub, a Sauna, and infrared. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a balcony. The TV could be bigger. Breakfast was very good. I also had a cosmetic treatment, which I really liked. From the Hotel it is baptized a short walk to the centre of the top. I'll definitely be back !

It is advertised as a four star which I would say is correct for the breakfast buffe (fresh honeycomb was a really nice touch!) and spa area but not for the rooms. These are more of three star quality. The locations is in a tiny quiet village two km away from Oberstdorf which you can walk to if you want.

Food is generally good, but lacks a little bit of uniqueness compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood. The restaurant looks and feels more modern compared to other local places which is a nice refreshing experience. Can recommend!

The organisation to avoid Covid contact was remarkable. And the food was delicious.
