The walk into the city was a bit long, but the old town with all its beautiful facades made up for it. It had a pleasant atmosphere.

Das Essen war eine 10/10. Wirklich lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer waren für einen Kurzaufenthalt vollkommen ausreichend.

Ich war bereits 2mal hier, jeweils als Geschäftsreisender. Es ist aber sicher auch für den Urlaub mit der Familie zu empfehlen. Essen und Wellness Angebot top. Personal sehr freundlich, die Ausstattung super. Probiert es selbst!

Das Komplettangebot überzeugt. Das Hotel bietet alles für einen Aufenthalt über ein paar Tage. All inklusive ist sehr gut, Essen abwechslungsreich, Getränke vielfältig. Sport und Wellness alles gut. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ist das Personal.

The rooms are simple, but spacious and very clean. (Large bathroom adapted for handicapped people) Exceptional staff, always kind and helpful. Breakfast ok. Dinner offered (!) from Monday to Thursday (10€ if you have à visitor). Simple but tasty. Not too far from the centre, tram stop right outside.

The hotel makes a good impression and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the rooms leave a lot to be desired.

Very good hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Although the furniture is fully functional, it could be invested in a new and modern one, because it reminds of the times from the previous state. Accommodation prices are roughly the same as in the city center, although the hotel is a few kilometers away from the center. Meals are big and of high quality.

Traveling to Jena, Germany and stays at B&b Hotel was one of my first time I stayed in secure place, cleaned, real time service, and amazing healthy breakfast was my best experience in Germany. This is my second time staying at this hotel, and everything is perfect! The room was clean, the bathroom was also clean, with white towels, The bed was comfortable! Excellent breakfasts! Great hotel for a great price. Clean, modern, well equipped. Quadruple room was great for us and our two kids. Would love to have parking better marked as well as signs at the back entrance. We arrived after dark and it was a bit uncomfortable driving around back of the building, but once we found our way it was just fine. Would certainly stay here again!

The room was a little small, but that makes sense because it is an old building. The service was great, especially for someone who doesn't speak German. There was a Christmas fair right across the street, which was so fun, and there were so many options for great food within walking distance. Also, there was super easy parking as well.

We stayed for 3 nights and it is a good hotel in a good location. We had planned to stay at a different hotel in Weimar but left after finding the room had bugs. Fantastic location right on the main town square and next to Bach's former residence. Rooms are wonderful, staff is very accomodating. Restaurant was very good and the overall experienced was all very high quality. Needless to say, a hotel with a great deal of history as well definitely worth staying in!

The hotel is much larger than it appears from the entrance and the public areas are nicely decorated and maintained. Drink prices in the bar are reasonable and breakfast choices are very good but expensive. Our superior room was large and furnished in keeping with the hotel and nearby Bauhaus principles. Fantastic Service in a beautyful setting!!

Living there was like travelling back in time to Goethe's and Schiller's age. The place is ideal to go to all the museums nearby. A disadvantage is the parking house beneath the nearby Schiller Shopping Centre.

Wonderful breakfast and great staff. The rooms were so thoughtfully done- you are in the heart of the city. Quiet, except our room looked out into the street and we had some really interesting dialogs throughout the night. The town seem to be yawning for visitors, but this is beautiful place to visit.

I basically write this review to complain that the fitness room is total crap, but except for that it was a nice stay. Not my style of deco but the comfort was there and the breakfast was delicious. If it had been two people in the room, it would‘ve lacked a space to comfortably open the second suitcase.

We had a good sized with balcony and air conditioning which found the high temperature (30°+) quite challenging. Nevertheless it was welcome. Perfectly fine typical German provincial Hotel. The location right at the station is great, the Hotel is set in a nice building and while some elements of the Hotel are clearly rather dated, it is all very well cared for. Service was quick and polite so, combined with the good pricing this hotel is a perfect choice for a quick stay in Weimar.

A magical, small, idyllic country hotel. We came with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised: an almost enchanted garden, the rooms spacious, clean and very quiet. A forgotten drinking bottle was even sent to me immediately....

After I went there without any expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. A small, fine country hotel with a lot of peace and quiet around it. The room was absolutely fine, I could hardly hear the small fridge, I filled it. Since I was on a business trip, I was able to relax here in the evenings. We were there for the ABBA dinner. The service was very friendly. The program was quite entertaining. The restaurant or the dining room was very nicely decorated and cozy. The food was delicious too. The portions are not too small either. The picture shows the starter. For me, every cent was worth it, it is really to be recommended.

We (four befriended couples) spent here a weekend. Already at the arrival we were received very friendly. The entire weekend we were looked after by Mr Sander, as well. The rooms were very large and modern. The Breakfast buffet was very satisfactory. Only the Meats could use a little more variety. The only drawback was that we were able to have dinner. However, Frey offers castle a sufficient alternative...

Cute hotel in a good location. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The parking garage is quite small and cramped, not really suitable for SUVs. Had a lovely stay there for 2 nights. Very friendly staff. I had a double room facing the inner courtyard with blinds. The bed was a bit soft for me personally. And the bathroom, especially the shower cubicle, was very small. But there are worse things. The breakfast is rich and fresh. Every guest gets fresh scrambled eggs (if they want). You can reach everything you need on foot.

We have been there for four days for personal reasons and the hotel is quite old and not ready for disabled people. The hotel service is terrible. They didn't make the rooms and we found the bed to be made and the towels on the floor, we said so and they told us to put a sign on the door. The next day we put the sign on the door and they didn't do our room either. We had to be angry. Disaster

Great location in the center of Saalfeld, decent albeit outdated rooms. I was almost too tall to stand in the shower/toilet box which was also a bit smelly. First time I’d ever seen a bathroom in a box. Bicycles can be securely stored in the basement/garage with limited access. Very friendly reception. Overall good value.
