It's a great hotel if you know what you're getting into: a simple place to sleep where you can eat and drink plenty, swim and go to the wellness. The walk into the city was a bit long, but the old town with all its beautiful facades made up for it. It had a pleasant atmosphere.

The staff went above and beyond for us during our stay! The hotel is incredibly historic and charming. I highly recommend adding the breakfast to your stay. Jena is an absolute gem of a city and we would love to stay here again!

Stayed there for a week on a business trip. Didn't like the fact that the staff enters the room In your absence and messes with your personal stuff. For example if you don't put away your toiletries, they will disappear

My wife and I spent two nights at the hotel while attending a conference. Our room was elegant and comfortable (and equipped with a great balcony) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had inexpensive paid parking that allows you to come and go at your convenience. Next time I am in Jena, I will definitely stay here again.

Good bar and in the city centre.

I have been a guest of this hotel for around hundred nights in total. I believe it is the best hotel in Jena for a business trip or to visit the town. I prefer to have a room with a balcony and many times they have been able to give me one of these rooms. Also, I really like the breakfast and the omelette that is especially prepared for me in the morning.

A modern looking, spacious hotel with a moonlight bar restaurant that comes with a complimentary drink (or beer). Breakfast is simple, but acceptable. Very centrally located, next to shopping centre. I spent a night here during a conference. The interior of the hotel was being renovated, so the construction work started at 08:00 in the morning. No frills room with a basic breakfast. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Can be a bit noisy at night and early morning if your window is open and your room faces the street. I stay here for a week or two at a time and enjoy it. Hotel is clean and well maintained.

The room was good, the wifi speed was good too. This was the first German hotel I went to so I dont have a good comparison. But considering the price I felt the overall experience was a bit sub par. This was my experience as we came in at a very odd time and stayed for a short period. So you experience will greatly differ.

The hotel was ok. Facilities were limited, like no plug for electricity near the bed or soap was empty in wc. There were a hair on the soap in the shower. I would expect better quality for thr price they offered.

Very good hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Although the furniture is fully functional, it could be invested in a new and modern one, because it reminds of the times from the previous state. Accommodation prices are roughly the same as in the city center, although the hotel is a few kilometers away from the center. Meals are big and of high quality.

It was beautiful with an amazing ambience and drinks. The service staff is excellent.

I stayed at this hotel during my business visit around Christmas time. Visited Christmas market nearby. The view from the hotel room was amazing. Room is quite modern with all the latest gadgets and electrical control of ambience light and blinds. Staff was friendly at reception and at the terrace bar. This is probably the Best hotel in Jena.

The rooms are simple, but spacious and very clean. (Large bathroom adapted for handicapped people) Exceptional staff, always kind and helpful. Breakfast ok. Dinner offered (!) from Monday to Thursday (10€ if you have à visitor). Simple but tasty. Not too far from the centre, tram stop right outside.

Fine but lacking good service hours. The place is fine for a short stay. There is no service on Sundays or late in the evening, making it a bit odd to stay there then. They didn't bother cleaning the room as a result.

The old brewery is a beautiful, cozy location for events of all kinds. As locals of Jena, we like to come here for special lunches or dinners with friends and family. The Papiermühle doesn't just offer its own beers and liqueurs, but also traditional and local cuisine. It is definitely one of the best places to eat in Jena.

It exceeded expectations for a budget hotel. Staff interaction was always friendly. The room was clean. It was odd that there was no refrigerator in the room. Our large bed was simply two single beds pushed together. There was no attempt to bridge the gap between the beds with some sort of connector. I stayed multiple times and the room type was different each time. The mini bar in the business room is free. But in other room types, you still need to ask the front desk if the mini bar is free. The breakfast is quite rich.

The hotel was very good, we have no comments about that, we also found it very nice that we could order a complete meal late at night. In short, everyone in the hotel did their best to please us. Receptionist was quite nice. The room was furnished with furniture from the 80s and 90s. Instead of a queen bed, there were two single beds in the room. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Hair and fingerprints and even urine stains on the toilet.

The staffs are friendly and willing to give helps. Jena is the first city we visit among the three cities of our journey in Germany, and the stays at B&B Jena was the best experience of our three accommodations.

Traveling to Jena, Germany and stays at B&b Hotel was one of my first time I stayed in secure place, cleaned, real time service, and amazing healthy breakfast was my best experience in Germany. The family room was spacious and clean, and had a TV. The breakfast was solid but not extraordinary. The location is outside of the city centre but walkable.

I stayed overnight in Jena in this B&B Hotel. The hotel was easy to reach and the parking lot had lots of space. The check-In via the terminal was easy. An online prior to arrival check-in was suggested (and i did those in a different B&B hotel), but i wanted to try the terminal option. This is my second time staying at this hotel, and everything is perfect! The room was clean, the bathroom was also clean, with white towels, The bed was comfortable! Excellent breakfasts! I did not interact with any staff, so no rating there. The pillow was too flat, bit other than that, everything was fine.

The check-in is total anonymous. There were several guests who had not received the Code for the key Box and were totally lost. No phone number, no service at the hotel. Staff isonly present during breakfast time

Very nice and cosy guest house very close to the city center. The twin room was comfortable. Breakfast was good and the owners were always ready to help.

Comfortable, cosily yet a little old fashioned decorated. The double bed had two separate mattresses though, which made cuddling quite a challenge.

This hostel has neat rooms, kitchenettes and toilets. It is quite decent and affordable. It has many rooms that can accommodate those planning a vacation for a group of 25 to 30 or maybe more. The first floor has a nice balcony view and the hostel is very close to the city centre, tram station and not too far from the train station.
