The hotel is located very close to the motorway, yet it is quiet, which makes it ideal for an overnight stay on the way by car to somewhere (otherwise it does not look like an area with lots of tourist attractions)

The Akademie Hotel is a small seminar hotel in Jena, very good reachable by car or tram. It's in the opposite of the stadium, parking space is for free

The hotel isn't the best address for romantic visits, but for business meetings. I was a participant in a business workshop, so I only know the seminar rooms, information desk and lunch

We spent another weekend at this hotel and were once again very satisfied. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have everything you need. The location is ideal due to its proximity to public transportation

It exceeded expectations for a budget hotel. Staff interaction was always friendly. It was odd that there was no refrigerator in the room. Our large bed was simply two single beds pushed together

The suite is large and the breakfast is rich. There is no Uber in Jena, but there is a bus stop ten minutes' walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. There is also a supermarket nearby.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel has its style - pretty nice inside. Underground parking was handy, too. Breakfast is very good with lots of choices.

There was no attempt to bridge the gap between the beds with some sort of connector. Linens were clean and nice with no strong detergent smell

The Papiermühle doesn't just offer its own beers and liqueurs, but also traditional and local cuisine. It is definitely one of the best places to eat in Jena

Pension is conveniently located next to Jena West train station, but close to the city center. Rooms are large and clean, place is calm, service is great

I visit Jena from time to time for many years and Bertha became my favorite pension/hotel to stay in Jena. First, "location, location, location"
