Very nice hotel. Clean and tidy. Great breakfast, and a cozy bar. Little bit pricier than the other hotels nearby, but definitely worth it.
Also, they are all well spoken in English, and were patient with all the questions I've had

the place is suitably located in the Center with big parking place. The bedrooms are comfortable but beds could be larger(wider). Breakfast had a variety of drinks and food staff suitably assorted with fruits
It was really great to check in even with the reception closed. Unfortunately the check in was a little big unclear how it worked. Took me 15 minutes 🙈 But the rest was good. And still waiting for the invoice.

The hotel is located very close to the motorway, yet it is quiet, which makes it ideal for an overnight stay on the way by car to somewhere (otherwise it does not look like an area with lots of tourist attractions)

The seminar rooms are absolutely ok with a great welcome service. Coffee was always available, not only when we had a break. The service employees at reception desk are very helpful, professional and charming
The hotel isn't the best address for romantic visits, but for business meetings. I was a participant in a business workshop, so I only know the seminar rooms, information desk and lunch
Lunch: All workshop participants had a choice of 3 meals for lunch, which we ordered before lunchtime. But a surprise, we could taste everything, so I can suggest the lunch, too
The Akademie Hotel is a small seminar hotel in Jena, very good reachable by car or tram. It's in the opposite of the stadium, parking space is for free

The room was good, the wifi speed was good too. This was the first German hotel I went to so I dont have a good comparison. But considering the price I felt the overall experience was a bit sub par
The location is the main attraction here. The staff was friendly and breakfast was decent, but the location is what makes it shine. The rooms are small and kind of uncomfortable, but still with it.
Beds are ok, the receptionist was very helpful, though. No free wifi, which I consider unforgivable. The hotel location is very good, in the middle of lots of stores and pretty places
Rooms are small, but clean and well built. The service is on point. There is no kitchen for serving big meals, but there's a small kitchen that works overnight serving sandwichs.
No frills room with a basic breakfast. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Can be a bit noisy at night and early morning if your window is open and your room faces the street

Ich war mittlerweile schon öfter hier! Werde auch wieder hier einchecken! Frühstück hat reichlich Auswahl. Liegt leicht abseits und dadurch relativ ruhig!

It's nicely located, my room and bathroom were spacious yet warm. The stuff was really helpful. The only minus I can point to is pillows. As for me, they were too big and stiff. But overall I enjoyed my stay!

This hostel has neat rooms, kitchenettes and toilets. It is quite decent and affordable. It has many rooms that can accommodate those planning a vacation for a group of 25 to 30 or maybe more

A wonderful place to stay economical and a silent and calm locality. Beautiful view from the windows overlooking the mountains on one side and overlooking on the city and valley town of Jena from the other rooms
Great quality of beds and very clean - well maintained rooms. Private bathroom option available. Not sure if the property is wheelchair friendly. Huge parking space available right at the front of the building
Overall, it's not a bad place to stay in. The rooms are spacious, the furniture is in decent condition and so on, except the food there. It is absolutely awful, so if you can get food from outside, do it.
TL;DR: Good for the first time to find something better. Don’t expect here luxury 5-star hotel with a spa. It used to be a student dorm, it is still a student dorm (at least partially)
There are rooms with and without amenities (WC, shower). There is one common bathroom (5-6 showers) and one common toilet per floor. (I suppose there should be somewhere girls WC)
