It is really a nice, small but a very smart hotel with modern lines inside! So smart! The rooms are quite clean and comfortable! The hotel really has a perfect location! You can reach everywhere with small walks in the city center

It would be really a nice choice, if you have a short business trip or a short vacation in Jena! *There was a great ambiance in the city center (very close to the hotel) before the Christmas (;

You can find many restaurants and shops on the hotel's street. It is also very close to bus and tram stations. You may easily find some free parking locations as well around the street

The rooms are clean and spacious. Although the furniture is fully functional, it could be invested in a new and modern one, because it reminds of the times from the previous state

Grrat location in the heart of Jena within walking distance to shops and trams. The checkin process was easy and service sufficient. The room was nice with two twin beds pushed together. Beds and bedding were comfortable

Its very nice and good people. but It dose not have air-condition and internet in some rooms are bad.

The seminar rooms are absolutely ok with a great welcome service. Coffee was always available, not only when we had a break. The service employees at reception desk are very helpful, professional and charming

Location: 3 tram stops away from city centre. Service: 60 euro incl. Breakfast and supper. Good Wifi connection. Room: Typical and clean room.

Lunch: All workshop participants had a choice of 3 meals for lunch, which we ordered before lunchtime. But a surprise, we could taste everything, so I can suggest the lunch, too

The Akademie Hotel is a small seminar hotel in Jena, very good reachable by car or tram. It's in the opposite of the stadium, parking space is for free

The hotel isn't the best address for romantic visits, but for business meetings. I was a participant in a business workshop, so I only know the seminar rooms, information desk and lunch

the place is suitably located in the Center with big parking place. The bedrooms are comfortable but beds could be larger(wider). Breakfast had a variety of drinks and food staff suitably assorted with fruits

It was really great to check in even with the reception closed. Unfortunately the check in was a little big unclear how it worked. Took me 15 minutes 🙈 But the rest was good. And still waiting for the invoice.

The location is the main attraction here. The staff was friendly and breakfast was decent, but the location is what makes it shine. The rooms are small and kind of uncomfortable, but still with it.

Beds are ok, the receptionist was very helpful, though. No free wifi, which I consider unforgivable. The hotel location is very good, in the middle of lots of stores and pretty places

Rooms are small, but clean and well built. The service is on point. There is no kitchen for serving big meals, but there's a small kitchen that works overnight serving sandwichs.

The room was good, the wifi speed was good too. This was the first German hotel I went to so I dont have a good comparison. But considering the price I felt the overall experience was a bit sub par

Jena is small and very Beutiful place

Das Essen war eine 10/10. Wirklich lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer waren für einen Kurzaufenthalt vollkommen ausreichend.

The hotel is located very close to the motorway, yet it is quiet, which makes it ideal for an overnight stay on the way by car to somewhere (otherwise it does not look like an area with lots of tourist attractions)

There was a dinner buffet at 25 Euros, but I arrived 20 minutes before it closed at 21, and was offered to fill a large plate at 12 Euros which was a nice gesture and good deal

Great German seasonal and regional food, beautiful location, nice and attentive waitresses, a bit pricey but still worth it.

The old brewery is a beautiful, cozy location for events of all kinds. As locals of Jena, we like to come here for special lunches or dinners with friends and family

The Papiermühle doesn't just offer its own beers and liqueurs, but also traditional and local cuisine. It is definitely one of the best places to eat in Jena

Good and fast service with waiters in traditional German garment. Food is not quite mine and the menu is slightly overpriced. Overall, a great place for an authentic Teutonic experience.

Comfortable, cosily yet a little old fashioned decorated. The double bed had two separate mattresses though, which made cuddling quite a challenge.

It's nicely located, my room and bathroom were spacious yet warm. The stuff was really helpful. The only minus I can point to is pillows. As for me, they were too big and stiff. But overall I enjoyed my stay!

Pension is conveniently located next to Jena West train station, but close to the city center. Rooms are large and clean, place is calm, service is great

I visit Jena from time to time for many years and Bertha became my favorite pension/hotel to stay in Jena. First, "location, location, location"

Pension Bertha was a great place to stay while visiting Jena. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. It had a large bathroom as well. The staff were very helpful.

This hostel has neat rooms, kitchenettes and toilets. It is quite decent and affordable. It has many rooms that can accommodate those planning a vacation for a group of 25 to 30 or maybe more
