Reasonable budget hotel with restaurant attached. The rooms are basic and a little dated, even the "superior rooms", which are just a little larger with a free bottle of water. The restaurant is clean and serves food quickly. The hotel does not have any air conditioning, which was a major problem when I visited during a heat wave. The staff don't speak much English, which is quite unusual in the area...

I booked a single bed but to my great surprise, I was given a double bed for no extra cost. The room was big enough, clean and cosy. The washroom was pretty good as well. But the wifi sucks big time. Very slow.

I visited the restaurant for the first time. The occasion was a wedding/round birthday. The buffet was very delicious. Could have gone more often, but eventually it was enough. Other guests should also have something. 😉 A very special praise goes to the service. The ladies were more than attentive, friendly and helpful. Rather cheap category. Breakfast options could be more plentiful. Rooms on the top floor are to be avoided in summer as they are very warm. But the landlady is nice and tries hard.

The bathroom was not well cleaned, the toilet seat loose, double bet not double, no bed side table, no bed site lamp.

Nice hotel outside of Cologne I stayed at this hotel for five nights, in this small town for a wedding. The hotel is clean, pretty and comfortable. I was very happy with the a/c in teh room...really good for Europe standards. Breakfast was awesome. I appreciated the affordable parking. Check in after hours was easy.

A nice small hotel with well equipped and very new rooms. Everything was there, even a Nesspresso machine, a bottle of water and a mobile air conditioner. The connection to Cologne is great. An overnight stay here is highly recommended. The reservation and check-in also worked very well.

Nice hotel in a good location. I found it irritating that the reception is only open in the mornings and you get your room key via a mailbox with a code (after calling the phone number on the door). The rooms are nice and smell nice and clean.

I booked this hotel for a continuing education course. Check-in was seamless via the safe. I parked in the large parking lot in front of the hotel beforehand, but was able to reserve a free parking space on site in the morning. Good to know: If you book the parking ticket through Parkster, it's free overnight (I arrived in the evening), so I didn't have to pay anything in the end. The rooms are bright...

The hotel is located right next to the “Erft” river and is a beautiful little house with very nice brickwork from the outside. There are 3-4 parking spaces directly in front of the hotel and a larger parking area about 20 m further on, which unfortunately you have to pay for but is not expensive. The hotel is great. Everything is very familiar. Super nice people. Breakfast is served and there is a variety of things you can take from the buffet. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel. If it is occupied, there is a parking lot just around the corner, but there is a charge from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. I don't know the parking options for large vans, but a call there will certainly solve...

Nice and clean room, spacious bathroom, nice shower. Could park in front of the door every night. The drive to Cologne Messe is approximately 45 minutes. Normal hotel, nothing special, but serves its purpose. It was clean and we had a good nights rest after a long day in Phantasialand. There is a bar downstairs, open until 10pm which I can recommend. Breakfast is good with enough variety although I missed the sausages. Breakfast is at 8am in weekends, but it’s better to wait at least until 8:15 otherwise it’s too crowded.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel for a daytrip to Phantasialand, which is a 15 minute ride away. We could enter easily at 11 pm, because of the code by email to get the key. The room was very spacious and clean! The breakfast was extensive and yummy. Thank you very much :-)

Room was very nice and clean. The things that bother me was the very small bathroom. When you went to the toilet, your knees are against the wall in front of you. I’m 1,68 tall, but someone bigger than me should have a problem here. The same for the shower. The breakfast is basic. But when the fruitsalade was empty, they didn’t refilled it.

Really pleased with our stay. The hotel is dog friendly (we had to pay a extra 15€ fee). The staff was really nice and when we got the the room there was a letter welcoming us and our dog plus a can of wet food and some Treats for her. For an amusement park hotel this accommodation is pretty good. Just like phantasialand it has wonderful theming and the park entrance seemingly melds into the hotel. Staff was very welcoming. Plenty of parking available in the underground garage. The rooms are 50/50 split facing the park or the motorway, so you might not get lucky with a regular room.

The apartment is next the shops and no hassle checking in.

We booked a room for 2 nights, with breakfast. Our room was on the 3th floor. It is a different place, than the restaurant/reception, but only 1-2 minutes on foot. Amazing staff, I had ran into issues on my commute into Bruhl and got stuck on the other side of the Rhine River. Staff was helpful in making sure I had a place to stay and were extremely accommodating. Grateful for them as otherwise I might have had to sleep on the streets. 10/10 will stay here again. The staff are wonderful, the location is ridiculously convenient. With cafes, restaurants, a shopping mall and access to the Phantasialand shuttle service very near by. For someone with more Wealth is in the shower is a challenge... The bed I have slept in the I, knarxt... is simply outdated already... I then placed the mattress on the floor to sleep then on the ground, it was bearable...

Stayed for 1 night, before heading back to the UK. Only booked it on the day - was just looking for somewhere with a car park. Free parking outside but I opted for the secure underground parking - a bit pricey at 25 euros. Lovely room which looked like it had been refurbed recently. Great hotel with a best buffet breakfast ever. The room we had, had a shower in the bedroom what means little privacy after you shower. A separate bathroom with toilet would have been better. We stayed for 2 nights and we had to pay €25 a day for parking underneath the hotel, what in my opinion should have been free and a courtesy of the hotel.

We stopped off for one night heading home from a European Road trip. The hotel is modern and stylish in a pleasant location, all staff were very helpful and friendly. A very cozy hotel with a special design. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. A small tea kitchen belongs to the room. We were able to lock our bicycles safely. The breakfast was varied. If you stay longer, I would make sure to get an apartment with a garden view. Otherwise you look at the parking lot and opposite is a residential building. Blinds prevent people from looking inside.

We had a good stay at Ameron . Before our stay we were offered an upgrade including parking. It was definitely worth the extra cost. The view was amazing looking out over Köln. Good value for money. A bit outside of the city centre but nice and calm. Also close to the freeway

The stay was quite nice. I was there for 10+ days on a business visit. It is easy to get to the hotel and many places within walking distance, including public transport. What bummed me were the extra charges for parking and breakfast. When we were going to get to the hotel from the garage we rang the bell for the reception to let us in, then we were told that we should use our room card (not in a kind way). I was looking forward to this hotel, first the check in process took a while, the receptionist was not very friendly. In return the room was very clean, spacious and the breakfast was varied.

Booked this hotel with my colleagues on a business trip. We stayed for one night and thought it was good, so we booked another night. It was mainly because it was close to our business location. The hotel has a good location and convenient transportation. Thumbs up 👍

Rooms with no AC , just a fan to circulate the hot air , the matress was old and with broken springs , one off the worst nights i had in a long time due to the room being hot and an incredible back pain in the morning. At least the staff is nice and friendly , i fly all over the world working but this is not a hotel i will return

Right off the town centre, a few minutes walk from railway station. Private parking, charged at 12 euros per night. On site restaurant was shut down hence 4 stars.

In the center of Duren w/ free but tight parking space. Hotel clean and comfortable, probably just renovated including bathrooms. Rooms maybe hot during summer. Typical German breakfast. Worth the money.
