Anice place to stay! There were a few things that disappointed us: The fridge was warm - even at maximum. No vegetables for brakfast. A Caprese was served, no more veg. Tomatoes for decoration (?). Otherwise everything was just very good!

We often spend the night here when we go karting. Great hotel for a few overnight stays. Rooms are clean. Beds good. The breakfast is more than okay. The receptionist, cleaning lady, service: All super friendly. The communication by email is also fast and friendly. At the adjacent bistro you can traditionally eat a lot for only €15.00 per person. It is very pleasant outside, especially when the weather...

Booked for an overnight stay as part of a celebration in the area. Check-in was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very modern and new and tastefully decorated. Despite the proximity to the motorway, really quiet and very pleasant. Breakfast also had a good selection and delicious products, so I would definitely recommend it.

A perfect place to enjoy the rural beauty and peaceful atmosphere of Deutschland near the Belgian boarder. Villa Sophienhöhe had clean clean clean rooms. Both myself and my wife loved the soap In the shower. The coffee was so delicious in the morning I had 3 cups! Also the honey made from the bees that pollinate the small orchard makes a great gift.

Excellent place. Peaceful, quiet and still close to the neighbouring big cities. Many things in this place are in the positive relationship with the nature. And not to forget, the food in the restaurant is delicious ! Also, it is a great venue for smaller celebrations.

Great hotel! The rooms are clean and well furbished. The breakfast is good. However I was most impressed by the service and helpfulness of the staff - you couldn't ask for more or better!

Really pleased to find this place to rest for a night on the way through Germany. Very quiet and rural. Always good to find somewhere with a bit of history too.

Cheap and good rooms for value. Breakfast included which was not bad too. Pretty bad noise polution outside because of the aldi depot and youth.

The brutalist architecture belies not only the comfort of the rooms, but also the warmth and hospitality of the staff.

If you stay in Hotel zur Wasserburg you have to visit the castle, it's only a five minute walk. The castle was built in the 14th century and it is surrounded by a beautiful park. Today it's a place to celebrate. You can visit the castle the whole year, but the perfect time is spring.

Hotel is a few kilometres outside of Kerpen and is located in a very dull looking village, but the hotel itself is very pleasant inside. A great overnight stopover. After a long days drive the rooms window shutters provided a complete black-out ensuring areat nights sleep. Really friendly hosts and staff combined with a nice clean, comfortable room with wi-fi. There was a well stocked vending machine...

Loved this place and will return for sure. Soo pretty, so comfortable and very just... friendly. We brought our cat, cat was also very happy with the stay. Definitely pet and child friendly. In the morning after an excellent breakfast we said hi to the horses outside and took a morning walk to watch the castle. I needed this relaxing stay and can recommend a stay in this beautiful region to anyone...

Was charged for 6 breakfasts but it should be free...otherwise very clean very friendly staff will go back if paid back breakfast money.

Clean rooms. Breakfast nice and typical small german hotel breakfast. With bread and plenty of things to put on the bread. A fridge downstairs with some drinks in case you wanted something you could just grab it and write it down on a note what you took if no one was at reception. I love that this is still possible.

I visited the restaurant for the first time. The occasion was a wedding/round birthday. The buffet was very delicious. Could have gone more often, but eventually it was enough. Other guests should also have something. 😉 A very special praise goes to the service. The ladies were more than attentive, friendly and helpful. Whoever wants to convince themselves, do it, it's worth it.

The hotel was close to the office I was visited the autobaun for travelling from the airport. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfy. Having arrived later on there were food places nearby for take out and sit down if needed. Our stay at Friends Hotel was very good! The room was roomy and very clean. Not much of a decor but cleanliness is important to me. The hotel is close to busy road so with the windows open it will be very noisy. I can see it being very hot in the summertime. Fortunately for us it was a 2 comfortable evenings. The location was excellent. Three minutes from the Autobahn. Next to a petrol station. In the same building as a Chinese restaurant.

Rather cheap category. Breakfast options could be more plentiful. Rooms on the top floor are to be avoided in summer as they are very warm. But the landlady is nice and tries hard.

We stayed at this property with our three kids and took the train into Cologne. It was convenient and affordable to not be in the city. The staff were so great!

Rooms were clean, beds were good, breakfast was good. That’s all we needed.

The man at the counter was amazing. He was very helpful showing us where we could go watch the football match and the following morning once again helped us access the gym.

We stayed as a family and when we booked the room, it wasn't clear that children under 12 are expected to stay in the same bed as the parents. So basically, there is 1 bed. We had no idea about this when booking as every other time we book for 3, it is made very clear the setup of the room. Some brands even tell you it isn't a family room. When questionning this, the staff on the desk were rude and...

It's some distance away from downtown Cologne and very quiet.

The bathroom was not well cleaned, the toilet seat loose, double bet not double, no bed side table, no bed site lamp.

Nice bed, aircondition, garage and EV charger. Ok stay. The hotel has old standard, but is clean and the bed is good. Our view was another roof not very exiting. Simple but ok breakfast. The hotel has underground garage and also possibilty to charge our EV. work excellent, and we started the next morning with fully charged battery (both car and people). All in all a ok stopover, but not 4 stars in...

Nice hotel outside of Cologne I stayed at this hotel for five nights, in this small town for a wedding. The hotel is clean, pretty and comfortable. I was very happy with the a/c in teh room...really good for Europe standards. Breakfast was awesome. I appreciated the affordable parking. Check in after hours was easy.

A nice small hotel with well equipped and very new rooms. Everything was there, even a Nesspresso machine, a bottle of water and a mobile air conditioner. The connection to Cologne is great. An overnight stay here is highly recommended. The reservation and check-in also worked very well.

Friendly staff, extremely clean, gives a feel of luxury. Only downside (therefore the 4 stars and not 5) is that the WIFI is not working or working for a really short period of time

A good hotel at moderate prices in a top location in the west of Cologne. Rooms are big enough, clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous, nice and friendly. A very good alternative to the crowded hotel at the exhibition center in Cologne.

Nice hotel in a good location. I found it irritating that the reception is only open in the mornings and you get your room key via a mailbox with a code (after calling the phone number on the door). The rooms are nice and smell nice and clean.

I booked this hotel for a continuing education course. Check-in was seamless via the safe. I parked in the large parking lot in front of the hotel beforehand, but was able to reserve a free parking space on site in the morning. Good to know: If you book the parking ticket through Parkster, it's free overnight (I arrived in the evening), so I didn't have to pay anything in the end. The rooms are bright...

The hotel is located right next to the “Erft” river and is a beautiful little house with very nice brickwork from the outside. There are 3-4 parking spaces directly in front of the hotel and a larger parking area about 20 m further on, which unfortunately you have to pay for but is not expensive. The room in which a double bed and another pull-out bed was constructed in the sloping wall were very interesting...

The hotel is great. Everything is very familiar. Super nice people. Breakfast is served and there is a variety of things you can take from the buffet. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel. If it is occupied, there is a parking lot just around the corner, but there is a charge from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. I don't know the parking options for large vans, but a call there will certainly solve...

Nice and clean room, spacious bathroom, nice shower. Could park in front of the door every night. The drive to Cologne Messe is approximately 45 minutes. Breakfast is complete and delicious fried eggs are baked on request. Bottle of water in the room. Room had a total of 11 sockets, very nice :-). You can enjoy good food opposite the hotel in the hip and beautiful Extrablatt

The receptionist was courteous and welcoming, however, the housekeeping services were severely lacking. Upon entering our assigned room, we were met with an unpleasant odor and discovered that the toilet was in an unsanitary condition, and the overall state of the room was unkempt. I promptly voiced my concerns and requested a room change, which resulted in a marginally improved accommodation. However...

The hotel was clean and excellent value for money. Basic room but does the basics very well. 10 min walk to train station and only 40 min train from köln main station. Rooms were very warm but hotel did provide a fan to help. Overall a good stay for affordable prices

Check in was problematic, could not figure out who we were or find us in the reservation. Internet was hard to log into, needed twice assistance from front desk. Rooms were large, modern, functional. Location is great in the. Idle of town.

It was a beautiful experience. I was in the apartment for 3 people. Fantastic service, rooms are cleaned every day, changing towels, great staff, wonderful ambience, nothing would suggest, because absolutely nothing wrong with it. I am thrilled.

The price for the rooms is not justified. Simple steel frame beds, Pizza is one food that can be ordered frozen.
