The hotel is located right next to the “Erft” river and is a beautiful little house with very nice brickwork from the outside. There are 3-4 parking spaces directly in front of the hotel and a larger parking area about 20 m further on, which unfortunately you have to pay for but is not expensive. The room in which a double bed and another pull-out bed was constructed in the sloping wall were very interesting. These rooms, which I had, were very, very clean, even in the places where (only specialists/extreme cleanliness addicts) can look. Very nicely furnished, very comfortable, very bright, subtle and tasteful. The bathroom is also very tastefully furnished, everything is functional and extremely clean, just like being at home. There was a rain shower + glass shower cubicle and always very hot water if you needed it at any time. The hotel staff was extremely polite and very accommodating, always trying to please the guest in every possible way. In the dining room, which is shared with the hotel reception, you will be greeted by the staff with: A wonderful good morning, with a very friendly smile. In the dining room for breakfast there are all sorts of different types of bread, rolls, various jams, Nutella, cheese cold cuts, sausage cold cuts, freshly prepared fried eggs, omelets and breakfast eggs, various types of fruit, filter coffee, coffee from the machine and also Juices. From the price --- performance recommendation I can only say TOP HOTEL.

The hotel is great. Everything is very familiar. Super nice people. Breakfast is served and there is a variety of things you can take from the buffet. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel. If it is occupied, there is a parking lot just around the corner, but there is a charge from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. I don't know the parking options for large vans, but a call there will certainly solve this problem. I'd love to come back.

Poor heating at winter time.
Cracks on the walls, and sounds of rats behind walls.
Cold like hell floor in bathroom without heaters.
Every night music from the pub downstairs.
Old adjustable switches in shower, which are not working properly.
DO NOT DISTURB sign, not stopping staff from entering to your room.
Do not recommend this hotel if you prefer high service.

I was now for the third time in this hotel.
There are only five parking spaces in front of the house...
This time it was very noisy again in the hotel and not as I'm used to in other hotels.
The rooms are getting old, with a dirty carpet and no fridge, very cold, and the bathroom has no heating, the view from room 16 was a disaster this time, you looked towards a roof.
You don't need that.
There is no breakfast buffet, but each guest gets tons of rolls, bread, sausage and cheese at the table.
But I only eat one roll and ask myself what happens to the rest? Will it be thrown away????????????
The breakfast eggs are from free range, in other hotels there were eggs, cheese and sausage from organic farming for the same price.
Next time I will look for another place to stay in Bergheim.

Nice and clean room, spacious bathroom, nice shower. Could park in front of the door every night. The drive to Cologne Messe is approximately 45 minutes. Breakfast is complete and delicious fried eggs are baked on request. Bottle of water in the room. Room had a total of 11 sockets, very nice :-). You can enjoy good food opposite the hotel in the hip and beautiful Extrablatt
