Nice hotel with convenient location just across the Train Station. Rooms are good in size and clean. Nice breakfast with lots of options. Miroslav at the reception was very helpful and kind with his broad smile.

Stayed at Atlantic Hotel Kiel for one night before our cruise. Excellent location, right across the road from the Kiel train station. Easy walking to malls and restaurants. The two rooms we reserved were clean, bright and airy. The front desk were super friendly and helpful, especially as they allowed us to check in slightly earlier and gave us advice regarding how to get to our ship the next day...

Great location opposite the train station. The service is good. They kept the place very clean and well maintained even though it has been in operations for many years. The breakfast is solid and the live station is always a crowd favourite. The gym is small but functional. There is a rooftop bar which is popular.

Visiting Kiel, Germany for the first time, logging was very important. The Atlantic Hotel is ideally located with everything. Walking distance to an indoor shopping mall, transport hub (Bus, Tax, Train), pier (Tourist Center with Cruise ships). Local restaurants are next door, if you want KFC, McDonald, you bet, it right there.

Great experience at the Atlantic Hotel Kiel! We spend 3 days in Kiel where we stayed at this hotel with a prime location. Breakfast was excellent and our room was great as well. The staff, not least Miroslav at the reception, made us feel extremely welcome. All in all a highly recommendable hotel with a both professional and friendly atmosphere including top class facilities and a great staff.

This is a newley renovated hotel and it looks totaly new. Nice parkering in the basement with a lift to the reception. We had a suite and good space for å family of 4. Nice food in the restaurant, good service in the bar. Exelent if you need a place to stay to be in position for the Color Line ferry the next day.

Best in Galaxy As a Hard core Road warrior (+45 yrs) I can definitely say this is the BEST place in North Deutschland. I’ve recently stayed in 5 star all over the place, heck, I dream Mars/Jupiter/Saturn (definitely not PLUTO) but Der Steigeberg

I love Kiel Steigenberger Hotel! All fits perfectly, parking, breakfast (by far the best in Kiel), Room and Service. Been here many times. You can reach out by walk everything. Take the bigger rooms, like them more. Was there with Kids, and the spare sofa bed was also really high quality, not some cheap stuff.

It's pretty good. It's rare to have an air conditioner. The facilities are pretty new and the surrounding environment is good.

Beautiful hotel in the immediate vicinity of the Ostseekai, ideal for an overnight stop on a cruise. Close to the city but still quiet.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my son for a little mini vacation. As always, there are some good things and some less good things when staying at a hotel, but overall I very much liked staying here and would definitely consider it again if visiting Kiel. I will list the good and less good things here: Good - We paid extra to stay in one of the better renovated rooms which was modern and very comfortable...

The room was comfortable, the beds were good and more options for the pillows. The bathroom was clean, we just missed the body lotion. Food was specially delicious and good quality however there could have been more side dishes eg.rice, vegetables. There was nothing given for the dog for such a high price, not even a water bowl. This is not considered dogfriendly. And we would like to point out that...

The hotel is ideal for a city trip, as you can quickly reach the train station and the motorway on foot. The sauna and fitness area are highly recommended. Unfortunately, our bathroom already smelled of smoke when we checked in.

The facilities are good for a few nights. But if you want to pass the time watching TV in the evening, the single room would at least benefit from a more comfortable chair than the one in the dining room. Or you have to lounge on the bed. Whether the heating will still be warm enough to provide a sufficient room temperature when the outside temperature is much cooler (it was around 5 - 6°C)... Who...

Good location since the reason for staying is due to company training.

The location is ideal, it's located near the centre of Kiel, the staff is also very friendly and easy going. The rooms ar not cleaned well and the toilet looks dirty. There was a massive layers of dust under the bed. The windows were crooked and could not open properly without touching the curtain rail. Luckily we're using this as a one night stop hotel

The service in the hotel is great, unfortunately I didn't use the kitchen.

Convenient location, clean, check-out from the room is at 11, and they kicked us out at 10, not very pleasant, but overall the hotel is good.

Great Hotel at a great location, 200 meters from the Fjord Rover. Hotel is outdated, needs a make over, but still works ( just). Great balconies. Large rooms. Parking a challenge in high season. House keeping a very mixed bag, we had days they never came, despite no no disturb signs on the door, replenishment of towels and coffee also various times didn't happen, other times everything was 110%.

We stayed for a single night an thoroughly enjoyed it! Rooms were neat and clean with a good shower and comfortable beds. The breakfast had a broad selection of savoury and sweet treats, the kids loved the Nutella machine 😂. The staff were very professional and attentive - a big thanks to the reception staff who were helpful and patient with us and four teenagers when leaving our luggage after checkout

A beautiful location. I had a 6th floor room with a breathtaking view over the fjord. Breakfast is excellent and service is very friendly. The rooms are clean and generally comfortable but the furniture and carpet is very old fashioned.

Excellent location with stunning views over fjord. Very good dinner breakfast choices and helpful friendly staff, especially the receptionist (male) who helped me in finding a doctor for a private prescription as I had left my medication in the UK. You saved my one month vacation....much appreciated 👍✅

Location a bit inconvenient, little means of public transportation available nearby. Otherwise - all good, right next to Kiel seaside

Easy five star restaurant with a beautiful ambience. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and specially the duck special. It was well seasoned and the quantity was huge, I was not able to finish it. The roast beef, steak, and fish were all very unique as well. It would have been more convenient to provide an english menu. I also did not really enjoy the vanilla icecream but the chocolate sauce...

Poorly they change the staff in the last year. Still a very cozy place but you have to wait very long for service. Still worth a visit!

Loved this cost hotel tucked away a nearby river. The rooms in the main house was surprisingly big with a seating area and separate door separating the hallway to the main bedroom. Breakfast was great as well with lots of northern German style produce, hot food and freshly squeezed juices.

Beautiful location. Excellent bar service and bar food. Nice pool area. Unfortunately it's the feather pillows and blanket that take down the points. They felt old and to flat. No AC in the room. Hardly no accessories in the room or bathroom. The room did not feel like a 4 star.

Great gateway place. Lovely fixtures and surrounded by woods. Beds were comfortable and there is a sense of relaxation in this hotel. Would definitely come back! ?

Facilities and room were in great and cosy condition. Breakfast was awesome with lots of dishes to choose from. The property is located very close to nature and hiking trails, but the old town of Plön is still easy to reach by walking, which is especially very nice if you choose to do a little detour and walk along the lake.

Excellent location for an overnight stop enroute to Denmark and with the bonus of a great view overlooking the Kiel Canal. The staff were some of the friendliest and helpful we have met on our travels.

Nicole on reception was fantastic, welcoming, very informative, and entertaining, with a great sense of humour, lovely lady. Restaurant staff, superb service, nothing was a problem , always smiling.

Excellent Hotel. A lovely hotel with excellent room and on immaculate condition. Only one thing could have made our stay better and that would have been a kettle. The staff were excellent, in particular the breakfast staff who were excellent!

The location next to the pedestrian/bike tunnel and on the canal was wonderful. A lovely corner room with a view of the ships. We appreciated the bike garage. The service at dinner was very,very slow. Over an hour before we received our drinks. No other hotel or restaurant on our trip was so slow.

Nice location Hotel was ok! Nice location along the Kiel channel with a good restaurant at the hotel overlooking the channel. We stayed in a room in the older part of the hotel. Some basic stuff, like a water boiler was missing. One of the receptionists was also very unfriendly and did not bother to greet the guests.

The hotel is located in front of a nice lake. I consider this hotel as a hidden gem. Is very beautiful and comfortable. Staff is customer oriented specially the lady at the frontdesk she is amazing. We arrived late in the night after a long trip from Denmark and she always had the best attitude. The breakfast is very tasty and complete. Super recommended.

Good, nice location by the lake A bit mixed. Lovely setting, nice traditional hotel, good pool area, good staff, breakfast great, has some parking, good food in the evening too. However room was a bit dated, dark (not enough lights), noisy people above, creaky bed, shower small. And they seemed under-staffed in the restaurant. They did however provide two very good meals for us

Good rooms, great swimming pool with a great view, half-board food so far excellent, great location and everything at an excellent price. On the next short vacation, people will definitely stop by here again. PS: Everything is clean, in the restaurant Corona could have a little more space between the tables!

This is a very nice hotel with fair prices and good service from the staff. The location is super and the view over Dieksee is fantastic. We are already looking forward to visit the hotel and the area again.

Good hotel. Good food. Friendly staff. The area is quiet, but very beautiful nature. There are no crowds on the beaches. A few Dutch. Asphalt bike paths are found mostly along roads, but there are also many sand/gravel paths that run through nature reserves.

1.I'll begin with a question: Why do you want me to answer this in english,. 2. My wife and I frequented your haus for the 2nd time and again we have not got anything to complain about. The service exellent, The foood as well. Best note for the breakfast with its enourmus variety of choices! The Sport-Sauna and Swimming facilyties are also most enjoyable1

One of the nicest hotels in Germany, speak German and English,. We had a large group, and had no issues what so ever. Rooms very clean, very elegant!! Would recommend a 10 if I could!!

Extremely comfortable appartment location direct at the East Sea coast. Appartments completely equipped, everything was functioning, very clean, nothing lost to wish. The hotel offers some smoker appartments and a smoker lounge. Friendly staff, nice wellness area. We will be lucky to come back sometimes.
