Stayed at Atlantic Hotel Kiel for one night before our cruise. Excellent location, right across the road from the Kiel train station. Easy walking to malls and restaurants. The two rooms we reserved were clean, bright and airy. The front desk were super friendly and helpful, especially as they allowed us to check in slightly earlier and gave us advice regarding how to get to our ship the next day...

Great location opposite the train station. The service is good. They kept the place very clean and well maintained even though it has been in operations for many years. The breakfast is solid and the live station is always a crowd favourite. The gym is small but functional. There is a rooftop bar which is popular.

Visiting Kiel, Germany for the first time, logging was very important. The Atlantic Hotel is ideally located with everything. Walking distance to an indoor shopping mall, transport hub (Bus, Tax, Train), pier (Tourist Center with Cruise ships). Local restaurants are next door, if you want KFC, McDonald, you bet, it right there.

Great experience at the Atlantic Hotel Kiel! We spend 3 days in Kiel where we stayed at this hotel with a prime location. Breakfast was excellent and our room was great as well. The staff, not least Miroslav at the reception, made us feel extremely welcome. All in all a highly recommendable hotel with a both professional and friendly atmosphere including top class facilities and a great staff.

This is a newley renovated hotel and it looks totaly new. Nice parkering in the basement with a lift to the reception. We had a suite and good space for å family of 4. Nice food in the restaurant, good service in the bar. Exelent if you need a place to stay to be in position for the Color Line ferry the next day.

Really smart hotel with a roof top bar overlooking the river. It's location is right outside Kiel Train Station. Rooms were lovely, breakfast high quality and the staff superb. Special thanks to Elisa and Joos.

Everything is good but only breakfast menu has not got changed for 3 days

Convenient central location, a short walk from a few reasonable restaurants in the Altstadt. Typical business orienated hotel for short stay visitors. Rooms were fine but small and dull. It is not a holiday hotel. Only draw back was limited and very tight parking underneath. Park nearby at the Parkhaus Schlossgarage, cheaper and much more space.

The hotel was not bad at all. The rooms where also nice. Though was it very annoying, that they insisted at check in, that the time had to be 3 pm. I can understand, that when I came the first time, at around 1:30, the rooms might not have been ready. (most other hotels, would make an effort to make a room ready, but not here) So I came again around 13 minutes before 3 pm, and was still told to wait...

Is beautiful because everything is like in 70's.Is in very good shape and the rooms are clean and spacious.Bath tub instead showers .Big point for having balconies.Parking is free and accesibile,sea is near by, a lot of places around(10 min walk) to eat or to grab a drink. Can't say enough about this place. Great staff; very friendly. The breakfast is good. You are far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to drive into the city center in about 15 minutes. I would stay here again.

Excellent breakfast and organization of the breakfast during this difficult time (Covid-19)! Very helpful owner/manager who gave us som very good advices about the local tourist attractions and places worth visiting! Over all excellent hotel!

The hotel aspires to elegance. Good food. Great Breakfast. Parking free but a little. Rekonstruiruet. Beautiful patios. Quite comfortable.

The location is ideal, it's located near the centre of Kiel, the staff is also very friendly and easy going. The rooms ar not cleaned well and the toilet looks dirty. There was a massive layers of dust under the bed. The windows were crooked and could not open properly without touching the curtain rail. Luckily we're using this as a one night stop hotel

Location, service and cleanliness are all top. Young warehouse design is fun. We enjoyed the free mini bar drinks and coffee maker in the room. We think that the breakfast area could use more practical seating and more food choices.

Easy five star restaurant with a beautiful ambience. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and specially the duck special. It was well seasoned and the quantity was huge, I was not able to finish it. The roast beef, steak, and fish were all very unique as well. Loved this cost hotel tucked away a nearby river. The rooms in the main house was surprisingly big with a seating area and separate door separating the hallway to the main bedroom. Breakfast was great as well with lots of northern German style produce, hot food and freshly squeezed juices.

Beautiful location. Excellent bar service and bar food. Nice pool area. Unfortunately it's the feather pillows and blanket that take down the points. They felt old and to flat. No AC in the room. Hardly no accessories in the room or bathroom. The room did not feel like a 4 star.

The hotel is very well positioned, close to the train station, bus station, passenger terminals and shopping centers. Everything is clean and well maintained. Very diversified breakfast.

This was a great hotel to stay at to visit Kiel. It has a very good location, close to the main station but also to the harbour and water. Staff was very friendly and we got complementary free public transport tickets during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I like the hotel very much. It is a little bit pricy for me. But it is very clean and comfortable. I like the design very much. The room was very beautiful and has a cool thema. Of course the area around the hotel is very cool. There are lots of restaurants and little cafes. The station and the harbour are very close to the hotel. You can walk to everything.

I was one of several crews of Mein Schiff 1 who stayed here for one night prior to embarkation at Kiel in early December. I stayed in room 103 which is single bed room, and for a room for only one person this is a pretty good room. The desk is very wide so you can put lots of your stuffs in there. They also offer you two bottles of water in the mini fridge but I didn't try them since it cost a money...

We where overbooked at the hotel.. it can happen. However I cannot recommend the service desk, we arrived at 14.30 and asked if we could check-in and they told us we have to wait until 15. I then asked for parking and they recommended the parking in Karstadt for 6€ good deal, so we unloaded the car and I left my wife in the lobby with all suitcases, as I returned 10 minutes later they told us we where...

For three people there is a huge room. We love it. Breakfast very very good.

I did visit this hotel two times first i stayed in a normal room but is small, the second time i stayed in suite ,is very nice room big with very nice view. The best of this hotel is the breakfast hall is on the top of the building with very beautiful views also the bar is next hall on top for the fun nights. I have uploaded photos.

I stayed in a corner double room, on the 9th floor, for one night. Some of the furniture was a bit worn. However it was a pleasant stay and the view of Kiel was terrific. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Expensive and not good secure parking in the garage under the hotel. Crowded, messy, and if the car beside is not good on hold will not print. The location is central and good, the room is very good, very striking and nice bathroom. The breakfast is mediocre.

Nice staff. We stayed here on the warmest day in history so it was HOT in the room since they don't have any climate control. But this was an extraordinary day, so I don't blame them. Cheap parking in the same house. Small but good breakfast. Nice beds. Some walking distance from the main street in Kiel. Around the hotel there is really nothing to do except for a really old galleria.

Large, clean rooms. Continental breakfast was very good (fresh bread rolls, many types of meat and cheeses, muesli, hardboiled eggs). Would stay here again!

Excellent breakfasts, good menu for other meals. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms very clean and comfortable. Large car park, free WiFi, close to bus stops to city and Olympic Centre. All in all a wonderful stay, and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The room , although comfy was adequate in size but had no wardrobe or drawer space, only a small hanging rail and a shelf. We stayed for a week and I wonder if these hotels are actually catering for very short stays

The room felt cramped and there was no deskspace. The shower and beds were clean . I didn't have a chance to use the breakfast because it started at 6.30 and I needed to leave at 6.15. Location was great !

The Hotel is located in a quiet residential area. Plenty of Parking in the backyard. Service is very friendly. Zi little older, adequate and clean. Although older, everything is well maintained. Good location in the city center, everything is within walking distance. If you stay on the higher floors, you can see a great view from the windows. I lived in much better Hostels in Europe for cheaper price that this Hotel. But I guess you can't ask for much in this small town. Nearest free parking is 1.6km away. They don't have a restaurant or a kitchen on the premises. Towels, soap and shampoo are provided.

Very cozy and the staff was very kind. Maybe it would have been better if we'd had a temperature controller in the bathroom (or either we didn't figure it out how to do it). But it waa perfect.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht da...aber man kann nur begeistert sein. Absolut professionelles und super nettes Personal. Alle haben hier locker 10 Sterne verdient. Wir hatten schon ein Zimmer mitnehmen Bad,mit Regendusche...perfekt.... Ein durchgehende Matratze wäre schön gewesen aber dafür ziehe ich keinen Stern ab. Kleine feine Whisky Auswahl an der Bar.... Ich glaube wenn es einen Aufzugs hätte wären...

The room is basic but spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful during our stay there. When we needed to keep our medication/baby food chilled, they provided us with a mini fridge at no extra charge. Breakfast was lovely and the attentive staff provided my children with colouring materials to keep them entertained. I'll rate the place 5 stars purely based on my experience with the personnel...

Nice service and cosy room

I was able do very late check in at 3am because my train was late. The check in was smooth. I stayed only one night and didn't try the breakfast. The room was good, not so big but clean. My room had a balcony and had a nice city view. Might be bit expensive comparing price-amenities ratio. But hey..

Room and bathroom were extremely small, the carpet on the ground wasn't cleaned, and some yellow liquid was in the toilet, I just flushed it quickly hopping it was a cleaning agent and not pee. At least the staff is very nice. I would suggest spending 10 or 20 more a night and go in a decent hotel rather than this one, the value for money is terrible.

Nice quiet hotel, which was very easy to find, as it is just at the road that continues after the high way from west. We got a big room out to the backyard. The hotel has a small free car park in the backyard and they also seem to have a possibility of basement parking. There is also the possibility of parking on the street in front of the hotel, if you are lucky enough to get a parking space there...

Good room and breakfast, pore parkering. The room had two beds that made a kings size bed. There were also two extra beds perfect for children. The hotel is close to the railroad station that may affect your sleep. We needed to park on the street, it is free from 22.00 to 10.00.

Für eine Übernachtung ausreichend. Es war sauber, der Duschkopf sollte mal gewechselt werden, außerdem war ich schon mal in günstigeren Hotels untergebracht, aber zumindest war dort für ausreichend Duschgel/Shampoo gesorgt. Für eine Nacht war es auszuhalten.
