Stayed at Atlantic Hotel Kiel for one night before our cruise. Excellent location, right across the road from the Kiel train station. Easy walking to malls and restaurants. The two rooms we reserved were clean, bright and airy. The front desk were super friendly and helpful, especially as they allowed us to check in slightly earlier and gave us advice regarding how to get to our ship the next day...

Great location opposite the train station. The service is good. They kept the place very clean and well maintained even though it has been in operations for many years. The breakfast is solid and the live station is always a crowd favourite. The gym is small but functional. There is a rooftop bar which is popular.

Visiting Kiel, Germany for the first time, logging was very important. The Atlantic Hotel is ideally located with everything. Walking distance to an indoor shopping mall, transport hub (Bus, Tax, Train), pier (Tourist Center with Cruise ships). Local restaurants are next door, if you want KFC, McDonald, you bet, it right there.

Great experience at the Atlantic Hotel Kiel! We spend 3 days in Kiel where we stayed at this hotel with a prime location. Breakfast was excellent and our room was great as well. The staff, not least Miroslav at the reception, made us feel extremely welcome. All in all a highly recommendable hotel with a both professional and friendly atmosphere including top class facilities and a great staff.

This is a newley renovated hotel and it looks totaly new. Nice parkering in the basement with a lift to the reception. We had a suite and good space for å family of 4. Nice food in the restaurant, good service in the bar. Exelent if you need a place to stay to be in position for the Color Line ferry the next day.

Location, service and cleanliness are all top. Young warehouse design is fun. We enjoyed the free mini bar drinks and coffee maker in the room. We think that the breakfast area could use more practical seating and more food choices.

The perfect hotel with 1972 architecture. It was like walking back in time. I Hope this never changes. Especially the swimmingpool had perfect 1972 tiles on the floor. Unfortunately the safe box did not work neither did one key.

Can't say enough about this place. Great staff; very friendly. The breakfast is good. You are far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to drive into the city center in about 15 minutes. I would stay here again.

Convenient central location, a short walk from a few reasonable restaurants in the Altstadt. Typical business orienated hotel for short stay visitors. Rooms were fine but small and dull. It is not a holiday hotel. Only draw back was limited and very tight parking underneath. Park nearby at the Parkhaus Schlossgarage, cheaper and much more space.

The hotel was not bad at all. The rooms where also nice. Though was it very annoying, that they insisted at check in, that the time had to be 3 pm. I can understand, that when I came the first time, at around 1:30, the rooms might not have been ready. (most other hotels, would make an effort to make a room ready, but not here) So I came again around 13 minutes before 3 pm, and was still told to wait...

The location is ideal, it's located near the centre of Kiel, the staff is also very friendly and easy going. The rooms ar not cleaned well and the toilet looks dirty. There was a massive layers of dust under the bed. The windows were crooked and could not open properly without touching the curtain rail. Luckily we're using this as a one night stop hotel

Stayed in a huge family room, modern, clean and comfortable. A bit of noise from outside late at night so had to close the windows. No air conditioning so got a bit hot. Good breakfast but they were a bit slow to replenish items, perhaps this was because we arrived for breakfast towards the end of service.

Loved this cost hotel tucked away a nearby river. The rooms in the main house was surprisingly big with a seating area and separate door separating the hallway to the main bedroom. Breakfast was great as well with lots of northern German style produce, hot food and freshly squeezed juices.

Beautiful location. Excellent bar service and bar food. Nice pool area. Unfortunately it's the feather pillows and blanket that take down the points. They felt old and to flat. No AC in the room. Hardly no accessories in the room or bathroom. The room did not feel like a 4 star.

A lovely hotel, nicely decorated and the larger rooms overlooking the grounds are highly recommended. Breakfast was OK. Waiting staff slightly glum but not enough to detract from the fact I would return without hesitation. Most hotels in Germany are dull, glum and slightly communist in their design. This was none of those things and that's why it gets five stars from me.

Easy five star restaurant with a beautiful ambience. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and specially the duck special. It was well seasoned and the quantity was huge, I was not able to finish it. The roast beef, steak, and fish were all very unique as well. Not Ritz Hotel but a decent place to stay if you are passing through and need somewhere to stay overnight. Quite easy to find parking in the area and the hotel is situated a short walk to the shopping district. Great breakfast with perfect covid-19 safety measures. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms and friendly service. The location seems nice. No major complaints, but they don't have double beds (two singles together - German hotels), no air conditioner, and no lift. I believe that the cleaning of the room could have been better.

I was one of several crews of Mein Schiff 1 who stayed here for one night prior to embarkation at Kiel in early December. I stayed in room 103 which is single bed room, and for a room for only one person this is a pretty good room. The desk is very wide so you can put lots of your stuffs in there. They also offer you two bottles of water in the mini fridge but I didn't try them since it cost a money...

I lived in much better Hostels in Europe for cheaper price that this Hotel. But I guess you can't ask for much in this small town. Nearest free parking is 1.6km away. They don't have a restaurant or a kitchen on the premises. Towels, soap and shampoo are provided.

Nice and cheap Hotel. Something is outside the city center of Kiel, but right next to the Mare Klinikum (for foreign nationals visiting so ideal) and transport is to achieve a technically very good.

We where overbooked at the hotel.. it can happen. However I cannot recommend the service desk, we arrived at 14.30 and asked if we could check-in and they told us we have to wait until 15. I then asked for parking and they recommended the parking in Karstadt for 6€ good deal, so we unloaded the car and I left my wife in the lobby with all suitcases, as I returned 10 minutes later they told us we where...

I did visit this hotel two times first i stayed in a normal room but is small, the second time i stayed in suite ,is very nice room big with very nice view. The best of this hotel is the breakfast hall is on the top of the building with very beautiful views also the bar is next hall on top for the fun nights. I have uploaded photos.

I stayed in a corner double room, on the 9th floor, for one night. Some of the furniture was a bit worn. However it was a pleasant stay and the view of Kiel was terrific. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

The room is basic but spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful during our stay there. When we needed to keep our medication/baby food chilled, they provided us with a mini fridge at no extra charge. I was able do very late check in at 3am because my train was late. The check in was smooth. I stayed only one night and didn't try the breakfast. The room was good, not so big but clean. My room had a balcony and had a nice city view. Might be bit expensive comparing price-amenities ratio. But hey..

Room and bathroom were extremely small, the carpet on the ground wasn't cleaned, and some yellow liquid was in the toilet, I just flushed it quickly hopping it was a cleaning agent and not pee. At least the staff is very nice. I would suggest spending 10 or 20 more a night and go in a decent hotel rather than this one, the value for money is terrible.

Nice quiet hotel, which was very easy to find, as it is just at the road that continues after the high way from west. We got a big room out to the backyard. The hotel has a small free car park in the backyard and they also seem to have a possibility of basement parking. There is also the possibility of parking on the street in front of the hotel, if you are lucky enough to get a parking space there...

Nice staff. We stayed here on the warmest day in history so it was HOT in the room since they don't have any climate control. But this was an extraordinary day, so I don't blame them. Good room and breakfast, pore parkering. The room had two beds that made a kings size bed. There were also two extra beds perfect for children. The hotel is close to the railroad station that may affect your sleep. We needed to park on the street, it is free from 22.00 to 10.00.

Good location in the city center, everything is within walking distance. If you stay on the higher floors, you can see a great view from the windows. It was pretty budget but it was a good night sleep and staff were friendly. No free parking as far as I could see. If there was, they need to advertise where it is.

Für eine Übernachtung ausreichend. Es war sauber, der Duschkopf sollte mal gewechselt werden, außerdem war ich schon mal in günstigeren Hotels untergebracht, aber zumindest war dort für ausreichend Duschgel/Shampoo gesorgt. Für eine Nacht war es auszuhalten.

Für ein 2 Sternehotel angemesse Ausstattung der Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls gut. Die Bäder könnten aber sauberer sein, bzw benötigen eine Renovierung.
