Nice hotel with convenient location just across the Train Station. Rooms are good in size and clean. Nice breakfast with lots of options. Miroslav at the reception was very helpful and kind with his broad smile.

Stayed at Atlantic Hotel Kiel for one night before our cruise. Excellent location, right across the road from the Kiel train station. Easy walking to malls and restaurants. The two rooms we reserved were clean, bright and airy. The front desk were super friendly and helpful, especially as they allowed us to check in slightly earlier and gave us advice regarding how to get to our ship the next day...

Great location opposite the train station. The service is good. They kept the place very clean and well maintained even though it has been in operations for many years. The breakfast is solid and the live station is always a crowd favourite. The gym is small but functional. There is a rooftop bar which is popular.

Visiting Kiel, Germany for the first time, logging was very important. The Atlantic Hotel is ideally located with everything. Walking distance to an indoor shopping mall, transport hub (Bus, Tax, Train), pier (Tourist Center with Cruise ships). Local restaurants are next door, if you want KFC, McDonald, you bet, it right there.

Great experience at the Atlantic Hotel Kiel! We spend 3 days in Kiel where we stayed at this hotel with a prime location. Breakfast was excellent and our room was great as well. The staff, not least Miroslav at the reception, made us feel extremely welcome. All in all a highly recommendable hotel with a both professional and friendly atmosphere including top class facilities and a great staff.

This is a newley renovated hotel and it looks totaly new. Nice parkering in the basement with a lift to the reception. We had a suite and good space for å family of 4. Nice food in the restaurant, good service in the bar. Exelent if you need a place to stay to be in position for the Color Line ferry the next day.

Location, service and cleanliness are all top. Young warehouse design is fun. We enjoyed the free mini bar drinks and coffee maker in the room. We think that the breakfast area could use more practical seating and more food choices.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. The room , although comfy was adequate in size but had no wardrobe or drawer space, only a small hanging rail and a shelf. We stayed for a week and I wonder if these hotels are actually catering for very short stays

Very nice hotel, perfectly located. The room was clean and we had a nice view. Only problem all hotels seem to have, is to provide enough hangers for towels in the bathroom. The room felt cramped and there was no deskspace. The shower and beds were clean . I didn't have a chance to use the breakfast because it started at 6.30 and I needed to leave at 6.15. Location was great !

Can't say enough about this place. Great staff; very friendly. The breakfast is good. You are far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to drive into the city center in about 15 minutes. I would stay here again.

Convenient central location, a short walk from a few reasonable restaurants in the Altstadt. Typical business orienated hotel for short stay visitors. Rooms were fine but small and dull. It is not a holiday hotel. Only draw back was limited and very tight parking underneath. Park nearby at the Parkhaus Schlossgarage, cheaper and much more space.

The hotel was not bad at all. The rooms where also nice. Though was it very annoying, that they insisted at check in, that the time had to be 3 pm. I can understand, that when I came the first time, at around 1:30, the rooms might not have been ready. (most other hotels, would make an effort to make a room ready, but not here) So I came again around 13 minutes before 3 pm, and was still told to wait...

Pretty good hotel. Decent breakfast. Small fitness room. Some of the rooms have a nice view of a park and water.

Our first night in Kiel was spent here. I still look back fondly on that night. It was quiet, clean, and overall impressive for the price.

The location is ideal, it's located near the centre of Kiel, the staff is also very friendly and easy going. The rooms ar not cleaned well and the toilet looks dirty. There was a massive layers of dust under the bed. The windows were crooked and could not open properly without touching the curtain rail. Luckily we're using this as a one night stop hotel

Value for money good. Cleaning could be better and bathrooms needs attention, apart of it super place for one night on the road.

Stayed in a huge family room, modern, clean and comfortable. A bit of noise from outside late at night so had to close the windows. No air conditioning so got a bit hot. Good breakfast but they were a bit slow to replenish items, perhaps this was because we arrived for breakfast towards the end of service.

Rooms are nice and clean. The staff are friendly, and makes you feel welcome. The location is perfect, with walking distance to shopping, bars and restaurants. The fitness area offers a big vareiy of strength training machines, but there's no cardio machines and no freeweights. Overall a nice hotel.

I lived in much better Hostels in Europe for cheaper price that this Hotel. But I guess you can't ask for much in this small town. Nearest free parking is 1.6km away. They don't have a restaurant or a kitchen on the premises. Towels, soap and shampoo are provided.

It was pretty budget but it was a good night sleep and staff were friendly. No free parking as far as I could see. If there was, they need to advertise where it is.

Für eine Übernachtung ausreichend. Es war sauber, der Duschkopf sollte mal gewechselt werden, außerdem war ich schon mal in günstigeren Hotels untergebracht, aber zumindest war dort für ausreichend Duschgel/Shampoo gesorgt. Für eine Nacht war es auszuhalten.

Für ein 2 Sternehotel angemesse Ausstattung der Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls gut. Die Bäder könnten aber sauberer sein, bzw benötigen eine Renovierung.

The perfect hotel with 1972 architecture. It was like walking back in time. I Hope this never changes. Especially the swimmingpool had perfect 1972 tiles on the floor. Unfortunately the safe box did not work neither did one key.

A nice place to stay in Kiel for the weekend with the pool and spa making it much more worthwhile. It is walking distance to the waterfront and many restaurants but I would advise having a car or at least a bike/scooter to make the most of this location. Very nice rooms with great balconies. We were on the side facing away from the water but I still enjoyed sitting on the balcony and reading. Great breakfast options that filled us up every morning. We went in June and it was a little warm in the rooms to have no AC. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience!

This was a great hotel to stay at to visit Kiel. It has a very good location, close to the main station but also to the harbour and water. Staff was very friendly and we got complementary free public transport tickets during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was here for an education conference and found the location to be somewhat in the middle of nowhere. The facility itself was pleasant and suitable but I wouldn't recommend coming here for any other reason.

Got a slightly dirty room on arrival, but they changed it as soon as I informed them of it. Nice ambience and slightly different decor, friendly staff.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was really big and clean, with even a second floor with a table and two chairs. One of our beds was really comfortable, the other one's mattress was pretty hard. The staff is nice and helpful. (We didn't try the breakfast as it was pretty expensive.) So for a two star hotel it was pretty good I guess

Close to train station (just a few bus stations away), comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, helpful and friendly staff and very good breakfast. (When taking the bus you can use the same ticket for 2 hours on any bus; taxis are very expensive: for a 6 km fair I paid 20 euro!)

I like the hotel very much. It is a little bit pricy for me. But it is very clean and comfortable. I like the design very much. The room was very beautiful and has a cool thema. Of course the area around the hotel is very cool. There are lots of restaurants and little cafes. The station and the harbour are very close to the hotel. You can walk to everything.

Not Ritz Hotel but a decent place to stay if you are passing through and need somewhere to stay overnight. Quite easy to find parking in the area and the hotel is situated a short walk to the shopping district. Great breakfast with perfect covid-19 safety measures. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again if I'm going to Kiel.

Spacious rooms and friendly service. The location seems nice. No major complaints, but they don't have double beds (two singles together - German hotels), no air conditioner, and no lift. I believe that the cleaning of the room could have been better.

I was one of several crews of Mein Schiff 1 who stayed here for one night prior to embarkation at Kiel in early December. I stayed in room 103 which is single bed room, and for a room for only one person this is a pretty good room. The desk is very wide so you can put lots of your stuffs in there. They also offer you two bottles of water in the mini fridge but I didn't try them since it cost a money...

Loved this cost hotel tucked away a nearby river. The rooms in the main house was surprisingly big with a seating area and separate door separating the hallway to the main bedroom. Breakfast was great as well with lots of northern German style produce, hot food and freshly squeezed juices.

Beautiful location. Excellent bar service and bar food. Nice pool area. Unfortunately it's the feather pillows and blanket that take down the points. They felt old and to flat. No AC in the room. Hardly no accessories in the room or bathroom. The room did not feel like a 4 star.

A lovely hotel, nicely decorated and the larger rooms overlooking the grounds are highly recommended. Breakfast was OK. Waiting staff slightly glum but not enough to detract from the fact I would return without hesitation. Most hotels in Germany are dull, glum and slightly communist in their design. This was none of those things and that's why it gets five stars from me.
