Calm place. Nice staff. Good breakfast and supper. Clean. Comfortable bed. I recommend

This hotel still uses physical keys for the rooms in place of electronic ones. Nevertheless, the rooms are wide, comfortable. Matresses are basically of the hard type. All in all, the atmosphere is clean, neat close to be classy. Rush at breakfast otherwise you will lose the best (I mean croissants, salmon). So be there at 7 am , 8 max.

Nice comfortable room. Very nice meals served in the restaurant. My only complaint would be a lack of air conditioning. The rooms get quite warm and your only option is opening your window. Otherwise very nice place.

Die Freundlichkeit vom einchecken bis zur Abreise war durchweg positiv. Es war ein gut sortiertes Frühstück vorhanden. Die Lage sehr ruhig aber doch nah am Zentrum. Das Restaurant direkt am Hitel und der kostenlose Parkplatz sind auch Pluspunkte. Also gesamt kann ich sagen sehr zu empfehlen komme auch gerne wieder.

My wife and I spent a nice evening today, 23 August, at the restaurant of Stadthotel Waldhorn. Excellent location at Marktplatz, surrounded by beautifully restored and maintained houses (Fachwerkhäuser). Sumptuous food (appetizer, main course, and cake for dessert), accompanied by fine rose wine. Very friendly waiter and waitresses. Overall a very pleasant experience; highly recommended.

We liked this place although we could not get mini bar on the room and a safe, which was a little bit uncomfortable. But other things were good including the clean, breakfast and coffee every morning. We consider adding it to Guidol our traveling app for millennials.

Nice Swabian hotel with a Swabian restaurant. Friendly staff. Outside a traditional building and inside completely modernized. Parking is free but a little challenging.

Sometimes ratings do not always are about how an accommodation looks. Sometimes it is about how people react. Yesterday after a 6 hour travel my family and I arrived at the hotel for our stop. We have two younger kids so we do not want to travel 10 or 11 hours. We where happy to arrive at the hotel, but then came to a sad conclusion. The carpet in the room was to high and triggered my allergic reaction...

Clean tidy room, old equipment, shower relatively small. Modern flat screen TV. My room was right on the street with hellhöhrigen windows. No reception available. Still okay.

Am Buchwald is located away from Esslingen Mitte and offer a quiet and pleasant environment for overnight rest. The rooms are also conducive and offers a comfortable mattress.

Basic hotel - clean, staff extremely helpful

The staff is amazing! They went out of there way to assure that we were placed in the room we desired! They provide a very good variety for a Continental breakfast! This hotel is not in a tourist area. If you happen to be in Berkheim for any reason this is a nice place to stay!

Me and my husband are satisfied with the stay at Seminaris Hotel. The room was a good size, wide beds and modern decor. Bathroom was very clean, but bits of mould were sticking out through the grout in the shower. Also there were coffee stains on the floor in the less accessible bits of the room. For example there was a floor lamp that wasn’t moved for a while and the floor was not wiped there… but...

Very friendly and competent staff both at reception and at breakfast. A very nice pool and excellent breakfast (without plastic)! The room furnishings take some getting used to, especially for older guests; an iron seat without a backrest in the double room! Bedside lamps are light bulbs hanging from a wire! Apart from that, I would recommend the hotel anytime and am especially grateful to the staff

Good location, parking fee is 12€ and in my eyes far too expensive. Breakfast was very delicious and rich. Bed was dirty unfortnately and other interior, especially in the bathroom a little bit Old style.

Hello thermal bath community I only know the outside pool. From the youth ... Today for the first time BB indoor thermal bath. IRENA Aftercare program Small, nice, very helpful, super friendly, what more could I want .... oh the weckle mighty to my pair of country hunters ... Physiotherapists are demanding and attentive. Is a very small mineral bath with two pools, one of which is currently being rebuilt and is therefore blocked. Everything is okay. You really shouldn't expect anything big ... What annoyed me is that you can only leave the parking lot with a code, but nowhere is there a hint where you can get it from. You have to take a piece of paper with a code from a small bowl at the thermal bath's cash desk. Here...

Price / performance fits. Small children are also welcome here in contrast to other thermal baths in the area. The pools have nothing special to offer, but for a relaxing time in warm thermal water it is by far enough.

I like to go there not so crowded. Quiet atmosphere and very nice staff. The same applies to the vital center. If you don't want to train in a hustle and bustle, this is the right place for you.

The staff really makes up for everything else that's not the best. The management here should know how much this means! The food and amenities and facilities were all amazing as they are every time.

The hallway was under construction and looked rather old and shabby. The rooms had a simple look, but were well kept and time was taken to keep places neat. My personal highlight was the pool and sauna area. These have been very well maintained. And can easily be accessed. Also , the service was great. And the break fast buffet was awesome!

Unusual thing was when asking for iron and ironing board, yes of course I could have it but only in hotel lobby, not to my room.

Had some bad luck. Only got a room that wasn't cleaned. That should not happen. Another room was then quickly made available to me. Hotel is right under the airport approach path, but that's not their fault. Price performance is quite ok. What they can do for, however, is that they make no effort at the breakfast buffet. It doesn't get much more spartan than that.

Rooms were clean. The place had been recently renovated. Had a problem with no receptionist and had to call someone who didn't speak English to get the key. WiFi only worked in the lobby and directly outside. Rooms are small but comfy enough.

On the edge of town says it all. And directly under the flight path. However, it is also very inexpensive. A Bed. A Shower Cabin. A small Breakfast. Everything you nothing more needs but. Positive the 24 hours of arrival.

This is a great place to stay. The breakfast is stunning and it itself is a reason to go there. We got there very late and the key box worked very well. Even if your destinatin is Stuttgart you should consider staying here.

The hotel is nice but could be better , no closet for the clothes, no boiler for hot drinks no mini bar as well, I gave the service 5 starts because of the receptionist Ahmed and the lady responsible for the breakfast they’re nice. Breakfast is okay.

The view here is amazing and the flowers are lovely. A great place to have a romantic getaway with your Partner and also, a place where one could visit as a family when visiting Stuttgart and particularly Esslingen. The view from the top of the hill is incomparable and there are lots of outdoor where you can either have a run, relax or meetup with friends. Top place 😀😀👍

Poor internet, small rooms, heavy traffic to/from Neckar valley

I've been at the restaurant. The place is really nice, the food was not so good but not bad either. Near the restaurant there is a cool place to walk around, nice to spend sometime with the family and/ or friends.

Stayed here with some colleagues in the beginning of November. The room was nice and modern and the breakfast was quite OK. There is a balcony overlooking Esslingen below with a fantastic view. The downside is no restaurant and no local pub. The reception closes at 18:00 and there is no seating area after that.

Very nice room, very modern and up to date. On the side of a steep hill, so driving and parking can be a little nerve racking for we Americans used to larger roads and parking lots, but still very nice.

Was and will be back for the next half year! Stay there because of several training courses at the TAE. The single rooms are spacious and clean. Communication is also via WhatsApp, which is very relaxed for me as a young person. Also easily accessible by phone.

We (4 adults and 2 kids) stayed one night in one room at there to go to Legoland next day. The room was really clean. And breakfast was great! Especially homemade jam was really tasty. At restaurant , there was aquarium so kids didn't get bored after they finished breakfast. So adults could have nice breakfast time. Fresh bread and many different ham and yogurt... they were really friendly and nice...

Good place to stay for short or long journeys, when you are not pretentious and not necessarily looking for sophistication, but rather minding your own pocket. Good deal for the money, practical, comfortable and well situated.

Windows weren't quite isolating the noises from outside. You can get woken up conveniently by the city people. WiFi was slow but acceptable.

This is a quaint hotel, not too fancy. Lovely little town near Stuttgart. The staff here is the reason for the rating. They waited on us as well as any hotel ever has. They were curtious, knew what we wanted BEFORE we even asked, and even taught me some German. For this reason, I highly recommend.

We come every three months and for the last three years we’ve been accommodated at this nice hotel. There’s no way we would change…!

I've stayed at this hotel over ten times since 2007 will on business in the Stuttgart area. Every time has been as good as the last. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. The recent introduction of free WiFi in the hotel is a great addition. I look forward to returning during my next trip.

Corporate style hotel in the heart of this pretty chocolate box German Town. It was the medieval Christmas market when I was there which was amazing. Rooms are clean and quiet and breakfast buffet is great. Thanks Schillerpark for a good stay

4 stars only because I would like fly screens on the windows. Rooms are more than reasonable for the price. The food in the associated restaurant is tasty and cheap and the employees are friendly and helpful across the board. Exemplary.

A great place to stay over the weekend, very close to the city old center, climate friendly (the hotel produces his own electricity). A very tasty breakfast made out of bio and local products.

Really helpful at reception. We traveled with a tiny bird and we were really welcomed here, unlike other hotels in the area, that promote themselves as animals/pet friendly but were really difficult. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. At departure, they even gave us a small gift! We stayed here before (3 or 4 times) and we will definitely come back!

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wir haben uns wirklich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier werden wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Esslingen definitiv wieder buchen.

Was a shiny gem in a dumpy part of town. Is still pretty modern, but starting to feel dated. Very large rooms. Underground, on site parking. Dieses Hotel ist sehr sauber und freundlich. Das Restaurant, das sie vor Ort haben, ist immer flexibel bei Ihren Wünschen. Am meisten habe ich die Gastfreundschaft genossen! Fühlte mich sehr wohl hier für meine 3 Wochen und so weiter während eines Besuchs in Süddeutschland. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen, der in dieser Gegend bleiben möchte, besonders weil es so nahe an den historischen Teilen Deutschlands...
