great place, very quiet, very friendly hosts and a very good breakfast… totally recommendable and will come back for sure

Beds very comfortable but...pillows rubbish, right by train tracks with noisy goods trains running through the night.

Hotel Simonis is a great hotel. The rooms are really nice. The location is great, right in the center of Kobern-Gondorf.

Nice little hotel near Koblenz (15 minutes drive). Very special little place, where you feel that you have a set you stepped inside. We were there off season (end of september) and it was very quiet. The village seems to be dominated by a hotel and restaurant, which actually most were closed. Also, we were the only guests, very friendly (Italian) owners couple. Hotel looks great (bit dated) and clean...

The staff was very friendly and service was really good. We liked the hotel very much, the room was large and bed was very comfy. The room was quiet, we slept well. Parking lot is near the hotel and it was free and secure. The hotel is 20 mins away from the Eltz Castle, the castle is really worth to see. We really enjoyed and definitely stay again :)

large, comfortable room, safe place for our bicycles, bar fridge, coffee/tea facility and, best of all in the heat, a roof fan in our room.

Super thing - room clean, newly renovated, very pleasant quiet overnight stay. Service from the waiter to the food was first class - to be recommended at any time, again and again, even if it was only 4 days.

We ate well there twice and drank fine wines and sparkling wine. The price-performance ratio is right and the service is friendly. It is best to reserve a table, as the ostrich inn is well frequented.

Beautiful location, but friendliness has a different meaning. I was told in an almost rude manner that lunch was not possible. Update: I went back at the end of the day to buy some local wine and found the service very pleasant. First impression today was bad, but now it is positive.

Nice place and very friendly staff. We ordered beers and pizza which was ok. When it was time to leave and we wanted to pay they told us their pin machine wasnt working.. we don't carry cash so they should've told us before ordering but they offered to let us pay the next day. Which we did, and again they were very friendly. Nice place!

Excellent place to drink on Mosel, the tall Italian fellow who’s served us was exceptional. Very friendly and attentive service.
