The loviest, coziest, and the most charming hotel I ever stayed at. In this age of corporate hospitality, CONTEL stands out as a home away from home. With a beer garden, cute underground parking, and lots of beautiful art, it makes you feel like you are at your own home. Rooms are so beautifully decorated. It also have a lovely restaurant offering yummy food.

Lovely hotel. Great beer garden, food is good, breakfast is nice, parking is ok. Only not picking issues would be the mattress is too firm but that is subjective. I always stay here when coming to Koblenz.

An amazing place close to city and near Mozel river! It have a nice facilities around - hair dresser, restaurant.
Huge likes - free hotel parking (very nice one with wide parking places).
Bathtub in room - wow! It’s extremely rare to find in hotels.
Big water bottle in every room complimentary.
Hotel stuff are helpful and very welcome.

A good hotel, quiet, the Mosel River is nearby, you can walk along the path along the bank in the evening. A good restaurant, excellent German beer. The rooms are modest but cozy. The service is not intrusive. Everything is strictly German.

I had great experience in Contel Hotel when visiting Koblenz on a business trip. Staff are very nice and kind, rooms are excellent and with good view over the city, great location, elevators got a good size to transport road bikes, (its important to keep your bike protected and clean to respect the higiene of the place) I enjoy of a great sauna after the ride, had a good peaceful night of sleep and in the morning the breakfast are amazing.
It's a place to recommend and return for sure.

Great place. Large, clean, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Friendly, helpful staff. We even extended our stay by two days. The breakfast is great, with a large selection and great espresso drinks. Close to City centre (20 minute walk along the river in a great pathway).

We tried it again - and had the same uncharming reception we had in 2016:
"...Well, after a hundred complaints of our princess for one day attendants, we avoid this hotel for some years. Now, they told us everything had changed. True. It became worse. In my life, I have never seen any such service. I got myself a Latte Macciaccto, and 20 of our workshop attendants wanted to get one too - the servant said "go to the bar and get it, I am not your servant".
Bye bye Contel, we will not miss you...."
That aside, we were brutally overcharged. They even used my credit card without my permission. This is one of the few hotels we had our event in where the best recommendation I can give is "please do not go". Not for a meal, not for a night - and sure not for any kind of event.

Super strange place. You can notice this okward architecture and style both inside and outside. Rooms are equipped but that comfortable. Lunch was nice.
