Nice spot on the Moselle, with a biergarten

Had a little gym. No other hotels in Koblenz have this. It a nice relaxed place just along the river from the city centre. Nice 15 min walk into the city. Good rooms and facilities. Easy parking in underground garage at hotel.

Nice hotel, nice service, ok breakfast, spacious room, quite a distance from the city but nice and easy walk.

My partner, parents and myself have just returned from a lovely holiday to Koblenz. We looked at many hotels and decided on this hotel, I'd read all the reviews so knew that it was a 20 minute walk into the city, we were happy with this. We arrived on a Saturday night, the beer garden is obviously very popular, the staff were great and gave us good instructions into ordering and collecting the food. The food is unbelievable, portions are gigantic much more than any of us could actually eat!!!! Good variety including veggie food. We'd booked twin comfort rooms which were very spacious, we were definitely comfortable, the beds were good. We slept well. We hadn't booked breakfast but tried it the 1st morning and found a good selection so we had breakfast each morning. We found the hotel seems to be geared towards corporate guests during the week rather than holiday makers. We aimed for breakfast at 08.30 as most of the business men had left by then. The breakfast selection was adequate including some gluten free and veggie options. Decent coffee. The reception staff were all polite and helpful, booking us taxis when we asked. They were always smiling. The hotel itself is huge with quirky colours! The corridors seemed quiet , we never heard other guests. We loved the fact if you didn't want your room cleaning you got treats left. We found a couple of supermarkets nearby with greats snacks and drinks. When we arrived we didn't have a fridge in the room, we had a quick word at reception and a fridge was delivered within minutes. Brilliant service. We are unlikely to visit this area again but if we did we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The loviest, coziest, and the most charming hotel I ever stayed at. In this age of corporate hospitality, CONTEL stands out as a home away from home. With a beer garden, cute underground parking, and lots of beautiful art, it makes you feel like you are at your own home. Rooms are so beautifully decorated. It also have a lovely restaurant offering yummy food.

Lovely hotel. Great beer garden, food is good, breakfast is nice, parking is ok. Only not picking issues would be the mattress is too firm but that is subjective. I always stay here when coming to Koblenz.

I arrived, somewhat unusually, as a solo traveller, and chose the hotel for its location next to the Moselle. I like to walk, and the hotel afforded a good walk along the river, down to the main tourist attractions and the Altstadt.
The hotel architecture was absolutely fascinating, and for anyone who likes quirky, this is the place to stay. My room was spacious and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. My poor German wasn't a problem! The breakfast on offer was very good, but perhaps you need a good appetite to fully appreciate it!
I very much enjoyed my stay in Koblenz, and was very happy with my choice of hotel.
