The property was very clean. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. Even though the water in the room was not hot, I would reccomend this hotel to other solo travelers.

The stay was excellent and breakfast plentiful and enjoyable It is a short 20 minutes walk into town which is just as well because in the heat or rain it is all but impossible to order a taxi even though the hotel staff tried their best. The only criticism of the hotel is that although I did not want my sheets changed daily, I would have at least wanted the bed made each day.

I wouldn't stay here in summer again, the room is unbearable and there's no Aircon. Woke up in a boiling room at 6am, great fun

The hotel is lovingly run, the rooms are new and well furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very quiet. The food in the restaurant is - as with mothers - very tasty. The positive overall impression is rounded off by a breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. Fantastic hotel, with great rooms. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The kitchen knows its trade and has spoiled and satisfied us all week. As a guest I am often at the Hotel Dobrachtal. The employees are very nice, the rooms are clean and tidy. In the comfort category, the bathrooms are equipped even with marble. The food in the Restaurant tastes very good. I'm always happy to Kulmbach.

Hotel has a great and central location. Super public parking facilities 50 meters from hotel. Hotel serves only breakfast. Breakfast is ok and average. We had a quite and spacey room with balcony facing courtyard on top floor (3. floor), there is no lift.

After a friendly reception, we moved into the large room, here we even have 2 televisions for the different areas of the room. No modern furnishings but clean and functional, plus a large bathroom,

Super centrally located, right on the market square. Perfectly renovated, modern rooms in a historic building. A fantastic dinner in the adjoining restaurant, the "Schwarzer Reiter," and a lovely breakfast the next morning. Upscale ambiance at moderate prices. It couldn't be better; we thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking in the nearby, almost empty parking garage was completely hassle-free.

Good location, self check-in, quiet and spacious room, kitchenette, but lots of spiders on windows and ceilings. It was terrible!

We stayed a night here and it was very pleasant and clean and quite spacious as well for a small family. We liked how easy the self-check in was and that there were cooking amenities as well as a fridge. It was a quaint place in a quit area up a hill. Would stay here again for our next pit stop.

The hotel is a bit old. The room is in need of some refurbishment and should be updated a bit. Shower and toilet are in the room and are clean. There is WiFi and a TV is available. I think the price per night is a bit high

A spotlessly clean hotel with lovely spacious rooms in the the main building. The staff were all fantastic and very friendly. Our only problem was the weird room perfume in our room. We removed it as quickly as possible, but the room still stank of it so much that we had to leave the window open the whole night.

We love this hotel. it was the second time we went to Bayreuth Festspiele and stayed here. It is very peaceful, great scenery, comfortable beds, great breakfast. You get snacks and drinks before opera and can have the transfer to the opera and back. Late-night dinner is specially organized for guests. Very much looking towards staying here again next year!

We were tucked away in the dependence where we had no view and a tiny room. But the swimming pool in the main building made up for it. The pool area was unconsciably overheated and the water measured 35 degrees Celsius.Man you could almost cook a lobster in that.Seriously, we had the pool all to ourselves and it was a godsend for my aching bursitis. We spent a week at the Heissinger Hotel for the festival. A very well maintained hotel. Spacious room (suite) with a terrace and river views. Very comfortable beds and impeccable morning service. The breakfast is excellent: quality products and plentiful. We also had a closed garage. We will definitely come back.

Very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly service and personal care from the owners and staff. The room was a good size and furnished. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the city and the Ölschnitz River. The very good breakfast with fresh fruit and plenty of coffee is an additional recommendation. Was looking for hotel with 2 beds and air conditioning and landed on this one. Last minute trip changes so we were left with limited options. It is an old hotel but the room was clean and the air worked well. Parking was easy with free parking as well as parking deck if free area is full.

The hotel is well geared up for the festival, with shuttle buses for guests to and from performances (€5 pp fee for return) and a light buffet laid on for departing opera goers. Having said that, the facilities are all fine and well maintained, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel was ecellent too. The service is poor, the air conditioner in the room does not heat the room, and you have to go to the front desk to get a hair dryer. This brand has no user-friendly thinking at all, and they only make things difficult for customers to make things convenient for themselves.

We had chosen the hotel because dogs are allowed and I must say that I was positively surprised by the friendly welcome that both we and the dogs had when we arrived. Room and bathroom clean but rather dated. Woodchip wallpaper painted yellow. Crack in one wall. Furniture a bit dated. A bit like staying in student accommodation from 30 years ago. It's a very ordinary hotel. Because it's Sunday, you have to operate the machine yourself, but the location is very good. As soon as you go out, you will find the old town of Bayreuth. It is very convenient to various attractions.

I couldn't find a campsite in Bayreuth, so I stayed at Poseidon. It was great because it accommodated four people. The location was right next to the central square, so it was perfect for a walk and a beer. I highly recommend coming with friends... But please be patient if you're coming with a partner.

It was an old hotel. Every equipment in the room was very old. TV in my room had no signal and didn't work. It was cleaned up in the room. When I checked in, a reception lady said only two times, "your name?" and "room number 17".

Old-fashioned villa and bungalow, very close to the city center, about half an hour's walk to the Festival Theater of the Bayreuth Festival. The breakfast is okay. There is usually no one at the front desk. The staff can only be seen during breakfast. It is a loose management.

My room was supposed to have a double bed, instead it was 2 single bed joined together which was very incovenient for us as it was moving.

Good stay… except the crevice! We enjoyed staying at the ApartHotel. It actually did feel like staying in an apartment. The room was spacious and clean. Our only complaint is that “queen bed” meant sleeping on two twin beds pushed together. Every time I wanted to spoon my spouse I ended up sinking into the crevice between the beds; no good. This youth hostel is more expensive than others, but it also offers a lot more. There is a lot of areas where you can spend time as a group, and at breakfast there are uncommon options like dried banana and - at select days, possibly on weekends? - smoothies. The thing we disliked most is having only one key card per room. If you don't mind this, I can fully recommend this hostel.

This house provides an outstanding experience for families. A modern and most inviting architecture aligns itself nicely to a most professional service by a uniquely friendly staff.
