I had a very pleasant stay at the Linde Gasthof. Very friendly people, large clean room with a comfy bed. The breakfast was very enjoyable and the dinner just great. Highly recommend to stay for a night or two and go to the Wutach Schlucht to be amazed by it's beauty.

Friendly staff, clean rooms but my highlight was the restaurant. Amazing local cuisine and by far the best place to eat in the area.

This place is great, have a good night's sleep and eat well in the centre of Löffingen. It has the traditional atmosphere of a charming wood-creaking black forest hotel. On top of that the owner and chef of the place offers a menu with delicious freshly made dishes that often add a modern and creative twist to the regional cuisine. Been there a couple of times for dinners after work. This place has great food and the atmosphere is nice, unfortunately you will have to wash your smelly clothes after a visit.

Möhrringers Hotel is the best hotel I've ever been to. Definitely better than the 5-star Hilton at Munich airport and the Clarion hotel in Helsinki. On the hill place hotel, has old style small rooms, quite friendly service, food so far ok. The only thing was, hotel staff that lives in a room over our room was very loud over the night , running like animals trough the room, maybe under drugs. So be sure to ask for a room that does not have staff living on top of it.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, the lake Schlüchtsee is only a few Minutes walking distance, as is the Rothaus brewery, both places are definitely worth a visit. Functional hotel in Donaueschingen, excellent to stay a few days waiting for the weather to improve for our canoe trip on the Danube. Breakfast is huge and really nice. One receptionist tried to move us to another room when we needed one day more, but another one let us keep our room, which was great. Rooms are quite big. WiFi worked. But yeah, very transactional and not very hospitable per se.

We have stayed in the Vier Jahreszeiten in Schluchsee for probably the last seven or eight years. It’s only about a 90-minute drive from our home in Switzerland and it feels like a home away from home in many ways. Years ago on the dinner menu they had an amazing dessert. Nice hotel located in the Southern part of Germany close to the Swiss border. Nice room with a big bathroom in a typical German design of the region. A perfect family hotel to stay in the black forest. We stayed in an apartment for four persons for a week. The apartment was well equipment and was cleaned perfectly every day. The owner was there every day and gave us the best recommendations and guidance for activities and interesting points in the black forest. Absolutely adorable.

The views from our beautifully furnished, spacious room were lovely, especially with fall foliage. At the owner's suggestion, we walked into town through the woods and back along the lake. Amazing food and drinks served by friendly and funny staff. Most of the ingredients are delivered by local producers and the quality of the food is outstanding! The view from the balcony is pretty nice. You can spot some cows, hills and a pretty view down the little valley. It is further away from tourist traps and I would consider it a hidden gem of the area.

At first, we were disappointed that we were given a studio uphill from the beautiful house pictured here, but soon found out that it was a new elegant and spacious room overlooking the lake with our own terrace. We only ate at their restaurant, and were we happy to have stopped here?!?! There is a wonderful view over Lake Titisee and a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and service friendly.
