Just love it there. They cater for everyone and everything. Being a regular guest since over ten years. Beautiful rooms, great food, great location. Got absolutely nothing negative to say. But the main thing is their staff! Mr. Strassburg (Operations Manager) Mr. Gere (Head Bartender) Mr. Petresin (Bar) Mr. Kessler (Head of Reception) and all the others, unfortunately can’t name everyone here, are doing an absolute amazing job. They will take care of your needs. It’s absolutely fair to say, this hotel became our second home. Looking forward to many more years to come.

Wer ein Hotel sucht für Familie mit Aktivitäten, Wellness und gutem Essen ist hier genau richtig! Die Kids können im Spielezimmer spielen während die Erwachsenen in Ruhe ihr Menü essen können. Weiter gibt’s noch einen Raum wo die Kids einen Film schauen und von der Spielehalle sind unsere Kids ein großer Fan Das Highlight über Silvester ist das Hoteleigene Feuerwerk. Entspannte Atmosphäre mit super freundlichem Personal und Gästen. Ein großes Dankeschön an Herrn Strassburger, der uns immer unterstützt hat!

Good, but uneven experience for one week here. Rooms had great view. Food, given the cost, was quite good, but no variety at breakfast. The service was at times very good and at times poor. (Eg, asking for a postcard being asked one euro after paying thousands for the stay)

What felt like a hidden gem
We had a fantastic week here with our extended family, facilities and service was superb from concierge to dining. Would highly recommend and definitely go back.

We have stayed in the Vier Jahreszeiten in Schluchsee for probably the last seven or eight years. It’s only about a 90-minute drive from our home in Switzerland and it feels like a home away from home in many ways. Years ago on the dinner menu they had an amazing dessert. It was a warm chocolate cake with ice cream. I loved it. Over the years I’ve always hoped they would have it on the menu again. This year, I thought what the heck, why not ask if it’s possible to make one for me. So I asked Herr Strassburg, the head of the dining room. He said he would see what he can do. I really appreciated his willingness to try to make it happen. And what do you know, the next day at dinner I had it. It was as great as I remembered it. Most importantly, it was a real sign of how Herr Strassburg, but also the whole team here, really try to fulfill their customers’ desires.

Elegant established hotel - 5min drive to seafront, no sea view from hotel. No air conditioning, carpets everywhere but at least good beds and very clean!!!! . Breakfast very good included prosecco and smoked salmon. Very polite and attentive restaurant personel and cleaning ladies. Very complicated to change something. I made the mistake of not asking beforehand about basics and reserving thru a booking company.

Nice Hotel. Clean and big rooms with most of what is needed … plenty of towels . Good beds . We were missing : Coffee maker in the room Shower gel. Conditioner This would really be a minimum in such a hotel ! Staff was really friendly The pool is nice and big but the kids pool is super small ans really only for baby’s Food is really average and we didn’t like it . But breakfast was amazing . Play area for kids really nice . The kids club never opened during our stay. So do not count on it ! Overall the hotel is really a good asset and price is totally correct. The food should really be better quality and quantity !

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience. The breakfast was good, but the overall vibe was very outdated, reminiscent of the 70s. Unfortunately, the evening dinner options also left much to be desired. Evenings also lacked entertainment, and the absence of activities made it quite dull.

The wellness area was far from relaxing with an excess of noisy children, the water was cold, and the bubbles didn't last long in the jacuzzi and hot tub. The sauna area was also very small. Despite the advertisement of many different massage options, when it came to booking a massage they were very limited, and my pre-booked massage was even canceled on the day.

To make matters worse, the numerous extra expenses incurred throughout the stay were frustrating.

Overall, the quality fell very short of justifying the high price tag. I would not recommend staying here.
