Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience. The breakfast was good, but the overall vibe was very outdated, reminiscent of the 70s. Unfortunately, the evening dinner options also left much to be desired. Evenings also lacked entertainment, and the absence of activities made it quite dull.

The wellness area was far from relaxing with an excess of noisy children, the water was cold, and the bubbles didn't last long in the jacuzzi and hot tub. The sauna area was also very small. Despite the advertisement of many different massage options, when it came to booking a massage they were very limited, and my pre-booked massage was even canceled on the day.

To make matters worse, the numerous extra expenses incurred throughout the stay were frustrating.

Overall, the quality fell very short of justifying the high price tag. I would not recommend staying here.

Wanna be fancy. A short bit uphill from the lake. Nice bar. Mostly arrogant reception girls who don't greet or acknowledge one's presence and never care for the order of clients coming in. Right, ofc, because they pretend not seeing anybody if not so inclined. Back office more responsive and friendly. Multiple area layout needs better sineage or better employees. Facilities are good.
