Very very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms big and clean. Parking next to the house available. Breakfast has something of everything. Location is perfect too. Restaurant is on which you get percentages and that has opened late into the night. We recommend!!

Only minus was the food, gnocchi was delicious but my partners fish was dry and quite hard. 2nd night we ate in the village a 10-15min walk - a delicious feast!

Nice vibe with old decorations and music and friendly humoristic waiter. The food was good, there are several fish and meat options. We were glad this restaurant still had place. A lot of other places to eat in Lohmen were fully booked.

Coming from Australia, it was an absolutely amazing experience to stay right in the middle of the beautiful National Park at Hagensches Baumhaus. The rooms were perfect and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed 3 days of extremely well prepared and cooked food (best schnitzel ever!) If your looking for somwhere to stay at Rügen then this is the place!!

It is the perfect weekend getaway for both family and friends. The resort boasts a fantastic indoor playground that quickly became my kid's favorite spot. The enormous pool is a highlight as well, staying warm even in the winter, which made for a delightful swim. The friendly staff and excellent amenities make this a destination we'll be returning to again and again. The dinner buffet was a bit expensive...

Great countryside hotel! Staff was very helpful and friendly.We had half-board, the food was always fresh and delicious, although drinks are not included during the dinner, prices are reasonable. Great place for families. Great/perfect room and breakfast plus super facilities for kids. I would have rated it five stars, but bad maintenance of the swimming area and no soap dispensers there really lowers the score.

the location is great, but the rooms needs to be maintained, no room service until requested and before 24 hours.

So, somewhat on the edge of making it a two but my little one enjoyed it, and that counts for something. The splash pool was included where we spent most of our time when being on the premises. It's quite alright but the indoor playground could use some upgrades, too. Worst part was the staff though. Be it at the hotel or the pool area. Most of them are rather standoffish and some downright weird...

Nice little hotel. The beds are very soft and low. Nothing for people with backs. The kitchen facilities are great. So you can make your own coffee or prepare something quick to eat. The breakfast buffet is very rich. For dinner we could choose between a fish and a meat dish as part of the half-board option.

Like every year, we, three families and two children, go to the Störtebeker Festival and are always in the same hotel "Beacon". The rooms, the food and the staff were all great. We will come back there again next year. Highly recommended by us Berliners.

It is a very nice place to stay with a nice host family. The house is in the middle of the garden, so you can sit in the garden for breakfast. Everything you need to make ends meet is there. There are also many shops nearby. The only drawback is that the rooms smelled slightly of musty mildew, so that even unworn laundry had to be put in the washing machine after the holiday. We were only there for one night before we had to move on. Super cozy place. Small hotel/boarding house. There was what was supposed to be. Very clean and nice. Close to both the harbour, shopping and the train station. Sweet hostess. My lousy German and her limited English worked out fine.

Nice reception and good location in Sassnitz. Very large and clean double room with kitchenette (stove, refrigerator, sink and dishwasher) and the largest TV I have ever had in a hotel ☺️ Small garden area with seating. Beds are a bit soft but that's a matter of taste. In my case, windows went out on the street side and of course there was a slight background noise. Didn't bother me and otherwise everything...

It is a nice modern Hotel. You have 5 minutes Walkway to the harbour.

Clean, quiet, late arrival is not a problem, stuff is giving you a call and the room is waiting for you. Early breakfast from 5am is really helpful. Nice and easy.

We had a room on the last floor with amazing view on the sea. Windows are looking to the east, and we really enjoyed the morning sun. There was even a small kitchen in the room. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best we've ever had at hotels.

We are thrilled to be staying here for our second time, it is like coming home. Hotel am Market has this German charm and the Ungarischen Restaurant has one amazing Goulasch and Gurken-Salad. Nice quiet hotel stay. Lady at front desk smokes so the damn hallways on the upper floors smell like smoke in the stairwell near elevator. It should be smoke free area.

I liked everything about this hotel. They keep the old fishermen style about it while keeping other things up to date. The food was very nice and the stuff were polite.

I've been here for about three weeks for a job offshore the harbour, rooms are clean and nice, mine was facing the street so a bit noisy due to traffic and busses. the Wi-Fi doesn't work at all except at the entrance of the hotel but goes up and down. No laundry service is provided, I had to walk south for about one kilometer to find a laundry. The restaurant has a nice pub inside, and is more than...

This is a nice hotel with excellent breakfast and an adjoining restaurant with good regional food. It is only steps away from the harbor, where ferrytrips are offered.

Beautiful experience in this hotel. Old? Yes, but absolutely clean, everything works perfect. Breakfast? Delicious! With a lot of options for veggies and not veggies. Vegan? Watch out! The Hotel Waterkant corresponded exactly to our expectations. It's small and has a family feel. Owner and staff are really nice and accommodating. We felt comfortable from the first minute. We had a comfort room with a view of the harbor and the Baltic Sea. The breakfast was very varied. We will definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely come back ourselves.

Free parking and free wifi. Close to everything in town. Many channels on the TV, but not a single channel in English. The BBC or CNN with news had been interesting.

This restaurant is actually a Michelin recommendation. It is the best and oldest one in town and has been in business for well over 30 years.

Nicely decorated with a sea theme, very clean rooms, although not the most comfortable. 5-10 minute walk to car park from hotel that's not much fun in the wind and rain. WiFi in rooms only, not in downstairs restaurant. WiFi is very slow.

Nicely located in the edge of Rügen, however you can reach most of the 'important' locations within 20 min by car. Clean blocks, nicely equiped rooms and dog-friendly, good prices, I can only recommend.

Nice 3***s hotel, located in the countryside, in a central place in the island of Rügen. A good choice for those who want to visit different places of the island. We had a nice large room on the 1st floor that included a small kitchen. The restaurant is above average, and can be recommended for the ones who like fine dishes.

We stayed here for two nights and it was really comfortable! Very good breakfast, especially the yoghurt! Thai-dinner night was extremely good too! The foam soup is amazing!

Rooms are wonderful, food is perfect. The staff is friendly, hotel is childfriendly. We got a baby bed in the room when asked. Definetely recommend this one!!
