I had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Alt Lohbrügger Hof. Warm atmosphere, super friendly staff, and everything was clean and well-kept. Breakfast was definitely a highlight great selection and the restaurant feels cozy, even when it’s busy.
What I liked most: quiet location but still good connection to Hamburg, comfy and spacious rooms.
Small thing to improve: the bathroom area should be separated with a glass door from the shower, otherwise water splashes everywhere. (the shower head moves around), but I’m sure the hotel can fix it quickly. One last thing the window in the room are locked and can't be open (probably not in all rooms) Overall, a great stay and I’d happily come back!

This hotel is excellent. It has a very old English feel which makes you feel comfortable. That, plus the very friendly and helpful service-orientated nature of the staff made this stay very pleasant indeed.
The amenities are also comfortable, the food is excellent and there is plenty of space to relax.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel’s restaurant is a real standout—it serves delicious food and has a great atmosphere. Truly a gem. I highly recommend it!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, with everything feeling fresh and in great condition. Rooms are quite nice and cozy, amenities included. The hotel itself is well kept but a lot of plush and antique style furniture give the ambiance a subdued atmosphere. Bathrooms have been renewed and are quite modern.
Food was mostly very good, service varied a lot. We had very nice, pleasant personnel, however some of the ladies were not that nice and came across quite a bit arrogant.

I spent two nights at this hotel with my teenage son and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is situated in a quiet area and offers free parking for guests. The premises are well-kept and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
The only drawbacks for me were the lack of bottled water in the room and the absence of air conditioning. I think these are essential amenities for a comfortable stay, especially in the summer months. I hope the hotel will consider adding them in the future.

I haven't been in Hamburg for a couple of years but this is my go-to hotel. Excellent, attentive staff and a breakfast buffet that starts the day off right! The bar & bowling are a great way to wind down after a day of business. Highly recommend if you come to Hamburg.

Spacious and clean rooms, and professional front desk staff. Highly recommended! Would be nice if there was an electric charger in the parking lot.
