Very nice place! Just next to the train station. Big nice rooms, very clean, good bed and chairs, simply a lot of space for everything. Very new and modern and feels like at home. Good breakfast for 5€!

Has been cost efficient, easy and provided me with everything I needed : A shower, a bed and breakfast. You can even boil your own tee there, damn it did bug me that I haven't had that with me. All in all simple yet sufficient.

Clean and Sky and WiFi included. 24/7 check in with option to pay with visa with check-in machine. Directly at the train station. No prob with closed windows but when it's warm and you have to open the windows extremely loud. For me only an option in winter time. Kitchen and (outside) smoking area downstairs.

Very clean place and friendly staff. It is next to a railwayline but don't be afraid, you won't hear any trains. The lights near the back exit flicker hard and can be seen from inside the rooms at night with the curtains closed. However I asume the staff will fix this fast.

Just beautiful. It is one of the rare old style German hotels that are not streamlined by the big hotel chains. The owners are very helpful, the location is excellent and breakfast more than we have expected. The neighborhood gives view to a number of great mansions dating back to the Wilhelminian period.

We visited this hotel some 14 years ago and we are still talking about the experience we then had. For us Hotel Residenz Joop has become the standard for the quality of hotels. The ambiance, the quality of the beds and rooms and last but not least the breakfast. All together, top of the bill. We will meet once again!

I was here at this hotel in 2017 September. The hotel is very elegant, the room was nice and fancy. The breakfast serving followed the hotel style. When I checked out, I met the owner of the hotel, he was very friendly, we talked about a lot of things. The only disadvantage was the internet connection speed.
