All-Round Feel-Good Package ! I was for a couple of day professionally, in Magdeburg, and I must say: a very good Hotel, I have rarely felt so good. Service is Top, rooms, Top, staff Top, Breakfast Top, ... thanks for the hospitality.
So a clear recommendation !

The Hotel has its 4 stars. It is not large and the Breakfast was not super extensive but everything is already, if you had something to call. The rooms are not sufficiently large, the state of the device is brand new but in very good condition, the house even has an Elevator and the above-mentioned Breakfast is fresh and sufficient in the selection and the building is located in a beautiful residential district within walking distance from the center. But what is the most important feature: it is a family hotel and it shows. The attention to Detail and especially the friendliness. I have now stayed several times there and there's never been a bad word and special requests on demand is also possible without problems. Most Recommendation!

Very helpful, courteous and friendly support/staff/hosts.
Very good location, no car required, with the public TRANSPORT.
Very quiet location, although it is located in the city.
Varied and rich Breakfast buffet.
Premises and the cleanliness perfect.
Also my partner, with the restriction of "blindness" has never felt so good, because it is for such enterprises is not, of course, to adapt, as we have seen, unfortunately, elsewhere, already feel.
Thus, the only 4 star Hotel in Magdeburg, which is personally run by the owners deserves at least 4 stars.

ADDENDUM - holiday and new year's eve in Magdeburg from 30.12.2013 to 02.01.2014. As a further evaluation is not possible:

Even after half a year, there is NOTHING to complain about, Therefore we can't understand the poor star rating, without a comment and this also is not serious.
Now we have made up for some of what our 1. Visit to Magdeburg was not possible, since the maximum water level of the Elbe was reached.
We were in the bowling meeting, on the theatre ship, and in the Elbe country house, which is advisable. The bathroom Nautica is not like us.
This time, we were impressed by the order and cleanliness of the premises in the Hotel and the staff, what is people-oriented. "It is not just a guest." You will feel well cared for and want to get away of the loved one will not have more, even if one has a Handicap (blindness) as my partner.
Something like this is, unfortunately, much too rare.

Very good Service, dedication to the Job in the Hotel worked and we were closed as a guest to the heart, leads to only one conclusion:

The Hotel has earned a 5-ratings star, and a re-visit we would come back any time. (Date 05.01.2014)

The Villa Joop in Magdeburg, led by the very charming couple, Joop, offers a unique in all of Germany presented courtesy that surpasses any service orientation in a Hotel by Far.
If it is the Joops not once would you have to put in every city of this world will see a "Villa Joop".

- Central location, 5-10 minutes walk towards the city centre
- excellent Breakfast with a variety of fresh products, such as a plentiful selection of fruits, muesli, salmon, meats and Cheeses, fresh eggs, coffee, flexible schedule
- responsive, personal, personable Service by all staff
- personal Note due to the high identification with the home by the couple Joop
- for the whole package: Cheap!

We were at the beginning of October for two nights guests in this house. Super friendly Team, great Breakfast, individual requests are NOT, of course, finally times a Hotel, the worry-free package rounded off concrete for the best feel-good factor and a large Garage for our bikes for us. We are already looking forward to the next visit. I hope, then a room is still available...see you soon

We stayed 3 days in June 2013, two days more than planned because of the gracious services and convenient location. This has been the best stay of our two weeks in Germany.
