The hotel is right next to the train station and is a good starting point for a city trip. However, the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are accordingly older and leave something to be desired. The bathroom is not that clean and the bedding/curtains are also full of stains. The breakfast was OK. The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating.

Its cost 90 euro one day, the room style interior w as great but the bed is so lower and its double bed but not good, there are no tootbrush and no cpffee like the other hotels in Philippines even just one day,, and if you wanna use the pool you need to add 6euro per head, the toilet is clean,, you only have free one bottle of water

Nice place but very noisy to sleep during the night

Spending a night here is like walking into a Dr. Seuss book. I mean that in the most lovely way. It's beautiful from the outside, the inside is very unique and the street level is filled with all of these interesting shops. The hotel itself only consists of one floor, I believe, of this entire building. The other floors are permanent residents.

Best Business Hotel in Magdeburg. Room size, service, pool with sauna, training area, huge breakfast perfect bar, underground parking. If you get a deal everything for around 100 Euro per night. Otherwise a 19 Euro Breakfast and parking... Is for sure a bit pricey but worth it and comparable with the other hotels.

Rooms and breakfast were great, but the service of some personal on the reception was rude and unprofessional, which pretty much ruined the impression, especially because it happened during the check in.

Hotel is located 4 mins walk from the main train station. Car park is just underneath at an extra charge. The hotel feels spacious. Great central atrium. We had an amazing big room with 4 beds and a sitting area. Services were limited in August 2021 due to the pandemic. The restaurant was open and next door is a sports bar.

It was a good hotel but with diner it is difficult. After 8 or 9 pm you cannot order anything at the hotel self. But they allow takeaway or delivery from another restaurant.

The hotel was OK, rooms were large but beds, even double was pushed together single beds. Reception staff were very friendly but breakfast staff were not ver helpful. We visited the restaurant to enjoy Easter Brunch on Sunday. The buffet looked amazing, but unfortunately it was just the looks. Most of the foods didn't taste well. They were either too dry or lacked spices. I would expect something more high class from a 32 EUR brunch. Everything was great, however room was a little tight but it is usual for Motel Ones. There is a parking but it is possible to park in the neighbor street parking or streets (it is free during weekend). Bar has impressive list of gins and tonics. It is definitely worth trying

We booked a family room. Nice bright and spacious with a king size bed and bunk. The room was air-conditioned and with all amenities needed apart from the phone. You can get a cold buffet breakfast with a half price discount for a child.

Excellent room, very friendly reception, sadly breakfast is 16 Euro per Person. No alternative (small breakfast). However, super friendly, and pets allowed which is great but a one-off charge 15 Euros. Plenty parking too but is charged 6 Euro per day nowerdays. Overall are other locations becoming more interesting now.

Things seem to be going downhill. The underground car park is now closed and the Italian restaurant in the building is permanently closed. The rooms look old and are now really due for a comprehensive renovation. Motivated employees are still holding everything together well, but it is very clear that renovations will soon take place. We visited ElbRivera today for lunch and it was delicios. Very fresh and tasty meals, specials of the week were different kinds of cutlet. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Simple but Chic decor. Meals for kids where only 3 for choise and could have been dished up more in kids style than in the way for adults.

Just beautiful. It is one of the rare old style German hotels that are not streamlined by the big hotel chains. The owners are very helpful, the location is excellent and breakfast more than we have expected. The neighborhood gives view to a number of great mansions dating back to the Wilhelminian period.

We visited this hotel some 14 years ago and we are still talking about the experience we then had. For us Hotel Residenz Joop has become the standard for the quality of hotels.
