Where to stay in Memmingen

Great establishment I had a couple beers and food which tasted great. Absolutely unreal service from ibi who was an absolute gent really helped us out great service and hospitality and service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Traditional hotel that had plenty of character, good parking and a super location. However, the furniture, carpets, etc all felt a bit dated. Breakfast was a bit on the basic side. I'd go back though. The town centre was really good, loads of bars and restaurants that seemed exceptional value.

We stayed in Memmingen for a night to visit a friend, and booked it last minute. Because of a long journey we arrived slightly after the due check-in hours and were slightly puzzled as to how we were meant to enter the hotel. Good, reliable small hotel in one of my favourite spits on the planet. I have stayed here many times and will do so again. Rooms are fairly small and simply appointed. Bathrooms work well, but I’ve marked them down due to the paucity of decent towels in the room. Too few, too small and a bit threadbare. Everything else is fine though

Good size room and bathroom facilities, clean and warm. The mattress was too soft for me, i was filling like in a boat. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpul staff. No fridge and no AC. Will be good if they provide normal not only sparkling water too. Good central location for strolling around.

Good sized, clean and tidy room. The only worry is that if it is really hot it would be hot and stuff. Even during the cooler days we had (20c ish during the day) we had to sleep with both windows open which meant we heard the deliveries at 5am.

Correct hotel, very well located for walking around the old town. Breakfast is not very varied but of good quality.

The hotel is really great and the location around the city center. The rooms are comfortable and the beds as well. I had a great night sleep. Also, the staff was so, so nice and even let us check in earlier then 3 PM. Thank you so much again for that! If we will come back to Memmingen, for sure we will consider this hotel again.

Super hotel Falken in Memmingen. I fully recommend staying there. A very friendly and welcoming reception. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and super clean. Our room had a steam bath and bathtub included, which worked perfectly. Breakfast had it all. Memmingen is a lovely city, day and night. Haamann.

It's a nice small hotel located in a very nice area where there's many restaurants, cafes, stores and bakeries. Overall, I liked the hotel because it's nice and quiet. The facility is clean in general and the staff is very friendly and nice. Make sure to park in their garage since outside, there are not many options where you can park, and if you'll forget to pay for your parking you'll get a fine...

This was our second stay at Hotel Falken. We love it because of its central position in the pretty town of Memmingen. It is within easy reach of a variety of great restaurants. Nice hotel, clean comfy and well equipped bedrooms. Bathrooms large and spacious. Decent breakfast, although there is a lack of hot food options. Major let down for me was no air conditioning, and no fan in the room to mitigate this. With proximity to busy road and having the windows open made for an uncomfortable night.

We have went there for dinner with colleagues. The main dishes were quite well also wine's. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. We did not stayed at the hotel, next time I will try.

Ideal stopover on the way from Rhineland to Südtirol. Not far from Autobahn intersection. 5 minutes walk from the old and beautiful part of Memmingen, free parking . Quiet rooms, clean, spacious, everything you need is available, fair pricing, good breakfast. If weather allows, book a table in the beautiful beer garden. Surely will return when in the area again.

The best restaurant in Memmingen. Food ?????, cleanliness ?????, service ???????. Everyone is very attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. We felt very, very comfortable. I'll definitely be back. Engelkeller is the perfect hotel. Nice rooms, spacious breakfast area and garden where you can dine in good weather. The staff is attentive and friendly. Covid19 measures are being taken to ensure your exposure is minimal but your safety is ensured. Oh yes, the restaurant will not disappoint!

The staff was great, room was comfortable and clean. There was not a phone in the room to call staff, but the staff went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Good prise, the place looks a bit traditional old but thats part of the experience. We had diner in the Hotel. Pricing a bit high but if you looks at the quantities of good food you get its perfect in balance. Beds are good, kinderbed was included. Breakfast before leave was good with a tasteful cup of coffee.

Booked this last minute after a flight cancellation. Old fashioned Bavarian hotel, full of charm and lovely and warm. Rooms are large but bit basic, and the bathrooms would benefit from modernisation. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean.

The hotel is 5 minutes from the centre but since we had a car we didnt care.. Its an old hotel in a green residential area . The rooms are huge and spacy with big balcony The beer garden and restaurant nice surrounded by green... Ok the hotel is old and needs fixing also the shower needs a curtain because the water spills everywhere... On the second night we stayed our flight was early in the morning...

Fab stay A really lovely stay in a great location. Pros: Customer service and amazing restaurant. You must have dinner here. Our waitress was so lovely Cons: Found the bed to be really uncomfortable and the pillow even worse. However my husband had no issues! I’m a front sleeper and the huge square pillow was just not comfortable

Our stay was very nice. Nice helpful staff very nice rooms. The food was excellent and there was something for every taste. In the thermal bath an application could not take place but we immediately got a voucher which we could then redeem at the bar.

While planning a mere overnight stay, the dinner was well above our expectations. Even though we were traveling from French Riviera, the meal we got here was by far the best for all the trip. It is worth to stay here just for the excellent cuisine.

The food was delicious and prepared quickly. The salad was great! I also found the Kässpätzle very successful. The prices are to be regarded as cheap for the portions and the delicious food. The huge farm with all kinds of small animals on which the children could romp around and discover without hesitation was also positive.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Sonnenhang which was fully booked during our stay. Check-in was quick and friendly and service at breakfast efficient and friendly. The spread at breakfast was very good and typically German. We stayed in the appartment which is huge and very well equipped. It also has a balcony. This was a nice property, set in it's own grounds with a nice wooden area behind and 15 minutes walking distance into the old town at Kempten. Room was clean, comfortable, although it was not sure conditioned. A nice breakfast buffet was included also. Parking and vehicular access was also simple.

A Comfortable modern hotel that offers free parking at the property.. There is an excellent Restaurant at the property which offers a selection of classic dishes from the Allgau region. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Almost everything I needed was available at the Hotel. I will definitely stay there again when I next visit the City of Kempten

The hotel used to be a monastery but was completely renovated and is quite modern. The staff is very friendly and the service is always great. The in-house restaurant is also good with an often changing menu and seasonal dishes. Especially the steaks are surprisingly good! The breakfast selection is rich and plentiful. The rooms are all identical with a queen size bed and TV. Free WiFi is available...

Very nice hotel with a beautiful sightseeing from the landscape. You can take a lot of very nice walks after a long day. The service is ultra good. The rooms are mega cozy and you can sleep very well. I can only recommend it :-).

We were just passing by when we found this nice Biergarten. Had a great Schnitzel (calf) and an healthy salad while our daughter played on the small but nice outdoor playground. Only downside is that it's a little too close to the main street.

The room was nice, but service is less than a bed and breakfast and the breakfast was so poor, that my daughter didn't know what to eat, as there weren't sweet things, just some ham and cheese.

I enjoy my stay here, every room has a espresso coffee machine and a kettle and a minibar so it was enough while watching Euro 2020 football qualifications in that big TV 😊 Breakfast was good although some colleagues found it weak. Staff was friendly and supplied whatever I requested.

Okay, I am going to give another all star rating! The room interior is good enough for the price, but the reason for winning all star is extra free evening salad buffet! Healthy enough to let your digesting system to try something different rather than meat everyday! Location wise, 3 minutes walking to the central and what else you can say? also the final surprise is free and isolated underground parking...

Very nice hotel. The hotel has a good location and is very close to the city centre (10 min walk). Parking is for free which is nice. The hotelroom was clean, looked very modern, had a fridge and coffee and tea. There was unfortunately no airco, so I opened the windows. Don't do this at night, woke op 4 times because of the sirenes of the police. Breakfast is really delicious and worth your money....

This was the seccond time we visited this hotel. The rooms have since been renovated and we really liked ours. The breakfast was exceptional with a great diversity of choises. Also the staff was very friendly and efficient. Check in and check put was quick and good! We highly recommend it!

Nothing over the top, but definitely still a nice place to stay. Clean and updated. Free parking. Pretty good breakfast! Walking distance to pretty much anything you'd want to go to.

Wonderful hotel in Kempten. The price is really good considering the quality and size of rooms. I have stayed in the largest hotel room of my life, probably. In higher floors, there is a magnificent top view of Kempten city..you can enjoy this refrehing view from balcony of your room. Also the breakfast lounge is at the top again with great view. The size of the rooms are great, including a nice annex and big wardrobe. The furniture at the other side is out of time. The service is very friendly! Made the stay even better. The breakfast location is good as it is located at the highest floor. Unfortunately, it didn't taste good.

The hotel is amazing, near the Neuschwanstein castle, huge spacious and clean rooms, a very hearty breakfast, there is even a red fish. I advise.

There's no real double room in the double room. Guests behave like mad at night.

Everything went perfectly except for the self-check-in. However, the emergency number was able to help immediately and was extremely helpful.

Great hoatoric hotel. We are a family of 5, and had to book 2 rooms. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Breakfast included was the best we've encountered on our trip.

From the moment that we arrived we felt welcome and relaxed. Our messenine room ( has two floors ) was large with great views over the river. The bathroom is on the upper level (bath robes would be welcome ) .Very very clean. Comfortable bed ( cotton sheet would be appreciated instead of a stretch cover ). A restaurant is located in the building ( not run by the hotel) it is fantastic .. don’t forget...

Excellent cannot be beaten Beautiful boutique hotel .. one of the best that I have visited. Lovely location on the river, nice views. We had a mezzanine room on the top floor bedroom with a bathroom above. Very clean. Location very good for access to the old town. Lots of Parking on site. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a fantastic Greek restaurant in the building which is not managed...
