Where to stay in Minden

Lovely, family run hotel. Have been going back there for many years and always enjoy our stay. We particularly like the beer garden...

Very friendly staff that accommodate English speaking guests. The breakfast buffet is extensive and the rooms are comfortable. The location is a bit far from city center but in a lovely quiet neighborhood with many gardens.

Vird hotel, in two parts. Second parts it is like lower categorie. In my room I can hear whistling through the window all the time on windy days. 3 till now. Breakfast it's pretty poor even have big choices. Prefabricated food. Scrambled eggs look like have been dun from powder eggs.

You cannot be more central! Big comfortable rooms. Unlike some other reviews We found the staff very helpful. Reasonably priced.

Spacious room, double deluxe. Location couldn't be more central but the loud disco music until 03.15 in the morning was unexpected! Customer service; nothing was too much trouble. In fact, nothing seemed like far too much trouble. I would not use this hotel again.

Great spacious family bedroom, the kids are in a seperate side room. The hotel is clean and bright, beautifully decorated, feels very luxurious but breakfast was amazing!!!! Beautiful room to eat and great selection, everything fresh. Will definitely be coming back!!!

I was only here for a company gathering in the banquet room which was gorgeous! The waiters and waitresses were all on point and removed dirty plates in a timely polite manner and asked or refilled drinks promptly! 😊😁 cold plates offered in buffet style as well as hot plates offered as well.

A good hotel with a nice central location. My room wasn't ready as I arrived early but the staff were very accomodating and there is a nice bar to wait in. The rooms are spacious and the bath room I had was huge with a good shower. Can be a bit noisy if you shave a window near the street as you can hear the cobbles during morning deliverys. WiFi is free in most of Minden and the hotel is covered too

It is literally in the center of the city, location is great, rooms are clean and nice. Staff is friendly and breakfast there is good! Rooms need AC in the summer ,seein as you cant fully open windows and it gets quite hot inside! Parking is available but not easy to get into with a big car so be careful

Very nice hotel and great breakfast and restaurant/bar. I saw a deer outside in the field in the morning. Try the peach schnapps made by the owner at the bar... Delicious 😋

I have been to the restaurant for about five times and always had the best quality time with my family and a very delicious food served by the professional and friendly staff. The Traditional Wiener Schnitzel is very good, I have also tried once the "A Fuhre Mist" which is also very good set of various meats served in a very authentic way, but this was honestly too much for me to eat alone. Stayed for two nights due to work commitments locally and the hotel was friendly and welcoming, the room was big with a good bathroom. Limited TV channels but that is a minor issue. Bar / restaurant was busy but service was good and the staff were very nice and helpful.

The hotel is nice and clean the rooms are big enough with the standard equipments. It is at the edge of the town, so highly recommended a car here. The restaurant: This dinner surprised me a bit - in a positive way. The amount is one thing, but the quality was awesome! Recommended! The only thing, that can be negative was the waiting time, but not uncomfortable.

Really pleasant hotel in Minden. Well laid out rooms and spacious bathrooms. Hotel restaurant, bar and outdoor patio, is fantastic. The food was so impressive. My only watch out here is that the rooms do not have air-conditioning... so the rooms can be very warm, I was given a standing fan by the hotel reception. It helped but I personally missed the luxury of air-con. Comfy bed and always kept clean...

The 4-star hotel didn't meet my expectations. While the breakfast is generous and excellent, the service is commendable, and the common areas are satisfactory, I was disappointed with the bathroom in the room—it had a curtain, which resulted in significant water leakage onto the floor. Additionally, there was no air conditioning, making the room uncomfortably warm. This wasn't what I anticipated given...

The ease with which we could get to it by bus from the train station and it's closeness to the town centre

Nice cosy hotel in a small town setting. I was there for a wedding in Buckeburg. The staff at the hotel were extremely pleasant and a delight to ask questions. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side but have all the amenities needed. (Stars given are relative to the hotel stars).

Nice hotel, great service, great restaurant, but didn't had a computer for guest, my cellphone broke and I had no way of reaching out.

The closet had a kilo of red onions in it. I kid you not. Yes, it was as weird as it sounds. Bathroom was small. Bed is a bit old. Breakfast was good. Staff is friendly. All in all a solid stay but nothing amazing.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The crew is very friendly and the rooms are also very comfortable. The food was also very delicious. Perfect breakfast and I recommend everyone to book this hotel.

Purely business hotel. The Owner is very courteous and helpful. City market is near and at walk-able distance. Best thing is there is a jogging park right in front of the hotel.

My home away from home for 4 months. Super friendly and warm hosts. Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms nicely renovated. Breakfast buffet style, good selection. Would certainly go back

Amazing hotel with fabulous service, beautiful rooms, quiet, comfortable, affordable. The staff will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable in the best way possible. We stayed for 2 nights and we will stay at this hotel again for sure. ❤️

Personal service is exceptional, especially from Ralf Poth!! After 8 hours drive he/they helped us with parking our camper, with starting the sauna at 22.00 (!) and with serving a beer in the nice sauna were we were alone! Breakfast was great. Nice modern bathrooms in large clean yet somehow traditional/out-dated rooms. Good price/quality rate; nice quiet village-like environment!

A nice place for a free weekend. The rooms are simple, but for this price are OK. The transportation is a bit problematic, I can only recommend to go wit car. The restaurant is very good, the crew is very nice and friendly.

I recently attended a reunion which took place at Hotel Bad Minden. The service, attentiveness and friendliness of the hotel staff was incredible. The food was excellent with a wide range. The hotel was very clean and tidy. Unfortunately because i had to leave early so did not stay the night, however based on what i experienced, I can defiantly recommend. Excellent job, Hotel Bad Minden Team!

I was here for a worktrip with my job. We stayed here for 4 nights and i have very few complaints. The only thing is that the breakfast did not have that much selection. The rooms were really Nice, with comfortable beds and netflix and YouTube available on the TV. The bathroom was clean and great quality, especially the showers. Perfect water preassure and temperature. I would recommend this hotel...

Can't tell much about the hotel rooms, since I was lucky and got a special apartment but that is mind blowing. The breakfast is not enormous but of b very good quality and you don't have to eat suspicious eggs from big bowls but an employee will actually cook you some fresh ones. The gym could be modernized, but all over I can't complain.
