I just loved this place. First of all the people who work at the reception are super polite and nice. Secondly the hall place looks like a move set for twin peaks, shining or x files. It’s like the time stoped there. The esthetics of the hotel are just stunning.

A last minute booking but a warm welcome, nice big family room. Well equipped, quiet and relaxing. Car parking is in the covered garage, which is helpful in bad weather. The buffet dinner was really nice, a chance to sample a variety of German food. Breakfast was a nice variety and plenty of space in the dining room. The local area is good to explore.

Very good! I could not find fault with this hotel. The accommodation was luxurious and clean. Maritim has a beautiful lobby, and is convenient to the nearby highly rated park.

So this is a weird review...

If you're looking for a glamorous boutique hotel with a fresh and modern look with all the glitz of a designer magazine then this is not for you.

But... If you want a bit of 70's retro this place is fabulous. It even had the 1970's smell. It has a fantastic location in the town and I love it.

Brown, brass, marble and teak wood set against bold carpets. Don't let the pictures online put you off. And don't worry about those temperamental credit card door entry pads here... good old fashioned keys that you leave at reception. How awesome 😎

The bathroom tiles are so 70's... They scream Beatles, Rolling Stones and Abba all at once. But... They look brand new... Absolutely immaculate. The bathroom sink is so large you could swim in it.

This was a fantastic nostalgic throw back to simpler times and if the management have got anything about them they should market it that way.

It has all modern facilities i.e., pool, WiFi etc for the kids. We stayed whilst visiting friends in the town so it was a base rather than a resort per se.

It's located at the top end of beautiful Bad Salzufen right next to the Kurpark. This should be marketed by the company to Brits as a weekend 70s retreat and the prices are very good.

If you're looking for a piece of 1970s nostalgia and a great weekend break then get yourself booked to Bad Salzufen and the Maritim Hotel... Bloody marvelous

Love this hotel. I come here every year for the Bike Show. Very good location. Great staff. Rooms are clean and cozy. Breakfast is great with sparkling wine.

Pleasant surprise to find such a nice hotel on the way to Hannover.

Pretty decent hotel, 4 star maximum, if you fancy thermal baths this might be a perfect spot. I stayed here for a business trip to Hannover, which is 45min away. There is an abundance of thermal bath facilities in the direct neighborhood

Quiet location, great view of the Kurpark lake and the recreational park. Distance to city centre 10 mins by foot. Rooms are a little bit old fashioned but well l kept with great quality furniture and great beds. Restaurant food quality is excellent as is the service throughout the hotel. Spa, fitness, wellness area and sauna is very clean and appropriately sized. Wireless internet included. Especially great is the breakfast buffet. Rooms not air conditioned.

Lovely place helpful friendly staff. Stayed for 5 days were treated very well. Would recommended to friends and family
