Good rooms very tidy, clean and comfortable beds, besides the pull out bed, good kitchen with reasonable prices, beautiful and stunning surrounding area with a lot of Forrest and sights. However the staff is harsher than you might be used to, sometimes appearing unfriendly, that is nothing particularly special in this part of Germany, though. Definitely worth a visit!

A little bit overloaded, but it was Christi Himmelfahrt, so nothing else to expect. Pricy but you should know about that, when go there

Wonderful location for nature lovers who like also fairy tale. Very friendly staff and very good kitchen. A lot of interesting things in the environment. To the center of Dresden is only about 20 min. Very gladly again.

A beautiful Hotel in the middle of the forest. For large functions and events. The rooms are on the ground floor and the first floor. Unfortunately the Elevator is missing. The rooms are very neat and clean. The device is held kurfürtlich. Wi-Fi is free. It should lay us there once again we return there.

We have eaten there in a very cosy and idyllic atmosphere. The Service was very accommodating and we had a very pleasant evening. The surrounding area is fantastic and invites you to a beautiful horse-drawn carriage ride.

Small hotel away from the main road, so that you can sleep in peacefully. Currently no buffet, but Breakfast platter at the table. Everything kept quite simple, without any special flair.

Stayed in a four-room room, very spacious, furnishings are not up to date, but we still felt comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly okay. We would have liked to be greeted with more empathy. A little smile never hurts.

Quiet location, breakfast is in a separate building, the breakfast rolls are not fresh from the bakery but the heat-your-own-in -the-oven type and you can taste the difference. A great place to stay in rural Dresden. Nice staff and tasty breakfast. Room was large and had a small kitchen. Funny little farm across street with noisy little goats and sheep. Cute patio area and general area. Easy to get downtown Dresden. Would definitely stay there again.

It was nice. Kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Very small village with nothing to do but walk around the neighborhood. There is a Biergarten within 2-3 miles. There is also an interesting pond with lots of water Lilies and these strange "frogs" that sound like aliens. If you don't sleep well and like the windows open at night, they may drive you crazy.

A very cozy little chic hotel with an expressive view. The breakfast is very extensive and tasty even with smaller businesses.

Food was good, maybe a little too expensive, the Service was poor, the only waitress overwhelmed and bad at dealing with customers.

Haus Steinbach is always worth a visit, we even celebrated our wedding there 3½ years ago and have been in contact ever since. Today there was a little Christmas market feeling with mulled wine, punch, quark balls and a round of grilled sausages ... We are always happy to go there, so warm people ❤️

We love being here and can only recommend a visit. Most recently at the Federweißerfest with all sorts of small delicacies as well as beautiful wines and Federweißer. Despite the many guests you usually get a seat :) PS: the "star images" are from last year

I would say it’s average. Fairly clean, meanwhile very old. Distance between lobby and your room is quite a journey specially when you have a baby carriage. The place is not baby or toddler friendly. There are no ramp for carriage. You must use elevator directly to garage-parking area and go to Lobby or if you want to go out because with baby carriage not possible from main entrances. We stayed at Villa Gottfried ( one of the buildings that belong to the hotel ) from 16/10 - 19/10. Quiet and good quality hotel with a huge underground garage. Customer friendly staff. Breakfast was abundant and delicious with a huge selection to choose from.

The rooms and the hotel itself are quite nice. The campus is well groomed as well. What is not okay, however, is the signage. I arrived in the middle of the night and there is no conspicuous sign whatsoever pointing out the City Hotel. When you go to the location of the hotel on Google Maps you arrive at a building which is apparently part of the hotel but there is no reference to the City Hotel there...

Good place to stay near Dresden. Hotel is situated in quiet atea. Parking is available in the underground garage 9€ per night). Wi-fi is paid 5€ per 24 hours.

I booked one night only in this down-to-earth guesthouse. It‘s located the center of a tiny suburb of Dresden. Several restaurants are located within walking distance. Both the room and its bathroom were spacious and clean. One level down there was a little kitchenette to share, which I did not use. I could have a good rest!

Great place! Rooms are clean, friendly staff, pet friendly, staff speaks English. The room on the photos is a family room for 4. Room number 37. Excellent!

Recommended! Everything is perfect. I had a nice stay. Breakfast is value for money. Be aware that parking cost 8€. I checked in late (after 8pm ) so I contacted the owner through call and mail (around 6pm) but no one answered. It was a bit frustrating. I simply dropped by at 8;30 PM and the staff were still there at the restaurant.

Das Hotel Friedrichs Hof Dittrichs erben ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber , das Frühstück reichhaltig und sehr gut.

We stayed for one night with two adults and two children (2 years and 2 months) in the family room with two separate rooms. There was a cot and the rooms were very clean and large. The Service was very friendly, Breakfast there was, eg, an unsolicited plastic tableware for the big. Overall, highly recommended, especially at just 72€ per night.

We were at the wine tasting here. It was really fun. The food was great and the wines very appealing. The explanations of each course were interesting. The ambience was great, the service was nice and friendly.
